NO FAVE WITHOUT COMMENT PLEASE! // DISTINCTIVE FINCH, and a familiar garden resident in many parts of the U.K. The greenfinch has a relatively large, pinkish and conical bill. In all plumages, the yellowish patch on the wings- seen as a yellow bar on the closed wing. Greenfinches are associated with parks, gardens and hedgerows, resident all year round, A beautiful bird that is in charge, when it gets to the feeder, excluding smaller species.

WIDESPREAD RESIDENT in woodlands throughout southern England and Wales, excavates timber by drilling with its bill, love watching there undulating flight, and a real joy to see this male at work.

SUMMER VISITOR, to the region, observation tips, visit almost any large reedbed in southern England, and you should hear a sharp tche call, and if your very lucky they occasionally clamber up the reed stems to sing. .............

INCESSANT TRILLING, and fluty song generally delivered in flight, a joy to see and hear. Invariably associated with grassy habitats, from meadows, moors and heaths to arable farmland. The species has declined alarmingly in many parts.

O falcão-de-coleira é um falcão campestre com ampla distribuição nas Américas, em ecossistemas abertos, os quais favorece.

DELIGHTFUL bird of wayside habitats, as above the male is colourful and distinctive, outside breeding season, linnets form flocks, and are resident all year round. This was seen on dead bramble, at the Ancient highway, Sandwich bay, Kent, U.K.

Failed to get a more attractive background on this one!
