Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) pada mata kuliah pada perkuliahan pembelajaran tematik integrated tema lingkungan di PGSD FKIP Universitas Bengkulu melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL). Penelitian tindakan ini dilakukan pada mahasiwa semester VII Tahun Akademik 2019/2020 dengan jumlah mahasiswa sebanyak 40 orang. Pelaksanan penelitian dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Data yang dikumpulkan dalam penelitian berupa data tanggapan mahasiswa setelah penelitian dan data kemampuan mengembangkan RPP tematik integrative tema lingkungan. Isntrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tanggapan mahasiswa dan lembar penilaian kemampuan mengembangkan RPP. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan deskriptif presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tanggapan positif dari mahasiswa terkait pelaksanaan model Pembelajaran PJBL serta adanya peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun RPP pada setiap pertemuan. Mahasiwa telah dianggap mampu dalam menyusun RPP tema lingkungan dengan sangat baik.

Abstract

Elementary students' critical thinking skills are one of the components developed in 21st Century learning. However, these critical thinking skills are still very shallow and far from expectations. It was proven by the results of international surveys that show low average scores. Likewise, the results of the pretest critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students in 2 elementary schools in Sukabumi Regency showed a low average value. This study aims to determine the increase in students' critical thinking skills in learning to read comprehension through the use of the FIVES Model and Guided Reading Model in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. The research method uses quasi-experimental with Static Group Pretest-Postest Design. The subject of the research was fifth-grade elementary school students. SDN 4 Cicurug implements the FIVES Model, and SDN 2 Purwasari implements the Guided Reading Model. The results showed that the use of these two models could improve the critical thinking skills of elementary students. However, the increase in students' critical thinking skills through the FIVES Model compared to the Guided Reading Model in reading comprehension in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activity and learning outcomes of grade V students at SDN 07 Bengkulu City by applying the Numbered Head Together cooperative learning model. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this study were teachers and students with a total of 28. The research instruments were observation sheets and test questions. Observation data analysis techniques use the average score formula, the highest score, the lowest score, the difference between the scores and the range of values ​​for each criterion. The test data uses the formula for the average value and percentage of learning completeness. The results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II, this was obtained from the results of the average teacher activity score of 31.5 increasing to 43.5 while the results of student activity scores obtained an average of 31.5 increasing to 43.5. The results of the evaluation test on Indonesian language content obtained an average score of 71.42 with classical completeness of 64.28%, increasing to 81 and classical completeness of 85.71%. Science content obtained an average score of 72.85 with classical completeness of 64.28%, increasing to 80 and classical completeness of 85.71%. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Numbered Head Together model can increase activity and learning outcomes in thematic learning for class V SDN 07 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the influence of flipbook media on the procedural text writing skill of fifth grade students in cluster VIII Bengkulu City. This research was quantitative research with quasi-experimental research methods and the type of design The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study was fifth grade students in cluster VIII Bengkulu City. The sample was a student of SDN V grade 34 Kota Bengkulu as an experimental class and students of VB SDN 36 Kota Bengkulu as a control class obtained through a cluster random sampling. The data collection technique were pre-test and post-test which were designed in the form of essay question with indicators of suitability of content, structure, writing rules and linguistic characteristic. The results showed that thitung > ttable (3,243 > 2,015) and Sig.(2-tailed) 0.002 < 0.05. This data suggests that there are significant differences in the procedural text writing skill in the experimental group and the control group due to the different treatment of the two classes, by using the flipbook media on experimental groups and not using flipbook media on control groups. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Ha was accepted, which means there was an influence of flipbook media on the procedural text writing skill of fifth grade students in cluster VIII Bengkulu City.

Abstract

his study aims to determine the effect of using the Index Card Match learning model assisted by Flash Cards on grade IV Indonesian language learning outcomes in SD Negeri Gugus III Bengkulu city. This research is a type of quantitative research with the research method, namely the Quasi Experiment method with the research design The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were 4th grade students of SD Negeri Gugus III Bengkulu City. The research sample was taken using random sampling technique, obtained fourth grade students of SD Negeri 57 Bengkulu City as the experimental group and fourth grade students of SD Negeri 48 Bengkulu City as the control group. The instrument used was a multiple choice test sheet totaling 10 questions. Implementation of the test twice, namely before and after learning takes place in the experimental class and control class. From the results of the t-test calculation of students' posttest scores, sig (2-tailed) 0.002 is smaller than 0.05. It shows that there is a difference in posttest results between the experimental class and the control class due to the treatment of the two different classes. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of using the Index Card Match learning model assisted by Flash Cards on the learning outcomes of Indonesian language class IV in SD Negeri Gugus III Bengkulu City.

Abstract

 The research aims to describe the intrinsic aspects related to the theme, plot, setting, characters, and moral values in the story "Terbentuknya Nama Lebong" from the book "Cerita Rakyat Rejang by Ekorusyono and Rosyadi. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with the subject of the research being the book itself. The researcher serves as the main instrument, supported by a descriptive story guide. The story follows the theme of cooperation and sacrifice, with the main characters being the Four Bikhus: Biku Sepanjang Jiwo, Biku Bembo, Biku Bejenggo, and Biku Bermano, as well as additional characters such as the white monkey, seven teenage girls, and their children. The setting is in the Renah Seklawi region in the past, with a social context influenced by social status and spiritual beliefs. The plot follows a progressive path, while the moral values revolve around unity and sacrifice as a means to overcome challenges and disasters. In line with the characteristics of children's literature, the story avoids sensitive topics such as sexuality, hatred, or violence. The simple presentation of the story makes it easier for children to understand the moral message, and allows them to apply it in their daily lives. In conclusion, "Terbentuknya Nama Lebong" is suitable for children's literature and contributes to the understanding of moral values through a narrative that can be enjoyed by readers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between student participation in scout extracurricular activities and the self-confidence of students at SDN 71 Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative research using quantitative correlational research methods. The population in this study were class IV students at SDN 71 Bengkulu City who took part in scout extracurriculars. In this study, sampling used a total sampling technique, namely the entire population was sampled, the sample in this study was 32 people. The research instrument uses a closed questionnaire using a Likert scale. The data analysis used is a prerequisite test using the normality test, correlation analysis, namely the variable significance test and the coefficient of determination test. The results of this research show that there is a significant relationship between student participation in scout extracurricular activities and self- confidence. These results are proven by the sig* (2-tailed) value of 0.002 with a Pearson correlation value of 0.534, a sign that the regression coefficient is positive. The variable size of student participation in scout extracurricular activities on the self-confidence variable is 26.8%. This means that it can be concluded that there is a relationship between student participation in scout extracurricular activities and the self-confident attitude of students at SDN 71 Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Abstrak: Di Indonesia anak Down Syndrome saat ini diperkirakan berjumlah 300.000 orang dan sebagian di antaranya saat ini sedang menempuh pendidikan di jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Salah satu masalah akademik anak penderita Down Syndrome adalah kemampuan membaca yang rendah. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan analisis kebutuhan desain pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan teknologi bagi anak penderita Down Syndrome ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research), data dikumpulkan berdasarkan informasi yang diperoleh melalui buku sumber, artikel penelitian juga informasi lainnya yang diperoleh melalui perpustakaan juga internet. Dari hasil pengumpulan informasi kepustakaan yang dilakukan, diperoleh informasi bahwa perkembangan kemampuan berbahasa anak sekolah dasar dengan Down Syndrome, yang berbeda dari anak normal. Kesadaran fonologis, pemahaman membaca, dan keterampilan naratif dan pemahaman membaca adalah keterbatasan utama yang ditemukan. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan unik anak-anak dengan Down Syndrome sangat penting. Penggunaan teknologi, terutama video game seluler, telah terbukti meningkatkan kemampuan fisik, kognitif, dan memori anak-anak dengan Down Syndrome. Dengan antarmuka yang mudah digunakan, instruksi yang mudah dipahami, dan fitur yang dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna, pengajaran game mobile ini dapat digunakan. Abstract:  An estimated 300,000 children in Indonesia are thought to have Down Syndrome, and some of them are presently enrolled in elementary school. Low reading skills is one of the academic issues that children with Down Syndrome. For this reason, an examination of the requirements for technology-integrated learning designs for kids with Down Syndrome must be done. The data for this study was gathered using a library research methodology, drawing on information found in source books, research articles, and other online and library resources. The findings of the information gathered from libraries indicate that elementary school children with Down Syndrome do not develop their language abilities in the same way as typical children. The primary limits identified are phonological awareness, reading comprehension, narrative skills, and reading comprehension. This study demonstrates the critical importance of education that is customized to meet the special requirements of kids with Down Syndrome. It has been demonstrated that children with Down Syndrome benefit physically, cognitively, and in terms of memory when they utilize technology, particularly mobile video games. This mobile game teaching can be utilized since it has an easy-to-use interface, clear instructions, and features that can be adjusted to the needs of the user.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah mahasiswa yang lemah dan menarik untuk menjadi topik permasalahan untuk dikaji terutama dalam hal mengevaluasi dan mengkonstruksi pemikirannya dalam menjawab permasalahan dan solusinya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan argumentasi mahasiswa setelah mengikuti model pembelajaran Project Based Learningpada mata kuliah Keterampilan Berbahasa. Penilaian kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah dilakukan dengan instrumen tes essai yang diberikan kepada mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah mahasiswa Prodi S-1 PGSD FKIP Universitas Bengkulu pada mata kuliah Keterampilan berbahasa memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 65,63% dengan kriteria cukup. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengadakan variasi strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah.Kata Kunci: Argumentasi Ilmiah, Model PjBL, Pembelajaran       Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that students' weak and attractive scientific argumentation skills become a topic of problems to be studied, especially in terms of evaluating and constructing their thinking in answering problems and solutions. The purpose of this study was to describe students' argumentative skills after following the project-based learning model in the Language Skills course. Assessment of scientific argumentation skills is carried out using essay test instruments given to students. The results showed the ability of scientific argumentation of students of the Elementary School Education program, University of Bengkulu  in the language skills course obtained an average score of 65.63% with sufficient criteria. The results of this study can be used as a reference for further research to carry out a variety of learning strategies to improve the ability of scientific argumentation.Keywords: Scientific Argumentation Skill, Project-Based Learning Model, Learning
