This activity aims to increase the capacity and competence of the Polling Station Supervisory Com... more This activity aims to increase the capacity and competence of the Polling Station Supervisory Committee (PTPS) in Ranteangin District, North Kolaka Regency. PTPS plays an important role in ensuring the implementation of honest, fair, and transparent elections. However, limited understanding of election regulations and procedures is a challenge in carrying out supervisory duties. The method used in this program is debriefing, which includes providing structured material regarding election regulations, supervision techniques, handling violations, and reporting procedures. The debriefing was attended by 10 participants from all villages/subdistricts in Ranteangin District. The results of the evaluation showed a significant increase in the participants' understanding and skills related to their duties and responsibilities as PTPS. This program is expected to strengthen the role of PTPS in maintaining the integrity of the electoral process and supporting the realization of quality democracy at the local level

Optimalisasi aset lokal dalam pemberdayaan peternakan domba sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesejahter... more Optimalisasi aset lokal dalam pemberdayaan peternakan domba sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi dan mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) di Desa Kabuaran, Kecamatan Grujugan, Kabupaten Bondowoso. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan berbasis Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD aset lokal dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan peternakan domba berhasil meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat sebesar 35%, meningkatkan populasi domba hingga 40%, dan mengurangi angka kemiskinan sebesar 15%. Pengelolaan limbah ternak yang ramah lingkungan dan sinergi antarpeternak menciptakan model pemberdayaan yang berkelanjutan. Program ini juga mendukung pencapaian SDGs, khususnya pengentasan kemiskinan, penciptaan lapangan pekerjaan, dan keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Extension on Fish Cultivation in Buckets (Budikdamber) to groups of housewives aims to increase u... more Extension on Fish Cultivation in Buckets (Budikdamber) to groups of housewives aims to increase understanding, skills and independence in managing local resources to support family food security. This activity was carried out in Huangobotu Village, Dungingi District, Gorontalo City, using lecture, discussion and live demonstration methods. The material presented includes efficient fish cultivation techniques using buckets as a medium, as well as integration with plants as an integrated agricultural system. The results of the activity showed that participants had high enthusiasm in adopting this simple technology. In addition, they can manage fish and plant cultivation independently in the household environment, which can increase the fulfillment of family food needs. However, several challenges arise regarding water management and selecting appropriate fish feed. This program shows great potential in increasing food security, especially for housewives in urban areas with limited land. The long-term success of this program requires ongoing support in technical aspects and solving problems that arise during the implementation of Budikdamber. Through this program, it is hoped that a community will be created that is more independent in meeting the nutritional needs of the family, as well as playing a role in realizing familybased food security.

Field Work Lecture (KKL) activities require students to be able to manage work programs effective... more Field Work Lecture (KKL) activities require students to be able to manage work programs effectively in the community. However, there are still many students who do not deeply understand the essential managerial principles, namely Planning, Organising, Implementing, and Controlling (POAC). This service activity aims to increase the organizational capacity of STAIN Mandailing Natal students through applicable and participatory POAC training. The implementation method includes interactive lectures, discussions, simulations, and pretest and post-test-based evaluations. The results showed a 50% increase in participants' understanding, as well as the ability to develop a systematic POAC-based work program. The majority of participants also gave positive feedback on the training methods used. This finding confirms that POAC training ineffectively improves students' readiness to face real challenges at the MPA site. This training is recommended as a routine institutional program to strengthen student's leadership and management skills in the context of community service.

Peran ibu sangat penting dalam memantau tumbuh kembang anak sehingga pemberian edukasi pada ibu tentang pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak dapat menjadi upaya dalam mencegah kondisi stunting dikemudian hari. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Posyantu Bengkong Abadi Baru Kota Batam dengan metode ceramah dan praktik langsung. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup tumbuh kembang anak, dan penggunaan media pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak.Hasil kegiatan menunjukan peserta memiliki ketertarikan tinggi dalam memahami cara memantau tumbuh kembang anak sesuai dengan usianya. Selain itu peran kader dalam memberikan bimbingan lebih lanjut mendorong peningkatan kemauan peserta untuk ikut serta dalam program. Kegiatan ini menunjukan bahwa pemberian edukasi yang sesuai dengan kemampuan peserta serta melibatkan kader dapat menjadi upaya dalam pencegahan stunting. Keberhasilan program ini dalam jangka panjang membutuhkan dukungan berkelanjutan dari tenaga kesehatan agar menjadikan program edukasi ini menjadi kegiatan rutin dalam setiap posyandu. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat tercipta sikap masyarakat yang sadar pentingnya pemantauan tumbuh kembang untuk mencegah stunting.

However, sometimes the springs are located under residential areas. To lift water to residential areas, large amounts of electrical energy are needed to drive water pumps. Apart from the very large electrical energy sources required, the price of water pumps is very expensive, it is necessary to develop alternative energy sources. An alternative energy source that has enormous potential in Indonesia is solar energy. Every year the sun releases 745 thousand trillion kWh of solar energy reaching the earth. In connection with the above, dedication was carried out regarding the design of the solar water pump. In the design of the solar water pump, a DC water pump is used with a solar power source using 3 solar panel modules. Through the Mitra Village Service SKIM, LPPM UNMUS 2024 Program, this service will examine the performance of the solar water pump, namely the maximum power produced by the solar panels, the water flow that can be lifted by the pump and the duration of operation in a day. The results of service activities in the form of technology that has been installed in partner plantations in Waninggap Nanggo Village, this technology is able to save on plantation operations, especially water pump electricity costs, by using solar power sources. Based on the analysis, electricity costs have been saved by 30%, thereby increasing partner income.

This site holds ecological, cultural, and spiritual value, making community involvement vital for its sustainability. The program employed participatory methods including observations, interviews, focus group discussions, and training workshops with community members, traditional leaders, and the local tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis). The findings reveal strong community commitment in conserving the area through regular clean-ups, informational signage based on local wisdom, and collaborative patrols. Capacity-building sessions enhanced community understanding of environmental conservation and introduced digital strategies to promote the site. This initiative underscores the importance of integrating local knowledge and participatory approaches in sustainable tourism development. Empowering local communities ensures that conservation efforts align with both environmental goals and socioeconomic benefits.

Tujuan artikel ini untuk mengelaborasi peningkatan literasi informasi pustakawan, guru, dan pegia... more Tujuan artikel ini untuk mengelaborasi peningkatan literasi informasi pustakawan, guru, dan pegiat literasi melalui Bimbingan Teknis yang diselenggarakan oleh Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Karanganyar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama lima hari melibatkan narasumber dari berbagai institusi seperti D3-Komunikasi Terapan UNS, D3-Perpustakaan UNS, UPT Perpustakaan UNS, UMUKA, dan Kominfo, serta difokuskan pada materi kebutuhan informasi, penelusuran, evaluasi, analisis, sintesis, dan diseminasi informasi, yang sejajar dengan capaian literasi sebagaimana digariskan dalam literatur pelatihan literasi informasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah program pelatihan interaktif terpadu, terdiri dari ceramah, studi kasus, simulasi praktik, diskusi kelompok, dan tanya jawab. Tiap narasumber memberikan sesi spesifik sesuai keahlian. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, observasi partisipatif, serta refleksi individu. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kompetensi literasi informasi para peserta: rata-rata skor post-test naik dibanding pre-test; peserta melaporkan peningkatan kemampuan merumuskan kebutuhan informasi, memilih sumber yang relevan, mengevaluasi kredibilitas, melakukan analisis dan sintesis, serta menyebarkan informasi secara sistematis. Selain itu, partisipasi aktif dan sangat tingginya antusiasme peserta mencerminkan keberhasilan metode interaktif. Temuan ini sejalan dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan literasi informasi efektif meningkatkan kemampuan praktis pustakawan dan tenaga perpustakaan. Secara keseluruhan, Bimtek ini efektif meningkatkan literasi informasi secara sistematis, dan direkomendasikan sebagai model pelatihan berkelanjutan untuk penguatan layanan perpustakaan daerah.

This community service activity aims to increase students' creativity and environmental awareness... more This community service activity aims to increase students' creativity and environmental awareness through making bracelets from recycled beads at SD Perumnas Muhammadiyah. The activity began with an observation of the school environment to obtain an initial picture as a basis for planning. Students were involved in direct practice, starting from introducing materials, compiling designs, to the bracelet production process. The results of the activity showed the creation of 32 bracelets with 6 design variations. Although the average selling price was only IDR 7,000, lower than similar case studies (IDR 15,000), the increase in participants' skills reached 85%, exceeding the comparative study by 80%. Participants' environmental awareness also increased by 90%, indicating the success of the program in instilling ecological values. This activity not only hones technical skills, but also forms an attitude of responsibility, cooperation, and concern for the environment. This program is expected to be an example of good practice in developing character education and creativity in elementary schools.
