Abstract

The Socialization Activity of New Paradigm Learning in the Merdeka Curriculum through the Profile of Strengthening Pancasila for Teachers of SD Negeri 122391 Pematangsiantar aims to provide solutions to problems faced by partners, namely the lack of understanding regarding the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in designing and compiling Merdeka Curriculum teaching tools at the school level. elementary (SD). The activity was carried out in three stages, namely first 'training/exposing the concept of the Merdeka curriculum for elementary schools which includes a presentation on the design of play activities with reference to Learning Achievements (CP); Explanation of the development of learning pathways and objectives in basic education units based on unit characteristics, children's needs and interests, surrounding environmental conditions, and their relationship to learning outcomes, so that the learning pathways and objectives between each unit can be different; Explanation of developing teaching modules according to students' learning needs. Second, assistance in making learning concept maps for basic education, and third, practice in implementing teaching tools in front of colleagues. The output of this service activity is in the form of increasing understanding of the concepts and methods of implementing the Independent Curriculum for elementary school level. The teachers were very enthusiastic about participating in the training, they responded that with this training they could implement the Merdeka curriculum in their respective schools

Abstract

Kreativitas anak dan perkembangan motorik tangan memiliki peran penting dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama dalam meningkatkan koordinasi motorik halus dan keterampilan sensorik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode pembelajaran berbasis aktivitas kreatif dalam meningkatkan kreativitas serta memantau perkembangan motorik tangan anak melalui aktivitas menjahit dengan benang wol dan membuat kerajinan tangan dari kawat bulu. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 19 Februari 2025 di Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) Pangulah Utara dengan pendekatan observasi dan evaluasi untuk mengukur dampak metode tersebut terhadap keterampilan anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan kreatif ini secara signifikan meningkatkan kreativitas, ketekunan, dan koordinasi motorik halus anak. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kontrol gerakan tangan, fokus, serta antusiasme dalam menyelesaikan tugas kreatif, yang juga mendukung perkembangan kognitif mereka. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memungkinkan anak untuk berlatih memecahkan masalah dan berpikir inovatif, menjadikan pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Peningkatan keterlibatan dan motivasi siswa menegaskan efektivitas pendekatan ini dalam pendidikan dasar. Oleh karena itu, penerapan aktivitas kreatif dalam pembelajaran direkomendasikan sebagai strategi efektif untuk mendukung perkembangan anak, khususnya dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik dan kreativitas mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak pendekatan dialog interaktif dalam pembelajaran mata kuliah Etika Kristen terhadap hasil Ujian Tengah Semester (UTS) mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika pada semester genap Tahun Akademik 2023/2024. Pendekatan dialog interaktif, yang mendorong partisipasi aktif mahasiswa melalui diskusi dan interaksi langsung, terbukti lebih efektif dibandingkan metode konvensional. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran interaktif memiliki pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang konsep etika Kristen dan nilai UTS yang lebih baik. Teknologi berperan penting dalam mendukung metode ini dengan menyediakan platform e-learning dan alat bantu interaktif. Penelitian ini menekankan perlunya penyesuaian kurikulum dan peningkatan pelatihan dosen untuk mengadopsi pendekatan ini secara efektif, serta menunjukkan potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil akademik mahasiswa.

Abstract

This community service program (PkM) was conducted on May 3, 2025, at SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. The activity targeted Grade 11 students in the science program (IPA 1). The main goal was to introduce the students to the concept of TOEFL, explain its importance, and especially focus on the Listening Section. Many students in high schools are still unfamiliar with TOEFL, even though this test is important for those who want to study abroad or apply for scholarships. We designed this program as a three-hour session with a focus on listening skills. We did not use pre-tests or post-tests, but instead we gave one test at the end to check the students' understanding. The activity had three parts: first, a presentation about what TOEFL is, why it is important, and what the Listening Section looks like. Second, we explaithe ned strategies and tips to answer listening questions correctly. Third, we played audio recordings, discussed the questions with the students, and gave them practical advice on how to answer the questions. The result of this activity was very positive. The students became more aware of TOEFL and felt more confident about facing the Listening Section. Even though the activity was only for one day, the students actively participated and understood the basic techniques for listening comprehension. In conclusion, this program was effective in helping students understand and practice TOEFL listening strategies.
