Abstract

ABSTRACT Understanding factors that control the behavior of children and properly manage children's behavior is an important part of development, particularly the social, emotional and moral development. This study aims to prove the allegation of the influence of the characteristics, the presence of parents, and foster pattern of parents to the social, emotional, and moral development on school age children in urban and rural areas in Banyumas Regency. The study design was cross sectional with a population of all school age children. Samples are school age children in urban and rural areas aged 10-12 years in Banyumas Regency. The sampling technique was purposive sampling, with a total sample of 350 (n = 350). The results showed the leading factors related to social, emotional, moral development of school age children in Banyumas Regency (magnitude more than 0.45) is father’s job/l ocation of school (first factor), mother’s job/school location (second factor), and foster pattern of parents (third factor). Eigen values showed 49% of the total item is determined by the first factor, 28% the second factor, and 73% the third factor. Factors that influence of social, emotional, and moral development of school age children in Banyumas Regency is school location in rural or urban (the factor of child characteristics), father’s job and mother’s job (the factor of the presence of parents), and the factor of foster pattern of parents. The results implication of this study suggest every parent worker should take into account the quality and quantity of contact with children so there were no social, emotional and moral problems in the future; parents should disseminate pro-social values to prevent children becoming aggressive, anti-social and oriented give sanction (sanction-oriented) to others; necessary to develop social and emotional learning competencies (five social and emotional competency learning) to the children include the development of self-awareness, social awareness, relationship skills, responsible decision making, and self-management. Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the extent of implementation process about Educational Operating Cost (EOC) at Public Vocational High School in North Jakarta consists of; (1)rationality which underlying Public Vocational High School in North Jakarta (2) stages (3)the main contents implementation of budget policy of Educational Operating Cost. (4) budget policy and (5) the impact of the implementation of Educational Operating Cost policy.This research uses qualitative methods with observation, interview and documentation. In this case the right approach and considered applicable is to use Countenance of Robert E. Stake because this model is considered to provide an overview in the beginning of evaluation results to the evaluation criteria of policy implementation. Stake stressed that there is two basic activities in the evaluation of Description and Judgement which emphasizes three stages such as; Antecedents (Context), Transaction (Process), Outcomes (Output), as this model has more advantages than the other methods.The research carried out at Public Vocational High School in North Jakarta consisting of 8 (eight) schools. The impact of expected implementation policy evaluation is : School can implement message contents of Government Rule Number. 34/2015 which generally aims to fund education operational activity in order to implement compulsory education 12 years. to complement the needs of teaching and learning activities, to maintain educational facilities, and to improve the management of the school administration.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di MTs Paradigma Palembang masih didominasi oleh seorang  guru atau teacher center sehingga hasilnya kurang efektif, terutama dalam pemahaman konsep matematika. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut peneliti ingin menerapkan metode resitasi dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses dalam proses pembelajaran di MTs Paradigma Palembang. Permasalahan dalampenelitian ini adalah (1) Bagaimana tingkat pemahaman konsep matematika siswa setelah diterapkan metode resitasi dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses pada pokok bahasan persamaan linier satu variabel di kelas VII MTs Paradigma Palembang. (2) Apakah ada pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari penerapan metode resitasi dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada pokok bahasan persamaan linier satu variabel di kelas VII MTs Paradigma Palembang.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) tingkat pemahaman konsep metematika siswa setelah diterapkan metode resitasi dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses pada pokok bahasan persamaan linier satu variabel di kelas VII MTs Paradigma palembang, (2) pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari penerapan metode resitasi dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada pokok bahasan persamaan linier satu variabel di kelas VII MTs Paradigma Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen dimana kelas VII.B sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 26 siswa dan kelas VII.A sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah  27 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan pembahasan diperoleh  rata-rata nilai pemahaman konsep matematika kelas eksperimen 85.192 termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali, sedangkan  rata-rata nilai pemahaman konsep matematika kelas kontrol 66.962 termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Setelah dilakukan  perhitungan dengan uji-t diperoleh thitung = 6.716 dan ttabel = 2.009,  karena thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan dari penerapan metode resitasi dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa pada pokok bahasan persamaan linier satu variabel di kelas VII MTs Paradigma Palembang

Abstract

Memperhatikan fenomena ke-hidupan sekarang ini yang ada di tengah-tengah kita yaitu perilaku yang menyimpang dari perilaku umum yang ada pada kehidupan masyarakat yang sangat dinamis ini. Perilaku Lesbian, Guy, Bisek dan Transgender (LGBT) muncul kem-bali sesuai dengan arus globalisasi dengan mengatasnamakan hak asasi manusia. Perilaku semacam ini tid-ak hanya menimbulkan masalah sosial juga masalah-masalah lain, yaitu agama, kesehatan, dan hukum. Masalah itu menjadi perde-batan yang panjang antara yang mendukung keberadaan kaum LGBT dan yang melarang adanya kaum LGBT. Perdebatan atau disku-si juga belum menemukan titik temu yang maksimal untuk me-nyelesaikan perilaku yang berbeda dari masyarakat Indonesia umumnya. Kaum LGBT mengklaim bahwa diri dan eksistensinya tidak lain adanya sebagai upaya adanya hak yang melekat pada orang seorang, sehingga keberadaan kaum LGBT tidak boleh dipermasalahkan apalagi dilarang karena merupakan hak asasi yang mereka miliki. Sekali lagi mereka melakukannya hanya-lah atas nama hak asasi manusia yang mereka miliki dan secara sosial masyarakat harus menerima mereka sebagai bagian dari masyarakat pa-da umum, begitu juga agama dan hukum tidak boleh seenaknya melarang keberadaan kaum LGBT.

Abstract

Menteri Dalam Negeri Tjahjo Kumolo telah meminta kepada Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia untuk membantu jalannya pemerintahan dalam hal ini meminta anggota kepolisian aktif untuk menjadi pejabat sementara gubernur Sumatera Utara dan Jawa Barat, pro kontra pun bermunculan. Penulis yang berlatar belakang ilmu hukum juga mencoba berusaha merespon keinginan Menteri Dalam Negeri tersebut dengan mendudukan kembali posisi Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia dalam sistem ketatanegaraan Indonesia setelah amandemen UUD 1945.

Abstract

Pemahaman terhadap arti atau makna suatu rambu lalu lintas sangatlah penting, terutama bagi para pengemudi. Penelitian terhadap tingkat pemahaman rambu di Wilayah Soloraya dilakukan kepada para responden yang dikelompokkan dalam beberapa kelompok usia, gender, pendidikan, profesi, jangkauan perjalanan perhari, jenis SIM yang dimiliki, lama kepemilikan SIM, dan jenis kendaraan yang digunakan. Selain untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman secara umum, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat pemahaman baik di dalam kelompok atau antar kelompok responden. Rambu yang diujikan tingkat pemahamannya adalah 5 jenis rambu peringatan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan ternyata tingkat pemahaman rata-rata pengemudi yang bermukim di Wilayah Soloraya terhadap rambu peringatan sebesar 74,88% dan tingkat pemahaman ini lebih baik dibanding di kota lain pada negara yang sedang berkembang.Hubungan antara tingkat pemahaman dengan berbagai kelompok seperti usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, profesi, jangkauan perjalanan atau jarak tempuh, jenis kepemilikan SIM, lama kepemilikan SIM, dan jenis kendaraan yang dikendarai ternyata sangat lemah. Sedangkan perbedaan tingkat pemahaman dalam sebuah kelompok berdasarkan jenis profesi responden dan jenis kepemilikan SIM ternyata menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Dimungkinkan bahwa hasil ini sangat didukung oleh tingkat pemahaman yang tinggi yang dimiliki oleh responden yang berprofesi sebagai sopir dan rata-rata memiliki selain SIM C dan SIM A.

Abstract

Patients undergoing hemodialysis experience various problems arising from malfunctioning of the kidneys. They are 1.5 to 3 times more likely to experience psychological disorders than other chronic diseases including low levels of self-acceptance. This study aims to determine the effects of giving Islamic reading booklets on self-acceptance of hemodialysis patients at Islamic Hospital of Fatimah Cilacap. This study used a quasi-experimental design. The type of this research is one group pre-test-post-test design. The study was conducted to 52 patients undergoing hemodialysis at Islamic Hospital of Fatimah Cilacap with a purposive sampling technique. The instrument of patient self-acceptance scale in this study is a questionnaire that consists of 15 question items and had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis used sample paired T Test. The results showed that most samples are female (55.4%); most length of hemodialysis period is in the range of 1-3 years (57.7%); most patients’ educational background is elementary school (46.2%); the mean of patients’ age is 49.86 years. The Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0.000 <0.05; in other words, there are effects of giving Islamic reading booklets on hemodialysis patients’ self-acceptance at Islamic Hospital of Fatimah Cilacap.

Abstract

A message that attracts attention and is easy to understand based on the AKC Model will have a compliance impact on the viewer. Likewise, safety messages for drivers can be applied in an effort to improve road safety. Various writings or pictures, especially those on the back of the vehicle, generally attract other drivers who see it. Installation of a distance message on a test vehicle equipped with a camera and the IonRoad Program is used to detect the behavior of the driver or the response of a vehicle following a test vehicle that is installed with a safety message. The results of the analysis show the driver's response when he sees a safety message on the test vehicle and takes action to maintain a safe distance from the test vehicle. The installation of driving safety messages installed on vehicles has the potential to be an alternative in increasing safety in addition to signs or other messages installed above or on the side of the road.

Abstract

In the era of globalization that carries the positive and negative impacts, especially in the various lines of life and education, quality assurance develops so fast in moving educational institutions. There is a need for good quality educators to improve public trust in the progress of the learning service. Therefore, educators must have excellent planning to face a great challenges. One of the efforts that must be done by educator is the ability to provide the service of learning that can open all the exist possibilities in their minds to make students becomes a strong and intelligent man in science and have a good morals. Results of this study indicate that brain-based learning is effective for increasing motivation and students learning outcome at madrasah level, so that the student’s learning needs are met to be able to develop their abilities.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to (1) analyze the differences in student learning motivation using the SAVI learning model and those using the expository learning model, (2) to analyze the differences in student learning motivation using the SAVI learning model and those using the expository learning model in terms of school majors. This study is an experimental study using a Mix Method approach involving 68 students of the Akamigas Balongan Indramayu Petroleum Engineering Study Program. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling, two classes were selected as samples, namely class 20 TPA as experimental class I and class 20 TPB as experimental class II. The tools or instruments in this study were learning outcomes tests in the form of explanations about explanations, interviews, motivation questionnaires and questionnaires from school majors. The data analysis of this research is using the mean comparison test, ANOVA test and correlation test. The results of this study are: (1) the learning motivation of students who use the SAVI learning model is better than those using the expository learning model, (2) the learning motivation of students who use the SAVI model and come from the origin of the science department is better. Thus, the SAVI learning model is good for use in learning mathematics because students are more active and interested in learning and can be a reference for teachers/lecturers in increasing students learning motivation.
