Abstract

Abstract

The Contextual-based videos link material with concepts contained in real life. So, it produces learning that is appropriate to student context. Contextual learning emphasizes the process of full student involvement to be able to understand the material being studied and relate it to life situations. This study aims to determine the differences in the improvement of learning outcomes, learning activities, and student learning responses to the use of contextual-based instructional video media. Data collection techniques used were observation, tests, and a survey to respondents in the form of questionnaire questions on contextual-based learning video assessments. The research was conducted at SMA NU Juntinyuat. The design of this study was the Control Group Pretest-Posttest design. One group was given a treatment (experimental group) and the other was not treated (control group). The results showed that: (1) there was a significant difference in student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class, (2) the average percentage of student learning activities increased to 92%. (3) The percentage of the average student response questionnaire as a whole is 83% with very strong criteria.

Abstract

This without us knowing the hidden curriculum has an influence on the process to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study 1) Describe the application of 'hidden curriculum' in the concept of environmental pollution in class X of SMAN 1 Ciwaringin. 2) Describe the differences in the improvement of student learning outcomes implemented by the hidden curriculum through the use of the school environment with those not implemented through the use of the school environment on the concept of environmental pollution in class X 3. school on the concept of environmental pollution in class X. The method used is quantitative methods, from observation, tests and questionnaires. The population of the study was all students from class X. Sampling using simple random sampling, namely X MIPA 2 experimental class amounted to 30 students and X MIPA 3 control classes amounted to 30 students. Recapitulation of the percentage of observation of student activities on average by 84% in the category of "Very High", the application of the "hidden curriculum" very well. The results of the N-Gain N-Gain significance value of 0,000 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the data it can be concluded that there are differences in the increase in significant student learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes. Students give a positive response an average value of 82.5% with the criteria "very strong". Abstract

The sophistication of technology and access to information in the twenty-first century pushed education providers to transform preparing students to face a more challenging future. Effective and relevant teaching and learning strategies are needed in biology learning to meet the needs of future generations. Therefore, this study aims to observe the biology learning process in one of senior high school. A qualitative research approach with an observation method was used in this study. This research was conducted in class X SMA N 1 Tanjung, Brebes, Central Java. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation check list, questionnaires, and interviews. Observation of the biology learning process carried out focused on the lesson plan document, learning process, and interviews as well as student and teacher questionnaires on the biology learning process. The data collection process was carried out 3 times. The results obtained from this study indicate that teachers already know the demands of the curriculum and the needs of the 21st century. This can be seen from the of lesson plans made by the teacher. However, other findings from this study are, the skills of teachers in implementing the lesson plan with discovery learning methods are still not optimal. Learning activities undertaken have not yet led to the provision of student skills needed in 21st century. This research is expected to be used as a reference for improving the process of learning biology

Abstract

In the current era of technological development, the flow of information and knowledge is very quickly updated, so that facilities are needed to compensate, especially in the field of education. Conventional learning models can support interactions between teachers and students, but on the other hand, this model is less able to provide facilities in the form of access to information anytime and anywhere. These weaknesses can be overcome by online learning, so that a blended learning solution appears, which still considers the interaction of teachers and students and expands learning opportunities because it is not limited to time and place. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of blended learning based on kelas kita network sites in improving student achievement, activities, and learning attitudes. The subjects of this study were two classes of MA students (experimental class of 33 students and control class of 34 students) in Cirebon, Indonesia. The biological material chosen in this study was environmental change. The study design used a Pretest-Posttest control group. Data collection techniques employed observation, tests, and questionnaires. From the results of the study, it provides information that the experimental class applied blended learning model had significantly different achievements, activities, and learning attitudes (sig 0.05) compared to the control class. Students had an enthusiastic attitude because they were given the opportunity to explore their potential in studying literature based on kelas kita network. The implication of this research is that a blended learning model can be developed and applied to other materials, even in other subjects.

Abstract

This study intends to analyze the religiosity of high school students using the Glock-Stark theory and its impact on curriculum development and Islamic Education learning. The research utilized a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design. The data show that the level of religiosity among students differs. The ANOVA test indicates that there are substantial differences in religiosity levels across 9 high schools in West Java. Research shows that variations in students' levels of religiosity are shaped by internal factors like cognitive abilities and external factors like the religious environment of families, schools, and communities, including the characteristics of teachers. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive examination of both internal and external factors influencing religiosity and its specific focus on the implications for curriculum development in Islamic Education. This study's findings have significant implications for curriculum development and school physical activity instruction, encompassing planning, execution, and learning assessment
