Abstract

The purpose of this final work is to visualize and preserve Minangkabau culturein West Sumatra into Serigraphy Graphic artwork. The Adu Kabau traditionhasbeen beginningto disappear in 1997 in West Sumatra because someunscrupulous people are notresponsible for gambling openly against the IslamicShari'a. Tradition Adu Kabau inMinangkabau is a buffalo that fights matchconducted for several traditional events suchas appointment of Nagari and alekNagari guardians through various processions of implementation. The theme ofthis work is Adu Kabau Tradition in Nagari Batu Palano in Graphic Arts.The method of creating this final paper uses five stages: preparation stage,elaboration stage, synthesis stage, concept realization stage,completion stageandexhibition of Graphic art work. Technique used is technique of Serigraphy.These tengraphic works revisited the procession of the Adu Kabau Traditionwhich is gettingdisappearing in West Sumatra due to the negative influence of the irresponsible parties.The tenth title of the work is: 1) Go away, 2) Preparation 3) Fighting 4). Abstract

In minangkabau mangosteen is tightly by philosophy of tradition that is as a symbol of leader honesty. The purpose of this finally project if to visualitation mongosteen as symbol of leader honesty in art graphic. Live side that raised is unbalanced the honesty in the leadership.Creating process of this finally project is using method cerigraphy by broken cliche type. Every picture that created is connected each other bicause of the same theme, idea and concept. After through a long prosess the creator is making a finally project by the tittle: 1) Terlalu berat, 2) Terikat, 3) Politik, 4) Berbeda 5) Diujung senja 6) Billiard, 7) Tak terbawa, 8) Bimbang, 9) Tak berarti, 10) Meleleh. By creating grapics art is hopefully to the member of art development in order to increase the spirit in artwork and also can be reference to make a graphic art be better in future.Key: mangosteen, graphic art, cerigraphy.

Abstract

This final work visualizes the rangrang Ant in the form of graphic art, to be able to shape social behavior. The visualization of the rangrang ant is expected to be able to have a positive influence, on the lives of oneself and society, through graphic print art (serigraphy). Abstract

The purpose of making this final works was to express about the mother’s love and a child, that becoming inspiration in this graphic’s art work with stencil print technique. The method of creating art works used five preparation’s stage. they were elaboration, synthesis, concepts’ realization and completion also the last stage was exhibition of graphic works. Abstract

The creation of this final work aims at how to visualize human as a person, need to learn from the barrage of effort in understanding the nature of themselves. Abstract

In the modern world of this hotel we have encountered many in particular in the city of Padang, the number of hotels is because most people travel far from their homes either for business or just go on holiday with family and friends, thus from various types of hotels in Padang city of course they have advantages and attractiveness of each in terms of design, facilities and in terms of service, so that the audience want to use the services they offer, where the purpose of the hotel is to gain profit and convenience. The purpose to provide satisfaction and comfort for the audience. The Garuda Hotel Company seeks to promote services that are expected to reach a broader target, for it needs a media campaign, which is a media used by companies to inform the public about the services offered so that the promotional media can be used in accordance with expectations. The results to be achieved is designing Garuda Hotel web design in Padang city that is easy to understand and understood by the target audience so that the message can be delivered to the target audience.Keywords : Designing, Web Design, Promotion, Hotel Garuda.

Abstract

The purpose of this final work are : (1) to design a media campaign that the system of private laundry customer service offered is better known and understood by the public. Moreover, the customer service system offered a private laundry is still new and is the only laundry that use such a system in the city of Padang (2) designing a media campaign that is more attractive to gain communicative, so that the message and purpose conveyed easy to understand and attract more target audience in order to engage the services of private laundry. The data about media in the promotion can be collected by using observation and interview. Result of final work is a brochures as the primary media that includes all information about private laundry, especially regarding customer service system that is in use. Keywords: private laundry, promotions, customer service, brochure

West Sumatera has many born a big heroes from other side like at defend direction, religius, education, art and culture. Because so many people that did know about ad did not known about of heroes National of west Sumatera and then needed a thing to remember of work them to country and state. The purpose of this script is (1) to design letter as thing of filately that imagine a paint about National heroes from west Sumatera (2) for more be introduce back to people heroes from west Sunatera, they are it depend our country, and as filately thing to letter fan. Abstract

Tradisional snacks in one component in everyday in life. Not only bacause of tradisional snackstaste good or unique color and appearance, but also because the tradisional snacks are valuable ancestral cultural heritage deriveed from earlier ancestors. But today’s current society has lost of modern snacks modern, then ignored tradisional snacks.The design of this book aims to remind the public to the importance of the existing tradisional hawker markets, necessitating, a variety of recipe books snacks that can assist in making tradisional snacks of processed foods, so the quality is safe and secure.Based on the results of various design book of tradisional recipes snacks can be a concern for people, especially those who have forgotten the kinds of snacks, so that with the book design of various recipes of tradisional snacks can make the community will get to know more of the snacks about their own tradisional snacks.Keyword: Design, Various Recipe Books Snacks, Padang City
