Abstract

Early Childhood Islamic Education is considered very necessary to provide donations and energy to improve the memory of knowledge about how to wash hands for PAUD children in Ulak Ketapang village as an educational solution for young people in the region. Therefore the programs that are arranged are expected to have added value to the community, not only in physical form but also in the form of increased motivation to learn in the community especially the young generation in the Regular KKN location. This study was descriptive qualitative research. The data are collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Then the data were analyzed in three steps, 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, 3) concluding/ verification. The results of this research shows that indicate by using guessing numbers, children can calculate directly the existing numbers. In accordance with the thinking of children which are concrete, children need to be presented with learning that can be seen directly. They can observe and follow the guessing game numbers presented by the teacher.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan agama Islam memiliki peran krusial dalam membentuk pemahaman individu tentang nilai-nilai dan konsep-konsep agama islam. Dalam konteks globalisasi yang terus berkembang, kebutuhan akan pemahaman yang inklusif terhadap keragaman agama semakin mendesak. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi potensi integrasi konsep Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) ke dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep agama. Melalui pendekatan analisis SWOT, kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman dari penerapan strategi pembelajaran ini dieksplorasi secara mendalam. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa SRL memungkinkan siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan belajar mandiri, meningkatkan refleksi diri, dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari mereka. Namun, tantangan seperti tingkat kemandirian siswa yang beragam dan kebutuhan akan dukungan guru yang kuat juga diidentifikasi. Berdasarkan temuan ini, beberapa rekomendasi diberikan, termasuk pengembangan kurikulum yang lebih terintegrasi dengan SRL, pelatihan guru yang lebih intensif, dan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman tentang bagaimana pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis SRL dapat digunakan secara efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep agama Islam, serta menawarkan panduan bagi pendidik dan peneliti dalam menghadapi tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang dalam konteks pendidikan agama Islam.Abstract: Islamic religious education is crucial in shaping an individual's understanding of Islamic values and concepts. In the context of ever-evolving globalization, the need for an inclusive sense of religious diversity is increasingly urgent. This article explores the potential integration of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning as a solution to improve understanding of religious concepts. The strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of implementing this learning strategy are explored in depth through a SWOT analysis approach. The results show that SRL allows students to develop self-study skills, enhance self-reflection, and integrate religious values into their daily lives. However, challenges such as diverse levels of student independence and the need for solid teacher support were also identified. Based on these findings, several recommendations were given, including developing a curriculum that is more integrated with SRL, more intensive teacher training, and integrating technology in Learning. This article contributes to understanding how SRL-based learning approaches can be used effectively to enhance understanding of Islamic religious concepts, as well as offer guidance for educators and researchers facing challenges and seizing opportunities in the context of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan Islam telah menjadi aspek fundamental dalam masyarakat Muslim, membentuk nilai, keyakinan, dan perilaku individu. Di era kontemporer, lanskap pendidikan berkembang pesat, menuntut refleksi terhadap kondisi terkini dan proyeksi masa depan pendidikan Islam agar tetap relevan dan transformatif. Artikel ini mengkaji perubahan pendidikan Islam melalui analisis literatur dan SWOT, serta menyoroti kebutuhan integrasi subjek modern seperti sains, teknologi, teknik, seni, dan matematika dalam kerangka pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur yang dikumpulkan dari database akademik seperti Google Scholar, JSTOR, dan ProQuest. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode SWOT untuk menilai kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam menghadapi tantangan signifikan seperti kurangnya inovasi metode pengajaran, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan akses yang tidak merata ke pendidikan berkualitas. Namun, terdapat peluang besar dalam kemajuan teknologi, peningkatan kesadaran global, dan potensi kemitraan dengan institusi internasional. Transformasi pendidikan Islam membutuhkan inovasi dalam metode pengajaran, adopsi pendekatan interaktif dan kontekstual, serta pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan relevansi pendidikan. Pendidikan Islam juga harus menjawab isu sosial kontemporer seperti keadilan sosial, keberlanjutan lingkungan, dan kepemimpinan etis, sehingga siswa dapat berkembang menjadi warga global yang bertanggung jawab dengan integritas moral dan spiritual yang kuat. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada diskusi akademik mengenai pendidikan Islam dan mendorong praktik pendidikan yang lebih adaptif dan transformatif.Abstract: Islamic education has been a fundamental aspect of Muslim society, shaping individuals' values, beliefs, and behaviors. In the contemporary era, the educational landscape is rapidly evolving, demanding reflection on the current state and future projections of Islamic education to remain relevant and transformative. This article examines changes in Islamic education through literature analysis and SWOT, highlighting the need for integrating modern subjects such as science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics within the Islamic education framework. The research employs a qualitative approach with literature studies collected from academic databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, and ProQuest. Data is analyzed using the SWOT method to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Islamic education. The findings reveal that Islamic education faces significant challenges such as a lack of innovative teaching methods, limited resources, and unequal access to quality education. However, there are substantial opportunities in technological advancements, increasing global awareness, and potential partnerships with international institutions. Transforming Islamic education requires innovation in teaching methods, adopting interactive and contextual approaches, and utilizing information and communication technology to enhance engagement and educational relevance. Islamic education must also address contemporary social issues such as social justice, environmental sustainability, and ethical leadership, enabling students to develop into responsible global citizens with strong moral and spiritual integrity. This article aims to contribute to the academic discussion on Islamic education and encourage more adaptive and transformative educational practices.

Abstract

Charismatic leadership has been a significant focus of research in the educational leadership literature, especially in the context of school principals. This article presents a systematic analysis of the concept of charismatic leadership, its implications, and its impact on the school environment. Through qualitative methods using literature analysis, we identify traits, impacts, and strategies of charismatic leadership. The findings show that charismatic principals have a strong vision, practical communication skills, high self-confidence, empathy, and personal influence that positively influence the attitudes and behaviours of staff and students. The impact includes increased motivation, academic performance, and a positive school culture, with strategies such as developing a solid vision, building trust, empowering staff, participation in decision-making, and being a role model. These findings provide an in-depth understanding of the role of charismatic leadership in improving the quality of education and creating supportive learning environments. Practical implications include the development of leadership training programs and a better understanding for education policymakers of the importance of charismatic characteristics in school leadership. This research fills a gap in the literature by highlighting the critical role of charismatic leadership in educational contexts, particularly in developing countries, as well as emphasizing the need for more research involving the perspectives of teachers and school staff.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at 23 Palembang Junior High School. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, namely research methods that describe the state/object of research (a person, community institution, etc.) at the present time based on the facts that appear as they are. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The implementation of online learning can be seen from 1) providing motivation to teachers; 2) direction of the principal to teachers and staff; 3) coordination between the principal and teachers or fellow teachers; and 4) good principal communication with teachers. Factors supporting the implementation of online learning, namely 1) schools facilitate WiFi for teachers to support the online learning process while the teacher is at school; 2) teachers are able to make learning videos or find learning resources from various media; 3) provide free internet quota every month to students; 4) students are able to adapt to online learning applications, such as Google Classroom and Zoom. The inhibiting factors are 1) constrained by signal and limited internet quota; 2) unstable internet network.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang manajemen pemasaran pendidikan yang dilakukan oleh MTs Al-Ikhlas, serta faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan kunci dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, dan informan pendukungnya adalah tenaga pendidik, tenaga kependidikan, siswa dan masyarakat sekitar sekolah MTs Al-Ikhlas. Hasil peneltian ini menujukan bahwa MTs Al-Ikhlas telah menerapkan manajemen pemasaran pendidikan yang cukup baik, yaitu 1) beberapa program dan pelayanan yang ditawarkan dapat menarik minat masyarakat; 2) kegiatan promosi yang dilakukan sekolah cukup baik dan dibentuk tim khusus untuk mempromosikan pendidikan; dan 3) Kegiatan promosi yang dilakukan sekolah yaitu memasang spanduk, menyebar brosur, memasang iklan dan sosialisai ke sekolahan lain. Faktor pendukung pemasaran pendidikan, yaitu 1) memiliki biaya yang terjangkau; 2) kualitas tenaga pendidik dan kependidikan yang baik; dan 3) Lokasi yang strategis. Faktor penghambatnya, yaitu 1) ketatnya persaingan; dan 2) kurangnya dana untuk promosi pendidikan.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Muslim families in children's education regarding environmental ethics. It aims to understand how Muslim parents' integration of Islamic values such as amanah, caliphate, and tawhid can effectively instill awareness and pro-environmental behavior in children. This research explores various parenting methods, including stories from the Qur'an and Hadith, practical activities like gardening and recycling, and discussions and reflections on environmental issues using the literature review method. The findings reveal that children educated with this approach exhibit high ecological awareness and proactive behavior in ecological conservation. However, challenges such as lack of knowledge and resources and differences in cultural and geographical contexts affect the effectiveness of this education. The study concludes that there is a need for support from formal education institutions and communities to strengthen environmental education at home. With the right approach and adequate support, environmental education based on Islamic values has excellent potential to form a generation that cares about the environment. This research provides important insights for developing holistic environmental education programs rooted in religious values.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran perencanaan strategis dalam meningkatkan mutu kelulusan serta unsur pendukung dan penghambat. Kepala sekolah menjadi narasumber utama dalam penelitian kualitatif ini, dengan perspektif siswa dan instruktur sebagai informan pendukung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan adalah tiga dari pendekatan analisis data yang digunakan bersama-sama. Berdasarkan temuan studi tersebut, SMAN 1 Semende Darat Laut telah melakukan persiapan strategis yang baik untuk meningkatkan kualitas lulusannya. Hal ini terlihat dari perencanaan strategis yang telah diselesaikan, termasuk peningkatan kemampuan guru, inisiatif pendidikan baru, peningkatan sarana dan prasarana, dan pertumbuhan ekstrakurikuler. Keinginan untuk mendorong pendidikan berkelanjutan, kepemimpinan yang baik antara pemimpin dan bawahan, dan semua instruktur bergelar sarjana adalah elemen yang mendukung. Kurangnya sumber daya, infrastruktur, dan waktu untuk kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, sebaliknya, adalah masalah yang menghambat siswa untuk lulus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of learning theories in education according to psychological development. The method used is a literature review. Based on the researcher's analysis results, it is known that the flow of learning theories has different characteristics, even if the results are emphasized more than the learning process. Examples are 1) the cognitive flow, which emphasizes the learning process; 2) the humanistic school, which emphasizes the content of the lesson; 3) The flow of cybernetics which emphasizes the information system of the material being studied, and many other theories with unique characteristics. The different characteristics of various learning theories are due to 1) different types of learning, 2) learning motivation is low and has many stages, and 3) learning has the nature of skills and abilities and is rational. So to assess whether the opinions conveyed by various experts are accurate based on the flow of learning theory, it can be seen from the unique characteristics appropriate to the learning types.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penggunaan media sosial dalam konteks pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti telah menjadi topik yang semakin relevan dan penting dalam era digital saat ini. Media sosial memberikan platform yang memungkinkan siswa dan guru untuk berbagi sumber daya, berdiskusi, dan berkolaborasi dalam pemahaman dan praktik Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti. Media sosial juga memungkinkan penggunaan berbagai sumber daya seperti video, teks, gambar, dan artikel terkait yang dapat memperkaya pembelajaran. Namun, penggunaan media sosial dalam konteks pendidikan juga menimbulkan sejumlah tantangan seperti risiko privasi, masalah keamanan, dan pengawasan yang diperlukan untuk menjaga lingkungan pembelajaran yang aman. Dalam kesimpulannya, penggunaan media sosial dalam pembelajaran kolaboratif mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang nilai-nilai agama dan etika, serta meningkatkan perilaku moral. Namun, penggunaan media sosial perlu diintegrasikan dengan bijak dan dengan perhatian terhadap isu-isu keamanan dan privasi.
