According to a consumer survey from 2019, cheaper price was the main motivator for most of Finnish respondents to use foreign websites for online purchases. Other common reasons for shopping on foreign online shops were better product availability (** percent), and affordable delivery costs (** percent). Around ten percent of the respondents said that the preferred website was not available in Finland or that the delivery time from abroad was quick.
