Abstract

Abstrak Saat ini teknologi informasi sudah sangat berkembang menjadi salah satu media yang paling populer di dunia. Sayangnya dengan berkembangnya teknologi informasi semakin berkembang pula tindak penyalah gunaan informasi yang bukan haknya. Dengan berbagai teknik banyak yang mencoba untuk mengakses informasi yang bukan haknya. Maka dari itu sejalan dengan berkembangnya media internet ini harus juga dibarengi dengan perkembangan pengamanan informasi. Berbagai macam teknik digunakan untuk melindungi informasi yang dirahasiakan dari orang yang tidak berhak, salah satunya adalah teknik steganografi. Pada tugas akhir ini, dibuat aplikasi steganografi yang bertujuan untuk mengamankan informasi berupa pesan teks dengan menyisipkan (menyembunyikan) kedalam pesan lainnya yaitu pada citra digital dengan menggunakan metode algoritma LSB (Least Significant Bit) dan dengan enkripsi Vigenere Cipher. Hasil dari aplikasi ini adalah dapat menyisipkan pesan tersembunyi berupa teks ke dalam berkas citra digital berformat JPEG dan dapat mengekstraksi kembali pesan tersembunyi tersebut dari dalam citra (stego-image). Kata kunci: Steganografi, Least Significant Bit (LSB), Vigenere Cipher. Abstract Today information technology has greatly evolved into one of the most popular media in the world. Unfortunately, with the rapid development of information technology is growing also follow misuse of information that is not right. With the many techniques that attempt to access information that is not right. Therefore in line with the growth of the Internet media should also be coupled with the development of information security. Various techniques are used to protect confidential information from unauthorized people, one of which is the technique of steganography. In this final report, made steganography application that aims to secure the information in the form of a text by inserting (hide) into another message that the digital image using the algorithm LSB (Least Significant Bit) and encryption Vigenere Cipher. The result of this application is to insert hidden messages (text file) into digital image (JPEG) and can extract the hidden message back from the image (stego-image). Abstract

Nakhoda kapal dengan kualifikasi Ahli Nautika Tingkat-II (ANT-II)  merupakan  profesional yang memiliki pengetahuan dan pengalaman pada level tertinggi dalam sistem operasi kapal mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengelolaan, menganalisis, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia (KKNI) membuka peluang bagi para profesional seperti Nakhoda kapal untuk setara dengan jenjang tertentumenggunakan Rekognisi Pembelajaran Lampau (RPL). Hal ini memungkinkan sebagai cara pemenuhan dosen pada pendidikan tinggi vokasi dari profesional atau industri. Penelitian deskripsi ini disajikan untuk menganalisis penyetaraan Nakhoda kapal ke dalam Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia melalui studi pustaka dan analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nakhoda kapal dapat disetarakan dengan jenjang 8 Kerangka Kualifikasi Nasional Indonesia melalui desain instrumen penilaian yang disusun berdasarkan aspek kompetensi pengajaran dan kompetensi profesional.

Abstract

The association of Bujang Dara Meranti Islands as tourism ambassadors have a big role in helping the government to introduce and promote the tourism potential that exists in the Meranti Islands Regency to a wide audience. In carrying out his duties as a tourism ambassador, skills and expertise are needed in promoting tourism potential as well as having an attractive way of communication and appearance in order to influence the community. In this thesis the author only discusses how the association of Bujang Dara Meranti Islands communication strategy in promoting tourism. The purpose of this study was to determine how the communicator strategy, message strategy, media selection strategy, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the association of Bujang Dara in Promoting Tourism in the Meranti Islands Regency.This research method uses qualitative research methods. The informants of this study consisted of 10 people namely, 1 from the Department of Youth Tourism and Sports in the Meranti Islands Regency, 5 from the association of Bujang Dara Meranti Islands, and 4 from the community to support this research. Data collection techniques consisted of interviews, observation and documentation, while data analysis techniques used interactive models by Huberman and Miles. The data validity checking technique uses an extension of participation and triangulation.Based on the results of research that the author has done, the results of research to identify the first problem are communicator strategies in promoting tourism are all members of the Meranti Archipelago Bujang Dara Association who have credibility and attractiveness. The message strategy is informative and persuasive by specifying information using #yokkemeranti as the tagline. The media used are social media and print media. Then related to the identification of the latter are supporting factors and inhibiting factors, where the supporting factors are the potential for tourism objects, the tourism office, and the role of the community, while the inhibiting factors are human resources, natural factors access to tourist sites, lack of mastery of foreign languages, and obstacles budget.  Keywords : Communication Strategy, Bujang and Dara, Tourism Ambassador.

Abstract

This paper discusses the legal protection for sailors on Indonesian Ships amid the many problems experienced by Indonesian sailors. The belence between what has been done with the wages received by Indonesian sailors should be felt by Indonesian sailors has not been releazed, where in case of industrial relation disputes so far can not be resolved fairly, especially about the work place that is on the ship with the location always nomaden. Primary data sources were obtained from interviewers with several Indonesia sailors, as well as the secondary data sources of reference related legislation. The results show that many Indonesian sailors who are unaware of the legal certainty/lack of awarness and understanding of sailors about the relevant law or regulation are factors inhibiting implementation in the field. In addition, low discipline inthe management of income to ensure life on the old days.

Abstract

The integration of the production flow on precast is the initial requirement in determining the results that will be obtained on a graphic product, especially on the resulting color. The goal is to produce accurate prints with the processed data on a computer device. In the data process conducted using interview and observation methods. Interviews were conducted with resource persons who were experts in their fields and observations made were direct practice guided by experts. The results obtained from the data study carried out are in the form of a file format that is useful for integrating work system flows in the precast section of a graphics industry.Keywords— Control, Integrated Systems, Graphics Technology

Abstract

The era of Education 4.0 is education characterized by the use of digital technology in the learning process. The teaching and learning process that is integrated with appropriate technology will support the success of education in this era. Vocational education is a tertiary institution that supports the mastery of applied skills in certain fields. Shipping is one of these vocational fields. Shipping is closely related to the port and the loading and unloading process in it. Generally, this loading and unloading process takes quite a long time and causes congestion. The reason is that it is difficult to find an instant way to arrange items that are easy to pick up in the order they arrive. The purpose of this study is to develop a web-based simulator to determine the right stowage plan for the arrangement of containers on a transport ship and implement it in learning in shipping vocational education (Polteknik Pelayaran Surabaya and Politeknik Pelayaran Malahayati). With the RnD type, this research produces a simulator design that can display ship mileage, ship data, container data, container arrangement on ships, as well as ship stability and displacement calculations. It is hoped that with this simulator, the loading and unloading process at the port will be faster and congestion can be reduced. When implemented in Cargo Handling and Stowage Include Cargo Space and Reporting classes and ship construction and stability, the simulator media had a positive effect on cadets (87% through the results of the response questionnaire and 86.5% on competency tests).

Abstract

This aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness on distance learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic at Politeknik Pelayaran Malahayati. The type of research that will be used is descriptive research. The descriptive type in this study was to describe the effectiveness on distance learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic in the Politeknik Pelayaran Malahayati. Descriptive research is research conducted to determine the value of independent variables, either one or more (independent) variables without making comparisons, or connecting one variable to another. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the education system in Indonesia into distance learning using online media. This is done in order to reduce and stop the chain of distribution. The use of information technology in distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at Politeknik Pelayaran Malahayati was considered effective by cadets/I in terms of 5 indicators, namely (1) cadet characteristics during long distance learning, (2) cadets' understanding of long distance learning material, (3) Learning tools used by lecturers in long distance learning, (4) Interaction in long distance learning, and (5) cadets' learning achievement. On the other hand, there are still learning weaknesses, namely internet network constraints, the physical usefulness of physical learning is lacking, and the type of task is monotonous. In theoretical courses, long distance learning is very understandable and effective, but practical courses that require direct skills are quite effective, there are still some difficulties for cadets. Educators have a very decisive role in the success of this online learning. Educators must create creative, innovative, and recreational learning methods that stimulate cadets to be willing to be actively involved in online learning and feel the meaning of distance learning.

Abstract

Developing new routes in the shipping business, the calculation uses the formula determined by the Minister of Transportation No.  KM.  58 of 2003. However, this manual calculation takes a long time, and the possibility of human error is large.  So, we need a more effective and efficient way to calculate the fuel needed to cover a certain distance.  In this study, a simulator was developed that uses the spherical triangle concept to determine the distance and direction of the ship and then integrates it with the formula to get the results of the fuel calculation.  From the results of trials using the Bung Tomo Training Ship, the results of calculations are faster and more accurate.  The simulator positively affects cadets when applied in applied mathematics classes (85% through response questionnaire results and 87% competency test).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan Teknologi Informasi (TI) dapat digunakan untuk media pembelajaran dalam dunia pendidikan di bidang pelayaran yang struktur kurikulumnya hampir 70% adalah praktikum.Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan studi kasus tempat penelitian Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya. metode deskriptif adalah pencarian fakta dengan interpretasi yang tepat dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu 1) menganalisis gaya belajar taruna, 2) pemilihan model pembelajaran, 3) pemilihan media pembelajaran berbasis TI, 4) evaluasi respon taruna terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis TI. Hasil penilitian menunjukan gaya belajar yang menjadi dominan gaya belajar taruna adalah kinestetik sebesar 36,9%, visual 25,6%, Auditori 18,2%, Global 14,9% dan Analitik 4,4%. Model pembelajaran cenderung pada model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (Problem Based Learning), hal ini disebabkan hampir 96% dosen melibatkan taruna dalam memecahkan masalah dengan mengintegrasikan berbagai kosep dan keterampilan dari berbagai disiplin ilmu. Media pembelajaran hampir 70% menggunakan laboratorium, simulator maupun bengkel untuk menunjang kegiatan belajar mengajar. Media pembelajaran e-learning, simulator dan game edukasi sudah dikembangkan mendapat respon positif taruna adalah 89%, artinya penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis TI berdampak positif terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil belajar taruna diperoleh data taruna yang lulus kompetensi sebanyak 89 taruna dan tidak lulus kompetensi sebanyak 11 taruna, sehingga ketuntasan hasil belajar taruna adalah 89%. Berdasarkan hasil analisi data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis TI di Politeknik Pelayaran Surabaya bekualitas baik dan sangat optimal digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar
