The MCH handbook is a guidebook owned by pregnant women which contains information and documents for recording mothers and children as well as KIE media. In Lombok Regency, it was found that the utilization of the MCH handbook as an IEC medium for pregnant women was still not optimal. Factors that may influence the use of Maternal and Child Health (MCH) books as IEC media for pregnant women are the characteristics of pregnant women. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional study design. The population is 403 pregnant women in North Lombok district. The research sample of 107 people was taken by accidental sampling method, interviewed with a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, data processing used the Chi-Square test. The results of the study found that most of the respondents were aged <20 years and >35 years, namely 79 pregnant women (73.8%). 62 pregnant women (57.9%) have high school education level. Most of them had a history of multigravida pregnancies (2-3rd pregnancies) as many as 73 people (68.2%) and the majority used MCH books as KIE media, namely 101 pregnant women (94.3%). In addition, the P value for each variable is smaller than 0.05, namely sig age 0.024 <0.05, education level 0.040 <0.05, and educational history 0.013 <0.05. This shows that there is a significant relationship between age, education level and history of pregnancy with the utilization of the MCH handbook for pregnant women in North Lombok District.

Education is one of the fields that includes the field of teaching and learning. The teaching and learning process requires important components, one of which is teaching materials in the form of a practical guidance module. The existence of a practical guidance module during the practicum can help students understand and understand the practical material. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of a practical guidance module which is expected to improve students' understanding of the practical material, especially the Histology practicum. The development research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method with a total of 100 subjects of the 2024 Medical Study Program students. The instrument in this study was a questionnaire in the form of a gform. The questionnaire consisted of a validation questionnaire from material experts and media experts, as well as pre-test and post-test questions. The results of the pre-test and post-test were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and N-gain tests with SPSS. The assessment of the material expert and media expert validators showed a value of 86% and 92%, indicating that the module was very valid and could be used without revision. The Wilcoxon Test results show an Asymp.sig value of 0.000, indicating that there is an average difference between the pretest and post-test scores. The N-gain test results show an N-gain score of 84, indicating that the module effectively improves the understanding of students in the 2024 batch of the Medical study program with an increase in the level of understanding in the high category.

Osteoporosis is a bone disorder characterized by a decrease in bone density. One of the main factors causing osteoporosis is age. As a person ages, the prevalence rate of osteoporosis will increase, especially in women. The prevalence of osteoporosis is more common in elderly women. This is associated with the menopause. In menopause occurs decrease in estrogen hormone levels. The estrogen can protect bones from loss of bone mass through bone remodeling mechanisms. This literature review aims to know the role of estrogen on bone remodeling in post-menopusal osteoporosis. This literature review was carried out using Google Scholar, PubMed, and ResearchGate. The results of this literature review concluded that the estrogen has an important role in bone remodeling. The estrogen has anti-remodeling effect which can promote osteoclast apoptosis and induce osteoblast anti-apoptosis. Estrogen deficiency due to age in one of the factors that causes osteoporosis in post-menopausal osteoporosis.

Malaria masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan utama di Indonesia, dengan daerah endemis yang mengalami angka infeksi tinggi, terutama di wilayah daerah timur. Literasi kesehatan dibutuhkan untuk memastikan adanya awareness dan pemahaman mengenai tindakan pencegahan dan pengobatan penyakit malaria. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyusun instrumen literasi malaria yang valid dan reliabel. Kuesioner terdiri dari 16 item pertanyaan yang disusun berdasarkan dimensi kemudahan mengakses, kemampuan memahami, kemampuan mengevaluasi dan kemampuan untuk mengaplikasikan informasi kesehatan terkait pelayanan kesehatan, pencegahan penyakit dan promosi kesehatan untuk penyakit malaria. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 40 orang dari mahasiswa FKM Universitas Mulawarman yang bersedia menjadi responden penelitian karena telah memiliki pengetahuan mendasar mengenai malaria. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner secara online melalui google form. Uji validitas dilakukan dengan uji Pearson Product Moment menggunakan SPSS. Kuesioner dikatakan valid jika nilai r hitung > dari r tabel untuk sampel 40 orang dengan nilai korelasi > 0,312 (sig <0,05). Uji reliabilitas dinyatakan reliabel jika nilainya >0,600 dengan analisis Cronbach’s Alpha. Terdapat 14 item dari 16 pertanyaan yang valid dengan nilai r hitung 0,576; 0,494; 0,578; 0,561; 0,452; 0,391; 0,608; 0,482; 0,439; 0,516; 0,435; 0,365 dan 0,421 dengan nilai sig 0,05. Adapun untuk uji reliabilitas, nilai Alpha Cronbach sebesar 0,703 > 0,600. Kuesioner yang telah valid dan reliabel dapat digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur literasi malaria sebagai upaya peningkatan status dan awareness terhadap penyakit malaria.

The high incidence of cavities in children is caused by the habit of children who like sweet foods without being followed by the habit of brushing their teeth. Good and correct tooth brushing behavior is one part of efforts to maintain oral hygiene. The habit of maintaining dental and oral hygiene really needs to be instilled early on, one of the efforts that can be done is to provide knowledge about dental and oral health and how to brush your teeth properly and correctly. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and awareness of students at Kindergarten Yarsi Mataram about the importance of brushing their teeth properly and correctly, and the importance of building the habit of brushing their teeth from an early age. The methods used in this activity are playing and singing together, hands-on practice, quizzes, and giving prizes. This activity was realized through the collaboration of the service team consisting of lecturers and students. The result of this activity was an increase in awareness about the importance of brushing their teeth properly and correctly in Yarsi Mataram Kindergarten students, as well as the importance of building the habit of brushing their teeth from an early age.

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) from an early age in kindergarten children is very important to socialize. This is intended to educate kindergarten children about the importance of implementing PHBS in their daily activities. The introduction of PHBS at an early age is the ideal time to provide education so that the hope can be recorded in memory so that it becomes a habit until adulthood. There are many types of PHBS, one of which is washing your hands properly and correctly. This socialization activity aims to increase the knowledge of children at Yarsi Mataram Kindergarten about the importance of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) in children, as well as providing an understanding of the simple application of Clean and HealthyLiving Behavior. The results of the service are in the form of understanding and increasing awareness of kindergarten children about the importance of developing clean and healthy living habits that are easy for them to understand, such as how to wash their hands properly and correctly. So it is hoped that this simple understanding can become a habit for them to apply until they grow up.

Buah paprika merah (Capsicum annuum L.) mengandung diantaranya adalah vitamin E, vitamin C, karotenoid, dan kapsaisinoid yang dapat digunakan sebagai antioksidan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan pada ekstrak metanol dan fraksi n-heksan-etil asetat buah paprika merah. Buah paprika merah segar diekstraksi dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut metanol teknis kemudian difraksinasi secara bertingkat menggunakan pelarut n-heksan-dietil eter, hasil fraksi tidak larut n-heksan-dietil eter kemudian difraksinasi kembali menggunakan pelarut n-heksan-etil asetat. Fraksi n-heksan-etil asetat diuji secara kualitatif terhadap senyawa karotenoid yaitu Î²-karoten dengan uji KLT menggunakan fase diam silika gel F254 dan fase gerak metanol: aseton (1:1). Uji kuantitatif aktivitas antioksidan dilakukan dengan metode penangkapan radikal DPPH dengan parameter nilai IC50. Nilai IC50 selanjutnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 20. Hasil uji kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak metanol dan fraksi n-heksan-etil asetat mengandung senyawa Î²-karoten. Aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak metanol, fraksi n-heksan-etil asetat, dan standar Î²-karoten memiliki nilai IC50 berturut-turut sebesar 307,91, 281,69, dan 81,26 Î¼g/mL. Berdasarkan hasil statistik, nilai IC50 fraksi n-heksan-etil asetat lebih kecil signifikan apabila dibandingkan dengan ekstrak metanol buah paprika merah. Namun lebih besar apabila dibandingkan dengan standar Î²-karoten. Fraksi n-heksan-etil asetat memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang lebih poten apabila dibandingkan dengan ekstrak metanol buah paprika merah. Namun kurang poten apabila dibandingkan dengan standar Î²-karoten.

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi google drive sebagai media penyimpanan pada kegiatan pembelajaran pada siswa-siswi SMAN 1 Batulayar Lombok Barat. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada mereka tentang bagaimana cara penggunaan google drive sebagai media penyimpanan serta dapat memahami berbagai fitur-fitur yang ada pada aplikasi ini sehingga bisa dimanfaatkan pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan google drive, siswa dapat menyimpan file-file penting seperti tugas, makalah, presentasi, dan dokumen lainnya dengan slot gacor 777 aman di cloud. Selain itu, fitur kolaborasi dalam google drive memungkinkan siswa untuk bekerja sama secara real-time pada proyek kelompok atau berbagi dokumen dengan guru. Metode yang digunakan pada pelatihan ini adalah metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan simulasi. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini, mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai pentingnya aplikasi google drivesebagai media penyimpanan pada proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, dengan adanya pelatihan ini, memberikan pemahaman kepada para siswa tentang pentingnya menguasai teknologi pada zaman sekarang ini.
