Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the articulation learning method, increase students' understanding of the articulation learning method, and find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the articulation learning method in the Balaghah subject at Hasbullah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, Jombang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the type of field research. Techniques in data collection are used in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. This study uses data analysis through condensation, presentation, and conclusion. The research results obtained by the researchers showed that (1) the implementation of the articulation learning method in increasing students' understanding at the Hasbullah Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang Islamic Boarding School went through three stages, namely the initial stage, the core stage, and the closing stage; (2) in increasing the understanding of the students experienced a significant increase, the data was taken from the learning evaluation; (3) factors supporting the implementation of the articulation learning method include supporting infrastructure, namely the completeness of Islamic boarding school facilities and infrastructure, complete learning books, while the inhibiting factors for the implementation of the articulation learning method differ in the characteristics and level of understanding of each student.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to find out the implications of social anxiety disorder for the increase in maharah al-kalam of Arabic students, as well as to find out the factors that cause the emergence of social anxiety disorder in Arabic students and the symptoms it causes. This research is included in the type of qualitative research with the library research method. The documentation method is chosen by the author in data collection activities. Then, the collected data were analyzed using content analysis techniques. Research, the result is obtained that shows that social anxiety disorder has implications for increasing maharah al-kalam Arabic students. Some of the factors that cause social anxiety disorder in students include not having confidence in their abilities, fear of being wrong, worrying about the negative responses of others, inequality in economic status, addiction to social media, being born to permissive parents, and experiencing trauma. The symptoms include feeling uncomfortable, stiff movements, unfocused eyesight, body shaking, sensitivity, and avoiding eye contact. The results of this study have implications for Arabic language teachers to realize that social anxiety disorder experienced by students is not something that can be taken lightly and needs to be overcome, then so that teachers can take social anxiety disorder prevention measures for their students.

Abstract

إن علم النحو يتعلق علاقة قوية بمهارة الكتابة إلا أن هناك لا يزال الكثير من الطلبة لم يبذلوا جهودهم في استيعابه و تطبيقه في الكتابة حتى وجد المحاضر بعض الأخطاء النحوية في كتابتهم و خاصة في رسالاتهم الأكادمية. و من أسباب ذلك أن فهم الطلاب عن قواعد النحو لا يزال ضعيفا. و كذلك بقلة التدريبات على تطبيق تلك القواعد في التعبير الكتابي. أراد الباحث هنا تقديم ثلاثة الأمور: (1) الأخطاء النحوية في وضع الجمل المفيدة الواردة في البحث العلمي؛ (2) الأخطاء النحوية في وضع الفقرة العربية الواردة في البحث العلمي؛ (3) مساهمة هذا التحليل في تعليم مهارة الكتابة و النحو في قسم تعليم اللغة العربية. و منهج البحث المستخدم هو تحليل المضمون )تحليل المحتوى( والمقابلات والوثائق. وتظهر نتائج البحث ما يلي: (1) الأخطاء في بناء الجمل المفيدة تشمل: أولاً، عدم وجود توافق بين الفاعل والفعل، ثانياً، تجاهل قواعد الأفعال الخامسة؛ ثالثًا: لا يوجد توافق بين النعت والمنعوت؛ رابعاً، الأخطاء في فهم "العائد" للضمير؛ خامساً: وضع الإضافة في موضع النعت. سادسا، عدم القدرة على وضع أحرف النواسخ في الجمل. (2) الأخطاء في وضع الفقرات ما يلي: أولاً، عدم القدرة على تحديد الروابط؛ ثانيًا: تحديد العائد بين الجمل، ثالثا: في تحديد علامات الترقيم. (3) تشتمل المساهمات البحثية على أمرين: أولاً، المساهمات التخطيطية والتي تتكون من: (أ) عند تجميع مواد المحاضرة؛ (ب) تقديم ديل كتابة ، ثانيًا، المساهمة العملية؛ إعطاء المحاضر نقاط الخطأ في كتابة الطلاب حتى يتمكن من تقديم تدريب أكثر تركيزًا وفقًا لجانب الخطأ الأكثر بروزًا.

Abstract

This research explores the potential of Arabic language students in Indonesia to develop "Arabic for Specific Purposes" (ASP) modules, focusing on integrating entrepreneurial concepts into language learning. The study aims to examine the factors influencing students' engagement in entrepreneurship and how a structured curriculum can enhance both their entrepreneurial skills and Arabic proficiency. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study surveyed 136 students from Arabic Language Education programs across various Indonesian universities, gathering both quantitative data on students' attitudes toward entrepreneurship and qualitative insights into their experiences in ASP module development. The findings revealed that most students show strong interest in creating practical Arabic modules, especially for real-world applications. However, they require further training in communication skills, curriculum design, and market awareness. The study suggests that incorporating entrepreneurial competencies into the curriculum—especially in market analysis and user-centered design—would benefit students. It recommends providing structured support and training to bridge knowledge gaps and enhance students' entrepreneurial potential. Future research could explore how gender dynamics and real-world entrepreneurial simulations influence ASP module development in language education.

Abstract

Khitobah is one form of activity in Arabic language learning that can enhance the quality of Arabic language education in the modern era. Literature studies are conducted to explore the role of khitobah in improving the quality of Arabic language education. This study involves literature analysis of articles, books, and journals related to khitobah and Arabic language learning. The results of this study indicate that khitobah plays a significant role in enhancing Arabic speaking skills and understanding of Arab culture. Khitobah activities can train contextual Arabic speaking skills and build confidence in speaking. Additionally, khitobah can also help students understand Arab culture through the themes discussed in speeches. In the modern era, khitobah can be implemented in Arabic language learning through the use of technology and educational innovations. This research recommends the use of khitobah in modern-era Arabic language education to improve the quality of Arabic language education.Abstrak: Khitobah merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bahasa Arab di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka untuk mendalami peran khitobah dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Analisis literatur dilakukan terhadap artikel, buku, dan jurnal yang relevan dengan khitobah serta pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa khitobah memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab sekaligus pemahaman terhadap budaya Arab. Melalui kegiatan khitobah, peserta didik dapat melatih keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab secara kontekstual dan membangun rasa percaya diri dalam berkomunikasi. Selain itu, khitobah juga dapat membantu peserta didik memahami budaya Arab melalui tema-tema yang diangkat dalam pidato. Di era modern, khitobah dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab melalui pemanfaatan teknologi dan inovasi pendidikan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan khitobah dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab di era modern guna mendukung peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Arabic language environment is one of the success keys to learn Arabic language. Language environment is all of students hear and see about the target language that they learned. Raden Paku Islamic Boarding School Trenggalek and Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding school Tulungagung are two schools which apply the Arabic language environment, therefore both of them are chosen. This research discuss about: (1) The implementation of Arabic language environment, (2) Problem in the implementation of Arabic language environment and its solution, and (3) Role of Arabic language environment in Arabic learning. Based on the structure and object of the research, this research classified as representative studies and field research. The data obtained in this study then processed qualitatively. The results of this study are: (1) The two Islamic Boarding Schools in this study implement an Arabic language environment every day. Starting with giving mufrodats in the morning, learning in the morning, compulsory conversations, providing diniyah lessons, requiring students to speak Arabic and english alternately everi week, and practicing speech in three languages. (2) The implementation of Arabic language environment in Raden Paku Trenggalek Islamic Boarding School and Darul Hikmah Tulungagung Islamic Boarding School both have problems. These problem are: many teachers were recruited from outside boarding school, chefs who serve students using Indonesion or javanese every day, new students do not speak Arabic an it takes half a year to adjust, and dormitory security personnel comes from outside boarding school and they only speak javanese and Indonesian. (3) The Arabic language environment is the key to create successful Arabic learning. The role of the arabic environment in learning Arabic in this two boarding schools is to accelerate the mastery of Arabic by the students, make the students familiar with Arabic, the student are fluent in Arabic language material quickly, and the students excel in the Arabic language.

Abstract

By utilizing visual media such as videos and picture cards, this method aims to enhance students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary. This study was conducted at As-Salma Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang, involving class A as the control group and class B as the experimental group. Using a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design, the instruments employed were multiple-choice test, and data analysis was performed using the t-test. The results demonstrate that contextual learning based on visual-spatial intelligence successfully aids students understanding arabic vocabulary. Class B achieved a perfect score of 28.57%, while the control class had no students reached a perfect score. Additionally, 14.29% of students in class B required further guidance, whereas 38.1% of students in the control class needed assistance. The t-test results showed a t-value of 3.40 with a p-value of 0.0008, which is lower than the significance level. This indicates that contextual learning based on visual-spatial intelligence is effective to improved the understanding of Arabic vocabulary among beginner students.
