Abstract

An information is extremely easy to obtain when technology is evolving so fast and it is important to secure the information to avoid irresponsible parties who want to abuse it. Messages that are not safe will harm the owner of the message, therefore a lot of research is related to message security. This study aims to deepen the message security in encoded form using Galois Field polynomials with one of the symmetric encryption algorithms, namely the Hill Cipher algorithm. Encryption is the process of converting a message into a secret code while decryption is the reverse process. The encryption and decryption process in this discussion is carried out by changing the message character into Galois Field polynomial form, then operating calculations based on the Hill Cipher algorithm, and then changing the results of the calculation operations into character form again. Based on the modifications have been made, the encryption and decryption formulas will be multiplied by modulo in polynomials form. In this study, the encryption and decryption keys are in matrix form with elements in it are members of the Galois Field polynomial and the result is a random message of 256 characters in binary bit-8. From this research, we gain insight into the encoding that can be done using polynomials which can be used later in other forms of encoding.

Abstract

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is characterized by a relative insulin deficiency caused by pancreatic cell dysfunction and insulin resistance. Herbal-based traditional medicine can be an alternative, one of which is insulin leaf (Smallanthus sonchifolius), which has antidiabetic effects and can lower blood sugar levels by inhibiting glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis. DPP4 inhibitors are a class of antidiabetic drugs used in the treatment of type 2 DM. This study aims to analyze and predict the binding patterns of flavonoid derivatives from insulin leaf (Smallanthus sonchifolius) compounds to the DPP4 enzyme inhibitor, to determine the binding affinity of these compounds to the target protein as an antidiabetic agent. The study was conducted using an in silico method, utilizing the Research Collaboratory for Structural Bioinformatics (RCSB), Avogadro Software, AutoDockTools (version 1.5.6), and Biovia Discovery Studio 2021 for molecular docking and prediction of binding patterns and affinity for the DPP4 N7F protein. The results of this study showed that the binding energy value obtained from the natural ligand N7F was -11.0 kcal/mol. The binding energy value for 1,19-dihydroxy-2,6,10,14-phytateraen-18-oic-acid with the N7F protein was -9.8 kcal/mol. Therefore, 1,19-dihydroxy-2,6,10,14-phytateraen-18-oic-acid has a more stable binding with the DPP4 enzyme N7F target protein. Based on the results obtained from molecular docking of the flavonoid derivative compounds from insulin leaf (S. sonchifolius), the compound 1,19-dihydroxy-2,6,10,14-phytateraen-18-oic-acid  showed the most potential as a DPP4 enzyme inhibitor among the other compounds.

Abstract

Community service in Gupak Warak Hamlet aims to increase public awareness of the environmental and social issues in the area. One of the main problems faced is the low awareness of the community in managing waste, which leads to the habit of burning trash in open areas, such as yards, rather than disposing of it in the provided waste bins. The practice of open burning not only pollutes the environment but also poses potential health risks due to the harmful smoke and particles generated. Additionally, bullying behavior was found among students at the local Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Bullying in the school environment can negatively impact children's psychological development, lower self-esteem, and disrupt the comfort of the teaching and learning process. To address these issues, a community service program was carried out using socialization and training methods directed at the community and MI students. Socialization and training for the community aim to increase understanding of the negative impacts of waste burning, the importance of organic and inorganic waste management, and the implementation of recycling methods. On the other hand, socialization and training for MI students are intended to raise awareness about the harmful effects of bullying. This activity is expected to promote positive thinking regarding waste management, reduce the practice of waste burning that harms the environment, and create a safer and more comfortable school environment for students. With this program, it is hoped that behavioral changes will occur in both the community and MI students, leading to the creation of a healthier, safer, and more harmonious environment in Gupak Warak Hamlet

Abstract

This socialization discussed the importance of developing a Child Friendly School environment as a strategic effort in preventing verbal violence and strengthening children's mental health. Verbal violence that often occurs in school settings leaves a significant long-term psychological impact on children's development. Through a comprehensive approach, Child Friendly Schools offer a framework that supports children's rights, builds positive communication, and creates an emotionally safe learning environment. The program integrates positive communication training for educators, the development of a character education curriculum and the implementation of a sustainable psychosocial support system. By involving all school components, including teachers, staff, students and parents, Child-Friendly Schools not only mitigate verbal violence but also build a strong mental health foundation for future generations. This socialization presents good practices of program implementation in various schools along with an evaluation of its impact in reducing the number of verbal violence and improving children's mental health indicators.
