This community service activity aims to enhance students' awareness and role as agents of change ... more This community service activity aims to enhance students' awareness and role as agents of change in the development of human resources towards the Golden Indonesia 2045. The seminar held at SMA Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Metro on January 6, 2025, involved 150 students. The method used was an educational approach involving leadership training, group discussions, and providing materials about the importance of students' contribution to social change. The results of this activity showed an increase in students' understanding of social responsibility and leadership, as well as the emergence of local leaders among students who are ready to actively contribute to society. Additionally, this activity successfully changed students' behavior in increasing social participation and their awareness of the importance of sustainable development. This seminar is expected to serve as a model for wider community service activities in the future, involving more student communities in realizing the Golden Indonesia 2045.

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are business units that are jointly owned and managed by the v... more Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) are business units that are jointly owned and managed by the village government and the local community. The establishment of BUMDES aims to exploit economic potential and improve the welfare of village communities. One of the BUMDes highlighted in this study is BUMDes Loh Jinawi which is located in Tunjungmuli Village, Karangmoncol District, Purbalingga Regency. In its development, Tunjungmuli Village is still faced with geographical challenges and inadequate infrastructure. BUMDes Loh Jinawi manages four main business units, namely Pertashop, Pamsimas, Markets, and innovations in the agricultural sector so that they can meet the basic needs of the community. Pertashop provides access to fuel, Pamsimas ensures clean water supply, Markets support local trade, and agricultural units increase food security and farmer incomes through sustainable practices. These initiatives have significantly improved the quality of life and economic opportunities for local residents, especially farmer groups. Through participatory management and community involvement, BUMDes Loh Jinawi has fostered a sense of belonging among residents while overcoming socioeconomic challenges. The authors contributed by facilitating observations, workshops and mentoring to improve BUMDes operations. In a series of community service activities, it was found that optimizing the management of BUMDes Loh Jinawi can be done in two ways, namely assisting with management practices to increase access to basic services and empowering the surrounding community economically and socially. This study provides a replicable model for sustainable rural development.

Internet Network is one of the fields in informatics and electronics engineering which i... more Internet Network is one of the fields in informatics and electronics engineering which is now growing rapidly due to the issue of the industrial revolution 4.0 which is increasingly closely related to Cloud computing technology and the Internet of Things. Without resources and knowledge about computer networks, the Internet of things and Cloud computing are quite impossible to design. Computer networks give birth to internet access which is very much needed by every agency and even the entire community in the world. Especially in educational institutions such as Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Raden Fatah, which is located in Kalasan, Yogyakarta when in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, it faces the challenge of disruption from offline learning to online learning. To answer the demands of the times, MA Raden Fattah is very enthusiastic in developing its institution towards a quality smart school. The network infrastructure available at MA Raden Fattah has not been optimized, so through this service, network design and management are carried out so that the need for access points that help students and teachers can be met. This service has succeeded in increasing the number of access points, optimizing the management of internet network resources at MA Raden Fattah, and improving the quality of teaching and learning services at the institution.

The purpose of this community service program is to improve the technical skills of residents of ... more The purpose of this community service program is to improve the technical skills of residents of Roworejo Village, Grabag, Purworejo, in the field of motorbike washing and car detailing. Improving technical skills to wash motorbikes and detail vehicles according to professional standards and the application of technology that supports business sustainability through a water recycling system is the main focus of the activity. This activity is carried out by providing theoretical training on basic vehicle detailing techniques, as well as direct practice such as washing, body care, polishing, and the use of detailing tools. Participants are also educated on how to use and maintain a water recycling system when running a business. The results of the activity showed that 78% of participants succeeded in applying the principles of environmentally friendly technology in business practices. In addition, 85% of participants were able to master the basic techniques of washing motorbikes and detailing vehicles according to training standards. It is hoped that this activity will help sustainable village economic development and open up new skills-based business opportunities.

The implementation is a craft activity that utilizes human resources. By empowering the community's economy through the red brick industrial center, it can increase the community's economic income. The existence of a red brick industrial center creates jobs for the community thereby increasing the community's economic income. The increase in income from working in the red brick industry can be seen from the income one earns. His income is sufficient to meet basic needs and basic needs.

In addition, this business can be run with relatively affordable capital and has broad marketing potential through digital strategies such as social media and delivery services. Vocational school students often face challenges in planning their career paths and presenting th... more Vocational school students often face challenges in planning their career paths and presenting their competencies in a structured and digital format. This community service program aims to assist students in preparing career plans and developing digital portfoliosthat reflect their personal achievements, skills, and aspirations. The activity was conducted in three stages: (1) initial preparation involving coordination with the school and student needs assessment, (2) interactive training on career planning and digital portfolio creation using platforms such as Canva and Google Sites, and (3) feedback sessions where students presented their portfolios and received constructive input. Throughout the program, students were guided on how to reflect their strengths, skills, and future aspirations into a digital format, providing them with a comprehensive tool for job applications or further studies. The results showed a significant increase in students’ understanding of career planning and their ability to independently create well-structured digital portfolios. The majority of participants (78%) completed their digital portfolios, and over 80% were actively engaged during the sessions, demonstrating a high level of enthusiasm and commitment. This program highlights the effectiveness of a participatory and practice-based approach in enhancing students' career readiness and equipping them with essential tools for the modern job market. The students’ improved ability to showcase their competencies in a digital format also supports the evolving needs of employers in the digital age. Future programs are recommended to include advanced modules on digital personal branding, interview preparation, and networking skills to further support vocational students in successfully entering the workforce or continuing their educationn.

The social transformation that has occurred in the digital era has encouraged Micro, Small, and M... more The social transformation that has occurred in the digital era has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt to developments in information technology to increase competitiveness and expand market reach. One form of this adaptation is the use of e-commerce platforms as a means of marketing and managing their businesses online. This community service activity aims to empower the Kartika Taro Chips MSME through the introduction and implementation of an e-commerce platform based on Odoo.com, an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This activity was carried out by students of the Information Systems Study Program, Faculty of Computer Science, Victory University Sorong, with the assistance of lecturers from the Information Systems and Sociology fields. The training method includes several stages, namely: the stage of material preparation and analysis of participant needs, the implementation of a workshop that includes the installation and configuration of Odoo.com, and the post-training mentoring stage to ensure the sustainability and independence of participants in managing their online stores. The results of the training showed that participants were not only able to build and manage online stores independently, but also understood the basic concepts of ERP systems and experienced a significant increase in digital literacy. From a sociological perspective, this activity reflects a technologydriven social transformation process, where MSMEs are actively expanding their social networks through digital spaces and increasing their involvement in the digital economy. This demonstrates that integrating technological and social approaches can be a relevant MSME empowerment model in local contexts. Overall, this training has had a positive impact on strengthening MSMEs' digital capacity and opening up new opportunities for sustainable business development in the era of digital transformation.

This study aims to improve the understanding of village asset management, reporting, and utilizat... more This study aims to improve the understanding of village asset management, reporting, and utilization among officials in Tapak Gedung, Bengkulu, Indonesia. Conducted through a community service program, it involved training and mentoring to enhance officials' capacity to manage village assets according to legal regulations. The program included workshops, discussions, and feedback to assess participants' understanding of asset management and its role in community welfare. The study found significant improvements in participants' knowledge and skills, particularly in managing and reporting village assets like land and buildings. The findings highlight that training in asset management and reporting is essential for promoting transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making in village governance. However, challenges such as limited infrastructure and varying participant comprehension were encountered. The study emphasizes the need for continued support and capacity-building for sustainable asset management in village development. It is limited to one village and does not address challenges faced by others in Indonesia.
