Abstract

The intensification of climate change is having serious impacts on coastal areas. Mangrove restoration at Oneeha Beach is a crucial effort to enhance the resilience of the coastal ecosystem while also empowering the socio-economic well-being of the local community. This program actively involved the community in the planting and maintenance of mangroves, as well as socialization and education activities on the importance of this ecosystem. The results of the activities demonstrated a significant increase in community environmental awareness, understanding of the technical aspects of mangrove planting and conservation, and the successful planting of new mangrove seedlings in degraded coastal areas.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui estimasi sumberdaya di lokasi Pit C, berapa estimasi sumberdaya endapan nikel laterit dan berapa selisih perbandingan cadangan nikel laterit dengan menggunakan metode Inverse Distance Weight dan metode kriging. Data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini adalah data assay, collar, geology dan survey dengan spasi titik bor rata-rata 50 m. Dari data yang diperoleh yaitu estimasi sumberdaya dengan menggunakan metode Inverse Distance Weight dengan kadar low grade 1.5% – 1.69% Ni 8.907 ton, kadar medium grade 1.7% – 1.89% Ni 54.376 ton, kadar high grade >1.9% Ni 23.125 ton sedangkan hasil estimasi cadangan menggunakan metode Kriging dengan kadar low grade .5% – 1.69% Ni 9.046,88 ton, kadar medium grade 1.7% – 1.89% Ni 9.937,5 ton, kadar high grade >1.9% Ni 3.984,38 ton. Berdasarkan hasil Estimasi sumberdaya terdapat perbedaan selisih sumberdaya antara metode Inverse Distance Weight dan metode Kriging yaitu, untuk sumberdaya kadar low grade sebesar 8.957,81 ton, medium grade sebesar 4.499,9 ton, dan high grade sebesar 3.753,13 ton.
