Abstract

This research aimed to investigate whether there is an effect of the implementation of cooperative learning model of think talk write type on students’ mathematical communication skill. This research population was all students of grade 10th of SMAN 13 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into 7 classes. This research samples were students of X6 and X7 class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. This research design was posttest only. The research data were score of students’ mathematical communication skill. The result of data analysis showed that students’ mathematical communication skill in cooperative learning model of think talk write type was higher than conventional learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an effect of the implementation of cooperative learning model of think talk write type on students’ mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 13 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi ke dalam 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X6 dan X7, yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian adalah posttest only. Data penelitian adalah skor kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW lebih tinggi daripada model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: komunikasi matematis, konvensional, TTW

Abstract

The aimed of this research was to find out the effectiveness of Cooperative Learning type Two Stay Two Stay (TSTS) in terms of students conceptual understanding of mathematics. The population of this research was students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 16 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017 wich were distributed in 12 classes. The samples of this research were studens of VIII-A and VIII-B class which were choosen by purposive random sampling technique. This research used posttest-only control group design. Data of this research were analyzed using -test and -test. The result of this research showed that Cooperative Learning type Two Stay Two Stay (TSTS) was not effective in terms of studentsconceptual understanding of mathematics.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 16 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 12 kelas. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswa pada kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B yang diambil dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain posttest-only control group design. Data penilitian ini di analisa dengan menggunakan uji dan uji . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TSTS tidak efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, two stay two stray, pemahaman konsep matematis.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a problem-based learning model on student’s mathematical communication skills. The population was all students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung odd semester in the academic year 2019/2020 that were distributed into ten classes. The research samples were all students of grade VIII E and VIII F which were selected through a purposive sampling technique. The posttest only controls group design was used as the design of this research. The research data analysis using U-test at a significant level  = 0.05, students’ communication skills with the problem-based learning model are significantly higher than students’ communication skills with conventional learning. Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning of jigsaw type considered by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The research used pre-test post-test control design. The population was all students of grade 7th SMPN 1 Pekalongan, Lampung Timur in academic year 2012/2013 and the samples of research were students of VII.2 and VII.3 class that chosen from six classes by purposive sampling technique. Based on the result of data analysis, it was gotten the average of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type was higher then conventional learning. The conclusion of this research was the cooperative learning model of Jigsaw type was effective considered by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembel­ajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.  Desain penelitian adalah pre-test post-test control design, dengan popu­lasi yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Pekalongan Kabupaten Lampung Timur tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 dan sebagai sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII.2 dan VII.3 yang dipilih dari enam kelas dengan cara purposive sampling.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata pe­maham­an konsep matematis siswa pada model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih tinggi dari pada pembelajar­an konvensional. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw efektif diterapkan terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Kata kunci:  efektivitas, jigsaw, pemahaman konsep matematis

Abstract

This quasi experimental research which aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share (TPS) type towards student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics. Posttest only control design was used in this research. The population was all students of grade 7th of SMP Negeri 1  Bukitkemuning, even semester, in the academic year 2012/2013. Sample was students of VII D as experiment class and VII C as control class that was determined by purposive random sampling technique. Based on data analysis, student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics by cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share type is better than conventional those of learning. So it is concluded that cooperative learning model of Think Pair Share type influences student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembel­ajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.  Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control design. Popu­lasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Bukitkemuning tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 sebanyak 269 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam enam kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa rata-rata pemaham­an konsep matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share lebih baik dari pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep matematis, pengaruh, Think Pair Share

Abstract

The students’ understanding of Mathematic concept in class VII.2 in the first semester of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo in the year 2012/2013  was relatively low.The students activities in the teaching learning process were also less active. The teaching modesl wich were used were conventional learning models so, the learning process were seemed monotonous. This research is a classroom action research which was conducted to increase the students’ learning activities and in understanding Mathematic concept through TGT Typed Cooperative Learning Model in the first semester of Class VII.2 of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo 2012/2013. The results of the research showed that there is a positive improvement of the students’ learning activities and understanding Mathematic concepts trough the implementation of  TGT Typed Cooperative Learning Model in the first semester of Class VII.2 of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo 2012/2013.  From data analytic could be gotten that the average percentage of students’ learning activities increased significantly 87,5%, the progress of students in understanding Mathematic concept increased into 69,351 %, and 68,75 % for students Mastery Learning. It could be concluded that the implementation of TGT Typed Cooperative Learning Model in the first semester of Class VII.2 of SMP N.1 Gadingrejo 2012-2013  was able to increase students’ learning activities and in understanding Mathematic concept. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of problem based learning model in terms of students' mathematical communication skills. The population of this study was all students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Pugung, Tanggamus in the academic year of 2018/2019 as many as 135 students, which were distributed into five classes. The sample of this study were students in VIIIA and VIIIB class selected by cluster random sampling technique. The design which was used was a pretest-posttest group design. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney U test and proportion test. The results of data analysis showed that the mathematical communication skills of students who followed the PBL model were higher than the mathematical communication skills of students who followed conventional learning and the proportion of students who had good categorized of mathematical communication skills was more than 60% of the number of students who followed the PBL model. Thus, the PBL model was effective in terms of students' mathematical communication skills. Keywords : comunication skils of mathematics, problem based learning

The design which was used was pretest posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 2 Trimurjo in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into eight classes, with the samples were students of VIII D and VIII E class who were taken by purposive random sampling technique. The research data were obtained by test. The conclusion of this research was the cooperative learning of TPS open-ended problem based could increase the student’s mathematical creative thinking skill. Thus, cooperative learning of TPS open-ended problem based was effective viewed by student’s mathematical creative thinking skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif TPS berbasis open-ended problem ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Trimurjo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam delapan kelas, dengan sampel yaitu siswa kelas VIIID dan VIIIE yang diambil dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kooperatif TPS berbasis open-ended problem dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa. Abstract

The population of this research was all grade eight students of Junior High School 1 Bangunrejo Lampung Tengah in academic year of 2013/2014 and students of VIII A and VIII B class as samples which were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical communication ability. The conclusion of this research was think talk write learning strategy affects towards the student’s mathematical communication ability.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan  strategi pembelajaran think talk write terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bangunrejo Lampung Tengah tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 dan siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B sebagai sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis.
