Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of parenting on the learning behavior of students SMPN 14 Kota Serang. This type of research is qualitative. The sample in this study were students SMPN 14 Kota Serang and their parents who raised them. The data collection method used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the research data on the learning response indicators show that the respondents have a fairly good response in learning, as evidenced by a score of 270. The learning enthusiasm indicator shows that the respondents have very good learning enthusiasm, as evidenced by a score of 348. The responsible indicator shows that the respondent has a very good sense of responsibility, as evidenced by a score of 348. The technical indicator in learning shows that the respondent has excellent learning techniques, as evidenced by a score of 405. The study habit indicator shows that the respondent has a fairly good study habit, as evidenced by a score of 307. The observation and thinking indicator when studying shows that the respondent has fairly good observation and thinking when studying, as evidenced by a score of 283. On the indicator of continuous interaction of parents and children, it shows that the interaction of parents and respondents continuously is quite good, as evidenced by a score of 456. On the indicator of a series of decisions on socialization shows that respondents have a series of decisions that are quite good about socialization, as evidenced by a score of 487 The indicator of the influence of social institutions shows that the respondent has a fairly good influence of social institutions, as evidenced by a score of 283. The indicator of the influence of culture shows that the respondent has a very good cultural influence, as evidenced by a score of 376. parents have quite an effect on student learning behavior. It is proven by the responses of students SMPN 14 Kota Serang with a score of 3563.

Abstract

The implementation of promoting circumcision practices, the method used in the activity is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method. This ABCD method emphasizes community assets and strengths compared to their needs or problems. The mass circumcision counseling program "Ceria: Healthy Steps Towards the Future" at the Sunan Giri University Surabaya (Unsuri) campus seeks to increase students' knowledge about the importance of reproductive health. In addition to discussing circumcision practices, this activity also teaches participants about the importance of circumcision from a religious perspective and health benefits. Although this program has had many beneficial impacts, some groups still have difficulty understanding and participating, and they continue to have concerns about its safety and effectiveness. As a result, this counseling is a valuable forum to discuss health issues, foster community cohesion, and raise awareness of the importance of reproductive health prevention. The success of this program is expected to be a stepping stone for broader health programs in the future and inspire children to actively participate in preserving their environment and health.

Abstract

This research examines the decision of the Medan District Court regarding the issue of unlawful acts committed by PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance in connection with termination of employment and uncertainty in payment of workers' rights. This problem highlights serious problems in the implementation of court decisions in Indonesia, especially in industrial relations, where legal decisions are often ignored. This research emphasizes the importance of enforcing court decisions to ensure justice and legal certainty in the Indonesian civil law system. The method used in this research is normative juridical. The discussion in this research shows two things, namely: the impact of PT non-compliance. Mandiri Tunas Finance regarding termination of employment and uncertainty in payment of workers' rights and emphasizes the importance of enforcing court decisions in the civil law system in Indonesia. This research concludes that PT. Mandiri Tunas Finance's response to the Medan District Court's decision highlights the need for consistent enforcement of civil law. Failure to pay workers their rights harms them and reduces public trust in the legal system. To prevent similar cases, it is important to ensure good implementation of court decisions to guarantee legal certainty, justice, public safety, and encourage legal development. Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini yakni untuk memaparkan pelaksanaan program bimbingan belajar yang mana merupakan salah satu inisiatif pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa, terutama di daerah dengan keterbatasan akses terhadap pendidikan berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yakni metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) merupakan pendekatan yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam setiap tahap kegiatan, mulai dari identifikasi masalah, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Sinergi mahasiswa menjadi kunci keberhasilan program ini, dengan mahasiswa berperan sebagai tutor yang tidak hanya mengajarkan materi, tetapi juga memberikan motivasi dan bimbingan moral kepada para siswa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam prestasi akademik siswa yang terlibat, serta peningkatan kepercayaan diri dan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design and build a garden fence made of wood and recycled bottles in an effort to develop an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution. In addition to functioning as a room divider, this garden fence can also be used as a decorative component to add to the aesthetic appeal of the garden. This study examines the structural strength, material durability, and aesthetic value of the fence building using wood and recycled bottles. The method used in this activity is the ABCD method, the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach method which is a mentoring method that prioritizes the utilization of assets and potentials around the community. This research method also evaluates the environmental impact and cost efficiency of using recycled materials. The results of the study show that a fence made of wood and recycled bottles can be a practical and attractive choice for a garden plan. This fence not only supports the management of plastic bottle waste, but also provides a smart solution that is financially efficient and affordable.
