Abstract

This article aims to explain the crucial role of Islamic education in maintaining the mental health of Generation Z in the digital era. By analyzing current trends, this research highlights the safety and wellbeing challenges facing Generation Z, including the negative impact of technology on mental health. The research method involved a literature review and analysis of current data regarding social media use and its impact. The research results show that the integration of Islamic values in digital education has a significant role in guiding Generation Z to manage technology healthily. The gap between technological advances and mental health can be overcome through learning Islamic values which include digital literacy and social media ethics. The novelty of this article lies in its holistic approach to the well-being of Generation Z, emphasizing healthy digital literacy and ethics in the context of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of servant leadership style with the philosophical approach of Ki Hajar Dewantara. The servant leadership style emphasizes service, empathy, and subordinate development, while the Ki Hajar Dewantara philosophical approach refers to holistic educational principles and prioritizes a balance between intellectual and emotional intelligence. The purpose of this study is to analyze how the application of servant leadership style inspired by the philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara can have a positive impact on the work environment or organization. To determine the effectiveness of servant leadership style in the implications of lecturer closeness with students as learners; To find out the success of educational institutions in implementing using the application of servant leadership with the correlation of the philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach and contextual analysis. Based on the available literature, servant leadership style is applied through developing strong relationships between leaders and subordinates, listening with empathy, giving praise and recognition, and providing personal development opportunities. The philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara is also analyzed to see how the concept of holistic education and character building can be adapted in the context of servant leadership.The results of the analysis show that the application of servant leadership style with the Ki Hajar Dewantara philosophical approach can strengthen bonds in the team, increase subordinate satisfaction and motivation, and encourage overall individual growth. The connection between servant leadership aspects and the principles of Ki Hajar Dewantara creates an inclusive, inspiring, and effective work environment.

Abstract

Islamic education plays an important role in forming ecological awareness among its followers. This research aims to explore the role of leaders in strengthening environmental awareness in Islamic educational institutions, by highlighting the approach methods used. Through qualitative analysis based on a literature study of relevant literature, this research reveals the importance of the role of leaders in promoting ecological awareness through a structured approach in Islamic educational institutions. Leaders can integrate environmental values into the curriculum, organize educational programs, and be role models for students. These findings provide a deeper understanding of leaders' strategies in strengthening ecological awareness, so that they can make a more significant contribution to environmental conservation.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of e-learning and the campus environment on students' learning motivation and interest, as well as the mediating role of learning motivation. Using a quantitative causal methodology, the research involved 100 undergraduate students from Undiknas Denpasar, with data collected via questionnaires. Analysis was conducted using Microsoft Excel on responses from 130 students in various engineering disciplines through Google Forms. Findings reveal a significant positive effect of e-learning and the campus environment on learning motivation, with 46% of respondents highly satisfied with E-Learning (E-Campus UPB), 50% satisfied with campus facilities, 59% stating that media and facilities support their motivation, and 49% acknowledging the influence of these factors on their learning interest at the Faculty of Engineering UPB Cikarang.
