Abstract

This research was motivated by the start of the curriculum independence for driving schools at every level of education, including early childhood education. The independent curriculum is a new curriculum, and compiling a new curriculum is not easy for every educational unit. This is a polemic that is often felt by PAUD educators and their managers every time the curriculum changes. However, the independent curriculum is not yet mandatory for every early childhood education institution. There are three alternative options for implementation. It is important to carry out this research to provide an understanding of the essence and method of preparing an independent curriculum. This type of research is literature study research where the researcher examines and analyzes various theories and existing regulations related to the concept of an independent curriculum and how it is structured in early childhood education units. The research results show that the independent curriculum aligns with the concept of independent learning launched by the Minister of Education and Culture. When preparing an independent curriculum, what needs to be considered is the curriculum's basic framework and structure. National Education Standards as a reference and framework that has been translated into curriculum structure, learning principles, and assessment and learning outcomes. In the independent curriculum, the curriculum structure contains intracurricular activities to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki bagaimana karakter Islam disampaikan dan diserap oleh anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Al Hidayah Tlumpu, kota Blitar. Anak-anak pada usia ini berada pada tahap dongeng di mana imajinasi dan emosi mereka memainkan peran penting dalam penyerapan karakter agama. Pembelajaran karakter Islam di TK Al Hidayah Tlumpu dilakukan secara intensif, yang berpotensi memengaruhi perkembangan karakter agama mereka. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diuji menggunakan teknik triangulasi metode dan sumber. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran karakter Islam melibatkan perencanaan pembelajaran, pengorganisasian, penyampaian, dan pengelolaan. Enam faktor mempengaruhi guru dalam melaksanakan strategi tersebut, termasuk perkembangan anak, kompetensi dasar, bahan ajar, alokasi waktu, fasilitas pembelajaran, dan kemampuan guru. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang bagaimana pembelajaran karakter Islam diimplementasikan dalam konteks TK Al Hidayah Tlumpu. Implikasinya adalah bahwa strategi yang tepat dan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pembelajaran sangat penting dalam membentuk pemahaman agama anak-anak usia dini.

Abstract

Analisis strategi manajemen PAUD untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia tantangan utama yang masih dihadapi dalam implementasi strategi manajemen PAUD adalah kurangnya koordinasi antara lembaga pendidikan dan pemerintah dalam menetapkan standar mutu yang jelas. Penelitian ini membahas tentang berbagai alternatif Upaya peningkatan strategi manajemen PAUD untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Studi literatur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai penelitian terdahulu terkait strategi manajemen PAUD dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Menurut Creswell (2014), pendekatan kualitatif memungkinkan peneliti untuk memahami secara mendalam konsep, teori, serta praktik terbaik yang telah diterapkan dalam pengelolaan PAUD. Adapun hasil study literatur Bagi Kebijakan: Pemerintah dapat mempertimbangkan peningkatan anggaran untuk pelatihan guru dan penyediaan sarana belajar. Bagi Praktik Pendidikan: Lembaga PAUD dapat menerapkan strategi holistik dengan melibatkan orang tua dan memanfaatkan teknologi.

Abstract

Character formation in early childhood is a necessity that must be done by parents as family leaders. Because all parents want their children to have good character in life. This descriptive qualitative research with literature study discusses the formation of character in early childhood in the family environment. The data analysis technique uses content analysis by sorting out data according to the research objectives. This paper produces several things as follows. First, the role of parents or family in character building for early childhood, among others: parents must be role models for children, parents must be able to show empathy for children, parents must use good moments to build children's character, parents can tell stories and life, parents must be able to show pride in children, parents must be able to teach children to control themselves, and parents must give children opportunities to practice character actions. Second, tips for parents or families to form early childhood with good character, including consistent, continuous, and consistent, because children are influenced by the environment, temperament, and character. Third, the program that can be offered to families to build character for early childhood is parenting. The types of programs include family gatherings, foundation classes, seminars, consultation days, field trips, home activities, cooking on the spot, bazaar day, mini zoo, and home education videos

Abstract

Character building in early childhood requires a strategy. Without the right strategy, character building will be difficult to realize. This descriptive qualitative research with literature study examines the strategy of character building in early childhood. The data analysis technique uses analysis content by sorting out data according to the objectives and research problems. This paper produces the following things. First, the character development strategy in early childhood can be done in two ways, namely: (1) integration in daily activities, can be done by example, spontaneous activities, reprimand, environmental conditioning, and routine activities; (2) integration in programmed activities, which is carried out after the teacher first makes a plan for the values ​​that will be integrated in certain activities. Second, other strategies to develop character education include: applying learning methods that involve the active participation of students; create a conducive learning environment; provide explicit, systematic, and continuous character education; using teaching methods that take into account the uniqueness of each child; build supportive and caring relationships in the classroom and throughout the school; build positive behavior models; create opportunities for students to be active and meaningful, including in classroom and school life; and others

Abstract

Children’s school readiness is a critical factor in determining their future academic and social success. The transition from Early Childhood Education (ECE) to primary school often presents a significant challenge for young learners. At this stage, the role of parents and ECE institutions becomes crucial in ensuring children are adequately prepared to navigate this shift. Failure to achieve a smooth transition can result in anxiety, discomfort, and difficulties adapting to the new school environment. Therefore, special attention must be given to support children’s readiness for entering the next level of education. Purpose of the Study: The primary objective of strengthening the involvement of parents and ECE units in preparing children for school is to foster a positive and low-stress transition from early education to primary education. Methods: This initiative was carried out on September 12, 2024, using a combination of interactive dialogue, lectures, group discussions, and Q&A sessions. Results: Through awareness-building efforts directed at parents and ECE educators, children’s readiness for school can be enhanced by stimulating essential social, emotional, and academic competencies required in a primary school setting. (5) Conclusions: By conducting outreach to parents and teachers at Al Hidayah Kindergarten Sanankulon, this program aimed to facilitate a joyful and confident transition to primary school. As a result, children are expected to enter elementary school with a stronger sense of self-confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
