Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi bagaimana lembaga kearsipan merencanakan penanggulangan bencana, dengan penekanan pada strategi, implementasi, dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Melalui pendekatan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menganalisis secara mendalam berbagai literatur terkait manajemen bencana dan pengelolaan arsip. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan kesiapsiagaan yang efektif harus didukung oleh penilaian risiko yang mendalam, langkah-langkah pencegahan yang mencakup pengendalian lingkungan serta keamanan digital, dan pelatihan rutin bagi para staf. Meski demikian, lembaga kearsipan kerap dihadapkan pada sejumlah kendala. Di antaranya, keterbatasan anggaran yang mempengaruhi kemampuan untuk melakukan investasi dalam peralatan dan pelatihan, kurangnya tenaga kerja yang terlatih secara memadai, serta tantangan dalam beradaptasi dengan perkembangan tekhnologi dan berbagai jenis bencana yang semakin beragam. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun penerapan perencanaan bencana yang ideal masih menjadi tantangan bagi banyak lembaga, langkah-langkah kesiapsiagaan yang memadai dapat membantu mengurangi dampak negatif dari bencana. Selain itu, investasi dalam kesiapsiagaan tidak hanya melindungi arsip-arsip yang berharga tetapi juga memastikan kelangsungan operasional lembaga kearsipan di masa mendatang, terutama dalam menghadapi potensi bencana yang semakin kompleks

Abstract

Wayang kulit performances are a symbol of the drama of Javanese life. This research aims to understand Javanese cultural symbols in wayang performances, especially the play Pandu Suwarga, by using a mixed research method that combines library research and field research. The data collection technique was non-participant observation via YouTube social media and analyzed using Turner's symbol theory. The research results found that especially the Suwarga Pandu Play, contained deep moral lessons. One significant finding is the importance of filial piety to parents, which is manifested through the desire of the Five Pandavas for their parents to enter heaven. The characters in this show are symbolically divided into two main groups: good, represented by the Five Pandavas, and bad, represented by the Kauravas. Thus, this article contributes to the understanding of Javanese culture and the study of shadow puppets as a medium for storytelling and conveying life values. The symbols found in the play Pandu Suwarga provide a deep insight into the complexity of the wayang tradition and its relevance in permeating Javanese cultural values.

Abstract

A virtual reference service is a service where librarians and users can communicate with each other in real time over the Internet. This study aims to analyze the virtual reference service 'Ask a Librarian' as a service with a real-time system, which is one of the library strategies for providing reference services to users without limited space and time. This study uses a qualitative approach. This article is based on literature studies that support the subject. The study result shows that the virtual reference service 'Ask a Librarian' makes it easy for reference librarians to provide information on user questions remotely, the quality of the information on this feature is very credible and quality because user questions about any library information are answered directly by the local reference librarian. With the real-time system used in this service, the completion time of activity, responsiveness, or latency is an important aspect of system quality. The presence of these services is expected to provide reference services to users without space constraints in a short time.

Abstract

This bibliometric research focuses on mapping research in the field of child literacy (Literasi Anak) based on Google Scholar and Crossref. This research was conducted to determine the development of research in the field of children's literacy. Data collection was carried out based on the Google Scholar and Crossref databases with the keyword child literacy, publication category is journal and the sample used is 1923 articles. Data collection was carried out using Publish or Perish (PoP) software to obtain accurate research development data. Data analysis was performed using VOSViewer. The results of the analysis show that the dominant research topics include children's literacy with its application in the world of education with a focus on children's habits and behavior. Research potentials and opportunities with the theme of child literacy include discussions on the use of technology in children's literacy. This research is still limited by utilizing Publish or Perish (PoP) in retrieving metadata from Google Scholar and Crossref and using VOSViewer to create mapping visualizations and clustering topics. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Publish or Perish (PoP) untuk mendapatkan data perkembangan riset secara akurat. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan VOSViewer. Hasil analisis menunjukkan Topik-topik riset yang dominan diantaranya tentang literasi anak dengan penerapannya di dunia pendidikan dengan fokus pada habit (kebiasaan) dan behavior (perilaku) anak. Potensi dan peluang riset dengan tema literasi anak mencakup pembahasan mengani pemanfaatan teknologi dalam literasi anak. Riset ini masih terbatas dengan memanfaatkan Publish or Perish (PoP) dalam mengambil metadata dari Google Scholar dan Crossref serta menggunakan VOSViewer untuk membuat visualisasi pemetaan dan pengklasteran topik-topik. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini dapat menjadi rujukan bagi peneliti lain yang akan meneliti tentang topik literasi anak.

Abstract

Document control is a crucial aspect of office work related to the management of records. Given the vital role records play in providing accurate, timely, relevant, and complete information, records management must be optimized to support decision-making and policy formulation by leaders. Well-managed office records are easier to retrieve when needed. This study aims to examine the management of inactive records as well as the inhibiting and supporting factors at BBPOM Bandar Lampung. The research employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. Data analysis included reduction, presentation, and verification, while data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the management of inactive records at BBPOM generally aligns with established mechanisms, as BBPOM has implemented a Records Retention Schedule (RRS) for the storage and disposal of records. However, there are several challenges in record management, such as limited storage space and large volumes of records, which have resulted in many records being improperly organized. Additionally, data from 2018-2021 show that the lack of human resources (HR) in archiving and limited facilities also hinder the management of inactive dynamic records, causing delays in task completion within the set deadlines. According to ANRI regulations, HR is a key factor in records management. Nevertheless, there are also supporting factors for managing inactive dynamic records at BBPOM, such as scheduled record destruction, the existence of a comprehensive archiving SOP, and a proposal to increase HR in archiving by 2025
