Abstract

Medicinal herbal is highly recommended especially for pregnant women with bacterial infection to reduce the consumption of synthetic antibiotics that are harmful to their body and also fetus. E. scaber and P. obtusa are believed to increase the number of imunocompetent cells such as CD8+ and CD8+CD62L+ T cell cause both plants have biochemical compound such as saponin and flavonoid. These plants good for immune system, but optimum dose of mixture extracts from both leaves to increase the number of CD8+ and CD8+CD62L+ T cell in mice is doesnt know yet. This study to determine effect of E. scaber and P. obtusa leaf extract by compared the number of CD8+ and CD8+CD62L+ T cell between control mice and treated mice. E. scaber and P. obtusa leaf extract can not reduce relative number of CD8+ T cells compared with control mice after 14 days treatment and 18 days. Even it show little different number but it was not significantly different, whereas the number of CD8+ decreased in K2 control mice also not significantly different than other treatments. K1 group is always show the highest number of CD8+ T cell compared to other treatments. CD8+ was decreased by increasing the doses of P. obtusa leaf extract. Key word: E. scaber, CD8+ T cell, CD8+CD62L+ T cell, P. obtusa, Salmonella typhimurium.

Abstract

This research was done based on the limited availability of teaching instrument for mathematic class as part of teacher preparation on the implementation of National Curriculum 2013. This research aims to develop the mathematics teaching instruments which includes Lesson Plan (LP) and Student Worksheet (SW). Those instruments were developed based on discovery learning steps for teaching social arithmetic at Junior High School. The development research procedure is carried out with reference to the 4-D model developed by Thiagarajan which is done through the stage of define, design, develop and disseminate.Teaching instrumentswere validated by four validators and revised based on the suggestion of the validators. Researcher did two tested that are small group tested and large group tested. Researcher did the small tested for 10 students of SMPN 13 Pekanbaru to determine the validity of SW. Researcher also did the large group tested to 38 students of VII.10 SMPN 13 Pekanbaru for applying the LP and SW and getting respond from students. Based on data analysis of validator and students’ response it can be concludedthat the LP for social arithmetic is valid with score is 91.97% and the SW is very valid with the score is 89.40%. On Practicality aspects, SW had given score 95.70 % by student. Based on above score this teaching instrument is recommended to be used by the teacher in teaching topic social arithmetic for Junior High Students.

Abstract

This study uses qualitative research, with the type of multi-case study research. The main data source in this study was obtained by snowball sampling. Data collection techniques in this study used three techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The locations used as research sites were State Elementary School Babatan I and State Elementary School Wiyung, which are partnering with USAID Prioritas. State Elementary School Babatan I before partnering with USAID was accredited B, but after partnering with USAID accredited A in 2016. State Elementary School Wiyung was able to maintain its accreditation after partnering with USAID. The conclusion of this study states that improving the quality of education in State Elementary School Babatan I and State Elementary School Wiyung has been reached. This can be seen from the acceleration of changes in both physical development, and human resources, especially teachers and students both in quantity and quality.

Abstract

Transmission package delivery can be a problem of routes on the network, one of them is the Wireless network. Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) topology is often used on Wireless networks. The existence of a malicious node is a threat to MANET. Package delivery uses AODV and AOMDV Protocol Routing in TCP and UDP packet transmission. This study uses a simulation method using NS2, NAM and AWK. The Quality of Service (QoS) parameters used are throughput, packet loss, and jitter. Simulations are carried out using malicious nodes, the results on the AOMDV TCP graph have the highest input values and the best packets but are difficult to minimize energy, while for the TCP jitter values graph is best because it has a flow control function that can adjust the trajectory. The results in AOMDV TCP have the highest input value and the best packet loss but it is difficult to minimize energy, while for TCP value jitters it is best because it has a flow control function that can adjust the trajectory

Abstract

Various types of curriculum development are used by the Indonesian government in achieving the ideals of the nation which is to educate the nation's life and produce the next generation of people who have morality and noble character. The selection of a curriculum development model is not only based on strengths and benefits and the possibility of achieving optimal results, but also needs to be adjusted to the educational management system adopted and the educational concepts used. Curriculum organization is an arrangement of experience and knowledge that must be delivered and carried out by students to achieve the desired goals or competencies. The intended experience is divided into direct experience and indirect experience gained or received by students during the learning process. While the knowledge in question is the standard knowledge that is possible to develop in accordance with the times. This paper uses a method in the form of theoretical study of curriculum development models and curriculum organization. These theories are summarized and searched for the common thread so that discussion can be put forward regarding the development model and curriculum organization.

Abstract

After the COVID-19 pandemic for approximately 2 years, a lot of learning that is usually face-to-face is finally done online or in hybrid ways. Certain learning phases, like writing hiragana, katakana, and kanji in a face-to-face classroom, are not transferable to online learning. The goal of this study is to mitigate the learning loss that happens when face-to-face instruction in Japanese language classes is substituted by online learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative by presenting various ways of teaching Moji-Goi using learning media and YouTube. According to John Keller (2021), learning should use the ARCS method (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction) so that learning loss can be overcome with various treatments including the ARCS method and various uses of media such as cards, games, songs, role-play, and YouTube. This research also intends to introduce JF (Japan Foundation) Standard learning and share information about Japanese language teaching, especially about Moji-Goi (Vocabulary-letters)
