Zack and Quack is an animated preschool series broadcasted on Nick Jr.. The show follows a 7-year-old boy named Zack, with his best-friend Quack (who is a duck) and 8-year-old Kira, as they go on many amazing adventures with friends from various pages of the most amazing pop-up book ever!
Tropes:
- Art Shift: When Zack, Quack, and Kira go on adventures in other parts of the book, other characters will be noticeably flatter and paper-like, rather than the three-dimensional look of the main characters.
- Deus ex Machina: In the form of pop-up switches. These seem to pop up when most convenient to the characters' journey.
- Hollywood Tone-Deaf: In "Banana Pops", during a singing competition to see who's the "loudest", Zack and Quack sing a duet that causes all the animals to cover their ears due to their loud (and annoying) singing voices.
- Paper People: As Art Shift said, the rest of the characters are as thin as paper.
- Toothy Bird: Quack is shown to have teeth on many occasions, especially while smiling.
