In July 2021, most UK consumer that used buy now, pay later had a balance of less than 100 GBP. ** percent of buy now, pay later (BNPL) users in the United Kingdom said that they could not easily afford their payments. However, most respondents considered that they could indeed afford their BNPL payments easily. In 2022, approximately a third of U.S. BNPL users had missed one or more payments.
