Abstract

The existence of goods storage services as a substitute for visiting services during the Covid-19 pandemic certainly has a positive impact on prisoners and convicts, namely to prevent and break the chain of spread of Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) in the implementation of Correctional Duties and Functions at the Correctional Technical Implementing Unit. effectively. The procedures for safekeeping of goods include: Mandatory to have an identity card, Dress and be polite, Wear a mask, Everyone is only allowed to bring 1x deposit for correctional inmates, Forbidden to bring excessive deposited goods and Forbidden to bring items that are not allowed by the officer . The purpose of this study was to analyze the Implementation of the Goods Custody Service and video call Policy as a Substitute for Visiting Services during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period at the Kayu Agung Class IIB Correctional Institution. The problem in the research is the lack of human resources for the storage of goods and the lack of goods storage infrastructure, namely X-Ray tools because so far the storage of goods is still manual. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis technique. This study concludes that the overall implementation of the Goods Custody Service and video call Policy as a Substitute for Visiting Services During the Covid-19 Pandemic Period at the Class IIB Kayu Agung Penitentiary has been carried out properly, although in its implementation there are still obstacles/constraints such as the lack of human resources in the section Storage of goods and video call and goods storage infrastructure is still lacking, namely X-Ray tools because so far the storage of goods is still manual.

Abstract

The quality of education is greatly influenced by the professionalism and competence of teachers. Therefore, this study aims to determine the quality of teachers and strategies to improve the quality of teachers at SD Negeri Sugiwaras. This research used a qualitative approach and descriptive qualitative method. The strategies used by SD Negeri Sugiwaras to improve the quality of teachers are good, but special attention is needed in mastering technology and work culture within the school environment. In addition, the socialization of the organization's vision, mission, and objectives to all teachers and staff at SD Negeri Sugiwaras needs to continue to be carried out through meetings, discussions, and informal meetings. Furthermore, SD Negeri Sugiwaras can also carry out mentoring or coaching programs for teachers who need special guidance in developing their teaching quality and professionalism. This mentoring program can be conducted by senior teachers or the principal who already have experience and expertise in the field. With this mentoring program, it is hoped that teachers who need special guidance will be assisted in developing themselves and improving the quality of their teaching. Moreover, SD Negeri Sugiwaras can also conduct regular evaluations of teacher performance. This evaluation can be carried out by the principal or the curriculum development team that has been formed. With regular evaluation of teacher performance, it is expected to provide positive and negative feedback to improve teacher performance and the quality of teaching provided. This evaluation can also help teachers identify their weaknesses and strengths in teaching.

Abstract

This research shows that: overall the performance of school administrative staff in educational services at Talang Kelapa 4 State Junior High School, Banyuasin Regency has been well implemented, although there are still obstacles in its implementation, including: School administration staff is still lacking and facilities in implementing educational services are still lacking adequate. The indicators that have been implemented properly are accuracy, neatness, work speed of each employee, level of employee knowledge about work, employee obedience to work, employee ability to work together with others, employee ability to adapt to the environment, employee thinking and creativity , Ability to submit new ideas/proposals. While what has not been implemented properly is the ability of employees to adapt to work and the ability of employees to complete tasks / jobs.

Abstract

The enactment of Law Number 40 of 1999 concerning the Press and Law Number 32 of 2000 concerning Broadcasting has ushered the mass media business into a new paradigm, where freedom of speech, expression of thoughts, and opinions are implicated with the emergence of various local and national media, whether in print or electronic form. The quality, whether good or bad, of the content in mass media largely depends on the sharpness of journalists in seeking and selecting their news materials. In order to maintain professionalism, it is imperative for journalists to always use the correct methods and procedures in collecting, processing, and disseminating information while adhering firmly to professional ethics. The limited competence and quality of human resources of journalists covering the Provincial Government of South Sumatra have resulted in suboptimal journalistic activities, indicating a lack of knowledge and responsibility in accordance with the professionalism required. From this background, the author is interested in conducting research in the form of a thesis with the title: "Implementation of Journalistic Code of Ethics by Journalists in the South Sumatra Provincial Government." The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Journalistic Code of Ethics by journalists in the South Sumatra Provincial Government. The research method used by the researcher is a qualitative approach. Based on the research results, it is revealed that the Indonesian Journalists Association implements the Journalistic Code of Ethics by journalists in the South Sumatra Provincial Government based on four important aspects of implementation: a) Continuous Communication Process, b) Resources, c) Disposition/Attitude of Implementers, d) Bureaucratic Structure. It can be concluded that overall, the implementation of the Journalistic Code of Ethics by journalists in the South Sumatra Provincial Government has been carried out effectively.

Abstract

The End-of-Year Assessment is an activity carried out by educators to measure students' competency achievements at the end of the even semester. The implementation of the End-of-Year Assessment at the North District Elementary School in Ogan Ilir Regency already uses an online system or information technology-based approach with a Local Area Network (LAN) network. Some of the challenges faced in the implementation of the End-of-Year Assessment at the North District Elementary School include a lack of facilities, unstable internet connectivity, no specific time limit for the assessment, insufficient teacher competence in handling the assessment, with 40 percent of teachers not fully understanding the 2013 Curriculum. Some teachers still face difficulties in conducting the end-of-year assessment at the elementary school level. The objective of this research is to understand, describe, and analyze the implementation of the End-of-Year Assessment at the North District Elementary School in Ogan Ilir Regency. This research employs a descriptive approach with a qualitative method. The Management Implementation Theory according to Henry Fayol (2004:37) is used in this research, which consists of Planning, Organizing, Directing, Coordinating, and Supervising. The results show that some aspects are running well, while others are facing challenges, such as the End-of-Year Assessment implementation at the North District Elementary School in Ogan Ilir Regency. The planning involves holding meetings for the formation of the assessment committee based on the official decree, but there are challenges related to inadequate facilities like computers, limited internet connectivity, and insufficient teacher competence in conducting the End-of-Year Assessment.

Abstract

Community service in its implementation cannot be separated from the two other parts, namely Education and Teaching and Research. This community service was motivated by activities in Sei Lais Village, Kalidoni District, Palembang City. After conducting a survey in Sei Lais Village, Kalidoni District, RT 12 and RT 13 identified problems regarding waste management. Therefore, it is necessary to find a solution to reduce the amount of waste piled up. The right way is to run a waste management program with the "3R" pattern (reduce, reuse, recycle) in Sei Lais Village, Kalidoni District, Palembang City. The aim of this outreach is to provide additional information, increase public knowledge, and mobilize the behavior of the Sei Lais Village community to carry out waste management using the "3R" pattern in their respective homes. The method used is a coordination and implementation education at the activity location with several examples of items resulting from waste management using the "3R" pattern. The outreach activities went according to expectations, because they were supported by the seriousness of sub-district officials who encouraged their residents to take part in these outreach activities, the community was aware of the importance of the information provided, the community was interested in waste management using the "3R" pattern. The results of the outreach that had been carried out concluded that the community in Sei Lais Village did not yet know about "3R" waste management, because there had never been any education about this matter. Therefore, the community is very enthusiastic about the outreach material presented and will apply it at home.

Abstract

Supervision is an academic activity that involves monitoring by someone with higher and deeper knowledge and a keen sensitivity to understanding the object of their work with a clear mind. The issues identified through observation by the researcher include a lack of teachers' understanding of the implementation of supervision, inadequate supervisory oversight by the school principal, limited facilities and infrastructure at the school, teachers lacking the skills or competence to develop learning materials, the failure of teachers to use lesson plans (RPP) that reflect the design of learning activities, the continued use of conventional teaching methods, and low teacher education qualifications, which result in poor teacher quality.The purpose of this research is to identify, describe, and analyze the implementation of supervision of elementary school teachers in North Indralaya Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency. This study is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of the research show fairly good outcomes; goal-setting is currently being conducted in line with the guidelines provided by the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 40 of 2021, implemented through socialization by providing guidance and direction on the preparation of learning materials, learning implementation, and learning evaluation through discussion meetings. However, the facilities and infrastructure that support the supervision of elementary school teachers are still inadequate, as some equipment, such as laptops and projectors, is limited to only two units each, making it difficult for teachers to apply them in the classroom. Additionally, there is a lack of uniform supervisory oversight conducted by the principal and supervisors for teachers at SD Negeri 19 and SD Negeri 6 in North Indralaya Subdistrict, Ogan Ilir Regency.

Abstract

This research is titled “Implementation of the Rice Farming Business Insurance Policy (AUTP) in Upang Ceria Village, Muara Telang Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency.”The objectives of this study are:1)To identify and analyze the implementation of the Rice Farming Business Insurance Policy (AUTP) in Upang Ceria Village, Muara Telang Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency. 2)To identify and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of the Rice Farming Business Insurance Policy (AUTP) in Upang Ceria Village, Muara Telang Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency. The research method employed is a qualitative approach with a case study design. The data used consists of primary and secondary data. The data collection instruments include observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with officials from the Banyuasin Regency Office of Food Crops and Horticulture responsible for the implementation of the AUTP program, Field Agricultural Extension Officers (PPL) from Upang Ceria Village, and several farmers. The results of the study show that significant supporting factors contributing to achieving the program's goals include the premium payment facilitation program for rice farming businesses, executive and legislative support for agricultural insurance development, and the use of information technology (SIAP). However, several inhibiting factors were identified, such as the low participation rate of farmers in the AUTP program, the considerable distance of Jasindo's location from Banyuasin Regency, limited operational budgets at the regency level, suboptimal communication by policy implementers, and the insufficient number of personnel handling this sector.

Abstract

This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data used is based on type, namely quantitative data and qualitative data, while based on primary data sources and secondary data. Observations, interviews and documentation were used as data collection tools. The informants in this research were the Head of Other Regional Taxes, BPPD Palembang City; Head of Regional Tax Receivables Management Division BPPD Palembang City; Head of Regional Tax Assessment & Development Division BPPD Palembang City; Head of PBB & BPHTB BPPD Palembang City; Other related parties, Police / Kodim / Prosecutor's Office; People/taxpayers (individuals/business entities) who are tax compliant and tax non-compliant in Palembang City. The data analysis used is qualitative analysis with an interactive model. Based on the research results, it is concluded that the implementation of Regional Tax Policy in the City of Palembang has been implemented although it is not yet optimal.

Abstract

Implementation of District Integrated Administration (PATEN) is defined as sub-district activities in providing public services, where the procedures for submitting applications and controlling documents take place at one counter or service point. ) covers the licensing sector, in this case business permits, as well as house building services and non-licensing services, in this case for example making succession certificates. The existence of the District Integrated Administration Administration (PATEN) program can facilitate heir deed services for the community, showing enthusiasm from the community. The inheritance deed service is first carried out at the village/district office by bringing complete documents and certain conditions, and a court order is not used for implementation. The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of historical heritage protection in Plaju sub-district, Palembang city. The problems identified are: Many people do not understand the meaning and completeness of the requirements for making a succession certificate through the District Integrated Administration Program (PATEN) AND the time required to take care of succession matters is quite long. The data analysis technique used in this research is a qualitative data analysis technique. This research shows that: overall the implementation of historical heritage conservation in the Plaju Palembang area is going well
