Abstract

This study examines students' perception of the competence of BK teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Almaarif Singosari. This research was conducted based on the assumption from students that the services in the classroom are not fun and monotonous, even some students are lazy to listen and understand the meaning of the material conveyed if it is not in the form of a game method. In addition, some students are also worried that if they confide in the BK teacher, it will leak everywhere. This research is a field research using a qualitative approach and a phenomenological study research method. The subjects of this study are class XI students and students who have and have never counseled with BK teachers. Data collection in this study uses interviews and observations and is analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s qualitative descriptive analysis. Data analysis was carried out using Miles and Huberman techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. This research procedure consists of 3 stages: 1) Preparation stage, 2) Implementation stage, 3) Final stage. The results of the study show that students' perception of the competence of Guidance and Counseling teachers is quite good, especially in social and personality competencies, and requires further evaluation in pedagogic and professional competence. Abstract

Potensi Religius wilayah pulau Madura menjadi daya tarik tersendiri untuk dikelola sebagai salah satu bentuk warisan lokal. Begitu banyaknya pondok pesantren dengan latar belakang kehasan masing-masing dengan para kyai yang memimpin adalah warisan yang sangat berharga bagi Masyarakat Madura. Namun, hal ini masih belum dioptimalisasi, sehingga potensi tersebut belum dapat dinikmati oleh masyrakat. Hal inilah yang menjadi latar belakang ditulisnya artikel ini sebagai bentuk dokumentasi potensi kearifan religius yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk dokumentasi naskah tentang kisah kiyai dalam mendirikan ponok pesantren di wilayah Madura. Lokasi yang dijadikan objek pengabdian adalah Pondok Pesantren Al Hikam Kemayoran Bangkalan. Artikel ini dikembangkan dengan metode PAR (Partisipatory Rural Aprasial) dengan harapan bahwa melalui metode ini akan didapatkan data-data yang kontekstual untuk penyusunan naskah bertajuk” Sorban Para Kyai”. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah sebuah naskah yang berisikan kisah sejarah sehuingga doharapakan akan mampu menjadi pembelajaran bagi masyarakat. Naskah dikemas dalam sebuah narasi cerita beralur, sehingga membaca naskah ini diharapkan mampu memberikan gambaran kontekstual tentang perjuangan para kyai dalam mendirikan sebuah pondok pesantren.

Abstract

The socialization of technology-based learning media at SMP Al Hikam Kemayoran aims to improve the capacity of teachers in utilizing website-based media as a learning aid. This activity focuses on introducing new media that can increase the variety and appeal of materials and motivate students to be more active in class. The socialization began with a survey through Mentimeter to find out the media that teachers have used. The results showed that although some common media have been used, there is still a need for more varied media that are in accordance with the digital era. The speaker introduced various application and website-based media, although challenges arose due to school policies that limit the use of digital devices by students. The speaker suggested that the policy on the use of gadgets in class be considered carefully, considering the effectiveness of digital media in increasing student interaction and learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the resilience of students who memorize the Qur'an at a state university in Malang, Indonesia, specifically in the Faculty of Education, based on the seven aspects of resilience identified by Reivich and Shatte. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation with two students who memorize the Qur'an at the Faculty of Education and four supporting informants. The research subjects were selected purposively, consisting of: 1) students who memorize the Qur'an, 2) students enrolled at one of the state universities in Malang City and at the Faculty of Education, and 3) students in semesters 2-6, 4) Students who are still in the process of memorizing (not yet completed), and 5) Willing to be research subjects. The findings show that the resilience of students who memorize the Qur'an is formed through seven aspects of resilience identified by Reivich and Shatte, and is influenced by external factors, namely social support. This study recommends that the guidance and counseling center at the state university in Malang, provide individual or group counseling focused on the problems experienced by students who memorize the Qur'an. Then, hold workshops or seminars on strategies for maintaining resilience, stress management, and increasing motivation to memorize, and finally, create information services in the form of posters on maintaining resilience amid busy college activities and memorization.
