According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in South Korea in 2024, around **** percent of respondents stated that they did not subscribe to Subscription-Video-on-Demand (SVoD) or video streaming service providers because it was too expensive. Other reasons included having free or cheaper access to shows elsewhere and not being interested in the shows offered by the service.
