If the player character dominates the Netherbrain by the end of the game, one of the epilogue options has them continue what the Chosen of the Dead Three started by unleashing a new wave of conquest across Faerûn, establishing that the Cult of the Absolute has been reborn anew, now entirely under the player character's control.
