Abstract

Palm oil agribusiness drives agricultural economic growth the greatest. Developing palm oil agriculture can solve economic issues. Despite low productivity, swamp areas can be used to grow oil palm plants to increase palm oil production. Due to low plant cultivation technology use from sowing to harvest and soil amelioration, plant productivity needs to be maximized. This study will qualitatively synthesize all research data to investigate biochar and organic materials as soil fertility and productivity supplements in swamp terrain. This study summarises primary research using a systematic review. Peer-reviewed PDF-formatted scientific literature. Journal articles in Indonesian and English on Instagram's usefulness as a digital socialization medium, especially in government institutions, were chosen. The Harzing Publish or Perish software searched Google, ScienceDirect, and Emerald for relevant papers from the past five years. This literature review was synthesized using a narrative method to group similar retrieved data by outcomes measured to meet objectives. According to the results, palm oil biomass waste as compost or biochar is a realistic way to manage organic waste. Biochar can sink atmospheric carbon as a soil amendment by converting biomass into aromatic carbon, which degrades less. This article discusses how waste management increases biological decomposition.

Abstract

This research examines the development of biodegradable plastic bags made from specific types of food crop waste, such as [specific types of food crop waste], through a literature study from 2020 to 2024. This systematic literature review study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and sustainability of these plastic bags compared to conventional plastic bags. Using the Scopus database, this research identified around 50 articles from various countries discussing this topic. The analysis results show that the adoption of biodegradable plastic bag technology still needs to be improved, mainly due to the need for long-term research and comprehensive practical trials. The main challenges identified include the need for more data on biodegradation in various environmental conditions and the lack of information on production costs compared to conventional plastic bags. This research also highlights the need for more studies of long-term ecological impacts and a more detailed life cycle analysis, including [specific aspects of the life cycle analysis], to ensure the sustainability of these products. In addition, interest and research efforts in biodegradable plastics made from food crop waste increased significantly during the 2020-2024 period, indicating the great potential of this innovation in reducing plastic pollution and improving environmental sustainability. This research recommends more studies to address shortcomings and strengthen evidence regarding biodegradable plastic bags' effectiveness and long-term benefits. Overall, this research shows that despite significant challenges, the development of biodegradable plastic bags made from food crop waste has great potential to reduce the negative impact of conventional plastics on the environment. With further research and increased technology adoption, these plastic bags could become a sustainable solution to the global plastic pollution problem.

Abstract

Providing ample facilities encourages active student participation and enhances learning outcomes. Evaluating the adequacy of educational resources is crucial for maximizing student achievement. Student performance is influenced by available resources and other factors, including family economics, peer influence, and societal factors. Adequate facilities are linked to higher academic achievement, while their lack can impede learning and reduce student performance. This research employs a quantitative methodology to analyze the impact of media usage, facilities, and student learning interests on their motivation and outcomes in economics. Data was collected from primary and secondary sources, involving a sample of 124 participants, including 31 class XI students from a private high school in East Java. Results indicate a positive relationship between media usage and learning facilities with learning motivation. However, there is no significant relationship between Learning Interest and Learning Motivation nor a direct relationship between media, facilities, and learning outcomes. A unidirectional relationship exists between learning interest, motivation, and outcomes. Additionally, a significant correlation is found between students' learning preferences and exposure to learning media, whereas facilities do not show a positive correlation with academic interests.
