Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui evaluasi pembelajaran online berbasis Moodle pada mata kuliah Sistem Operasi dari aspek: (1) Kemampuan mahasiswa memakai Moodle; (2) Kemampuan dosen memakai Moodle; dan (3) Keaktifan komunikasi mahasiswa dan dosen dalam penggunaan Moodle pada mata kuliah Sistem Operasi. Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa dan dosen yang terkait dengan mata kuliah Sistem Operasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan: (1) Angket, untuk memperoleh informasi dari mahasiswa; (2) Dokumentasi, yaitu menganbil data log pada Moodle; dan (3) Wawancara, untuk memperoleh data dari dosen pengampu berkaitan dengan kemampuan dan aktivitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Mahasiswa mampu menggunakan fitur seperti mengunduh materi, mengunggah tugas, quiz secara online; (2) Dosen sudah mampu menggunakan fitur dasar Moodle; dan (3) keaktifan mahasiswa dan dosen masih kurang karena belum optimal menggunakan komunikasi melalui fitur forum dan chatting yang ada di Moodle. AbstractThe purpose of this research was to determine the evaluation of Moodle-based online learning in the Operating Systems course in aspects of: (1) The ability of students to use Moodle; (2) The ability of lecturers to use Moodle; and (3) The activeness of student and lecturer communication in the use of Moodle in the Operating Systems course. The research method was descriptive. Research subjects were students and lecturers related to the Operating Systems course. Data collection techniques used: (1) Questionnaire, to obtain information from students; (2) Documentation, which is to take log data on Moodle; and (3) Interviews, to obtain data from supporting lecturers related to abilities and activities. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) Students were able to use features such as downloading material, uploading assignments, quizzes online; (2) Lecturers have been able to use the basic features of Moodle; and (3) the activeness of students and lecturers is still lacking because it is not yet optimal in using communication through the forum and chat features available in Moodle.

Abstract

An Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card is a type of credit card that is a transaction tool, especially in trading. Payment activities can be done at various service providers because banks have multifunctional ATM cards. Payment transactions can be done through the internet today, but it can cause problems of crime in both the real world and the virtual world. To solve this problem, the ATM card number is designed to be verified first before the related bank verification number. The method is called the check method on a combination of numbers known as the check digit algorithm. This study uses the Luhn Algorithm to prove the validity of the ATM card used as a transaction. The goal is to find out the authenticity of the digit number of an ATM card and avoid fraud such as counterfeiting the digit number of an ATM card. Based on the tests conducted, it is concluded that the Luhn algorithm can be used as an effective input data validation technique. This is an initial check before users make transactions using ATM cards to avoid misuse and fraud of ATM card data by irresponsible parties. Kartu Automated Teller Machine (ATM) merupakan salah satu jenis kartu kredit yang menjadi alat transaksi khususnya dalam perdagangan. Aktivitas pembayaran dapat dilakukan pada berbagai penyedia jasa layanan karena bank telah memultifungsikan kartu ATM. Transaksi pembayaran dapat dilakukan melalui internet saat ini, namun dapat menimbulkan masalah terjadinya kejahatan baik di dunia nyata maupun dunia maya. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, nomor kartu ATM dirancang untuk diverifikasi terlebih dahulu sebelum nomor verifikasi bank terkait. Metode disebut metode cek pada kombinasi angka yang dikenal dengan algoritma cek digit. Penelitian ini menggunakan Algoritma Luhn untuk membuktikan keabsahan kartu ATM yang dipakai sebagai transaksi. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengetahui keaslian nomor digit dari sebuah kartu ATM dan menghindari penipuan seperti pemalsuan nomor digit dari sebuah kartu ATM. Berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan menyimpulkan bahwa Algoritma Luhn dapat digunakan sebagai sebuah teknik validasi data masukan yang efektif. Ini sebagai awal pengecekan sebelum pengguna melakukan transaksi menggunakan kartu ATM untuk menghindari penyalahgunaan dan penipuan data kartu ATM oleh pihak-pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

In this study, collaborative learning based on a virtual laboratory was developed because the existing model did not integrate collaborative learning with a virtual laboratory. The research step begins with designing a virtual laboratory portal with Moodle software to provide practical management services. The trial was carried out by running an online collaborative practice by implementing the Breadboard Simulator and the TeamViewer application. The research subjects were 30 students of the DIII Electrical Engineering study program. The data collection instrument used a student perception questionnaire on student perceptions about instructional aspects. Descriptive analysis was carried out using the criteria for the level of perception. The results showed that the virtual laboratory-based collaborative learning model had a positive perception of the instructional aspect and increased student motivation in carrying out practical activities

Abstract

In this study, a virtual laboratory is used for Digital Electronics Practice courses which are carried out online. The research step begins with designing a virtual laboratory portal with Moodle E-Learning software to provide practice management services. The trial was carried out by running an online collaborative practice by applying the Breadboard Simulator and the TeamViewer application. The research subjects were 20 students of the Electrical Engineering Diploma III study program. The data collection instrument used a student perception questionnaire on the instructional aspect and a student perception questionnaire on the appearance of the learning model and ease of operation. Descriptive analysis was carried out using perception level criteria. The results showed that the virtual laboratory-based Digital System practice learning model had a positive perception of the instructor aspect, the learning model display aspect and ease of operation as well as increasing student motivation in carrying out practical activities.

Abstract

Sistem kendali lampu lalu lintas (Lampu lalu lintas ) mengambil peran penting dalam memberikan pengaturan yang lebih baik dan mengontrol arus lalu lintas. Strategi yang lebih baik dalam pengendalian arus lalu lintas dapat meningkatkan pergerakan kendaraan dengan mempersingkat waktu perjalanan. Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat alat Lampu lalu lintas dengan gerbang logika. Perancangan peralatan menggunakan sistem tata lampu lalu lintas simpang empat fase yang berarti akan ada empat lampu hijau yang akan menyala secara bergantian dan empat lampu merah yang 3 hidup bersamaan. Tahap desain dimulai dari perancangan perangkat keras yang mengacu pada sistem blok diagram, selanjutnya program dibuat sesuai dengan perencanaan. Sensor Infra merah adalah komponen elektronika yang dapat mengidentifikasi cahaya infra merah (infra red, IR). Sensor infra merah atau detektor infra merah saat ini ada yang dibuat khusus dalam satu modul dan dinamakan sebagai IR Detector Photomodules. IR Detector Photomodules merupakan sebuah chip detektor infra merah digital yang di dalamnya terdapat fotodiode dan penguat (amplifier). Hasil pengujian alat ini menunjukkan LED dan seven segment yang ditampilkan akan menyala sesuai masukan sensor

Abstract

The development of information technology is growing so rapidly, so that many sophisticated telecommunications or communication tools have emerged such as television, cellular, radio, telegram and so on, but there are still written applications that cannot be forgotten until now. This written application is still used as if it cannot be replaced by various sophisticated communication equipment, namely letters. The use of letters is still found in many institutions, but there are still errors in the management process, especially at the Nahdlatul Ulama University, West Sumatra. with the background of the problem, the author will design an E-Office application at the Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Sumatra. The E-Office application is an online correspondence application that aims to help facilitate mail management activities at the Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Sumatra. This digital system is present as a solution to the problems that arise in the correspondence process which is still done manually at the Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Sumatra, so that the correspondence process at the Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Sumatra is still slow in its management. By building an E-Office application at the Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Sumatra, hopefully it can help, speed up and make it easier for the Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Sumatra to process correspondence. In making this E-Office application, the applications used are XAMPP, PHP, Database and other supporting applications.

Abstract

This study investigated the design of learning in a virtual laboratory through collaborative inquiry and its effect on student knowledge. Learning design produces learning models that are measured based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research method uses research and development that produces products and product effectiveness. The trial results were conducted on a small scale on eight students to measure the quality of student learning. To test the validity of the product through expert assistance, all the answers of the validator were calculated using Aiken's V validity coefficient. Further findings implied that students have begun to accept technology as a learning tool and provided opportunities for universities in learning development.

Abstract

Based on the author's observations, the learning method at SMKN 5, a conventional learning system, still dominates Padang.Conventional learning systems and student learning outcomes have not been satisfactory, including in IPL subjects. Satisfactory, including in IPL subjects. This research aims to determine whether student learning outcomes using cooperative learning type STAD is better than conventional learning. This research hypothesizes that IPL learning outcomes of students using STAD-type cooperative learning are better than those of conventional learning. is better than IPL learning outcomes of students who use conventional learning in class XI of the Electrical The learning outcomes of students using STAD-type cooperative learning are better than those using conventional learning in class XI of the Electrical Department of SMKN 5 Padang. This research is experimental with the design model Randomized Control group-only design model. The sample of this study was students from class XI L2, which was the experimental class, and XIL3, the control class. Experimental class and XIL3 as a control class. The research instrument was a test. Data In this study, the data were processed using SPSS version 23.0 software. From the results of the study obtained the average learning outcomes of experimental class students are greater than those of the control class and from the t-test results obtained t-test results obtained a t value that was more significant than the t table; this means that STAD-type cooperative learning is better than conventional learning. STAD-type cooperative learning is better than conventional learning. In this research, This study also revealed that the learning completeness of experimental class students was also more significant than that of the control class.

Abstract

The technological transformation in educational media has driven significant changes in teaching and learning processes, particularly highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which underscored the importance of adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an assistive tool in developing more effective online learning materials. This community service program was conducted in collaboration with SMAN 3 Padang Panjang, involving 22 teachers from grades X to XII as participants. The program was designed in three main phases: (1) preparation and field observation, (2) field implementation, and (3) evaluation. Evaluation results indicate that teachers demonstrate high behavioral intention and willingness to use AI in their teaching practices. The average scores on the behavioral intention aspect suggest that teachers are inclined to recommend and intend to use AI in the future, while on the willingness-to-use aspect, teachers are willing to dedicate time to learning and overcoming challenges related to AI usage. These findings suggest that AI-based training is effective in enhancing teachers' readiness and commitment to integrating technology into the teaching process, thereby potentially strengthening educational quality in the digital era
