Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the analysis of applications for handling corruption in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research is a qualitative research. Data or news is collected through interviews with informants. The result of the research shows that the analysis of the implementation of the Handling of Corruption Crimes in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency has been realized although there are still some obstacles. The following will present some conclusions as a result of the origin of the research activities as follows. based on the dimensions of Planning, the lack of available funds, and inadequate personnel capabilities due to mutations or rolling personnel. Another obstacle is the unavailability of facilities and infrastructure, such as the absence of tools for tracking telephone numbers from suspected corruption. According to the organizational dimension, the lack of coordination is one error using the Corruption Eradication Commission (Corruption Eradication Commission) which results in frequent clashes between law enforcement agencies, where all feel they have a share in a corruption crime. according to the dimensions of the Movement, socialization has been carried out through counseling, banners, through regional radio, information letters and through broadcasts or advertisements broadcast on television. Then the application of activities for handling corruption crimes has been carried out in accordance with existing mechanisms. based on the dimension of supervision, internal control has been carried out in stages in accordance with the organizational structure through tight evaluation of activities, briefings, direct supervision and through written reports. External supervision is carried out by the Election Eradication Commission (Corruption Eradication Commission), through personal introductions and online media. Citizens also as social control comes from handling corruption.

Abstract

Effectiveness Monitoring of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ilir Barat I District, Palembang is carried out by monitoring patients independently, in close contact with the use of smartphone applications. The use of smartphone applications can affect compliance to self-isolate or be regulated automatically through the smart phone application. The problems faced include the lack of coordination to monitor patients with confirmed COVID-19 between monitoring officers and health workers at the Puskesmas Ilir Barat I Palembang, and the lack of human resources capacity to monitor patients with confirmed COVID-19 disease using the SILACAK application. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of monitoring the COVID-19 disease in Ilir Barat I District, Palembang. This research is measured by the indicators of Organizational Effectiveness theory according to Duncan (1985) which consists of three dimensions as follows: Goal Achieving, Integration and Adaptation. Judging from the results of interviews and observations made that the Monitoring of Patients with Confirmed COVID-19 Disease in Ilir Barat I District, Palembang has been running effectively and efficiently. Achieving the Goal in this case Monitoring of Patients with Confirmed COVID-19 Disease in Ilir Barat I District, Palembang has coordinated the examination of confirmed COVID-19 disease. The ability of HR who conducts Puskesmas surveillance does not yet have the expertise because of the training provided to previous officers and still requires direct training by providing material related to contacts as a media for reporting confirmed COVID-19. Achievements and Targets Monitoring of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ilir Barat I District, Palembang has reached 80% of confirmed cases of COVID-19 through the contact SILACAK application

Abstract

The use of firearms by the National Police as part of the implementation of the use of force in police actions must be carried out in a manner that is not contrary to the rule of law, in line with legal obligations and continues to respect / uphold human rights, as stipulated in Article 8 of the National Police Chief Regulation Number 1 of 2009. In improving the sense of security and order while anticipating the occurrence of various problems in the field, currently police officers at the Directorate of Intelkam Polda South Sumatra for new members are taking psychological tests for the use of firearms to be used by these police officers on duty. This firearms use test is in order to improve the security and order facilities of officers in maintaining security and order in the community. there are several problems related to the use of firearms at the Directorate of Intelkam Polda South Sumatra including: 1) The tight administrative requirements in obtaining permission to use firearms at the Directorate of Intelkam Polda South Sumatra, 2) The absence of regular maintenance and rejuvenation activities for existing firearms for police officers at the Directorate of Intelkam Polda South Sumatra. Based on the identification of these problems, the formulation of the problem is how the effectiveness of the use of firearms at the Directorate of Intelkam Polda South Sumatra. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the use of firearms at the Directorate of Intelkam Polda South Sumatra. This research uses a qualitative approach supported by quantitative data. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the activities of using firearms at the Directorate of Intelkam Polda South Sumatra at the Directorate of Intelkam Polda South Sumatra have been running effectively, the use of firearms at the Directorate of Intelkam Polda South Sumatra can improve the performance of police officers who are working.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the Accreditation of Job Training Institutions at the Manpower and Transmigration Office of South Sumatra Province in 2021. The type of data used in this research is included in the type of qualitative data obtained from interviews with informants, besides that this research also refers to books , regulations, documents, journals and other literature that are considered relevant to this research. This study uses G.R Terry's theory using management functions namely Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling. The first dimension is Planning, both in terms of Human Resources planning who already have competence in their respective fields, as well as from planning the implementation of well-planned activities, starting from the implementation of technical guidance on accreditation until the plenary meeting is held. The second dimension is that the organization can be said to be good, because the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of South Sumatra Province, KA-LPK and the team of assessors have carried out their duties assigned to people according to their abilities, and allocated resources, and coordinated them in the accreditation activities.

Abstract

Carrying out anchoring activities, the province has the right to determine a distance of 12 miles from sea level, while the remaining rights are under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. Ship docking service fees are determined in accordance with Government Regulation No. 75 of 2015 concerning Tariffs for Types of Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) in the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. This tariff is based on the price set by the port authority in accordance with government regulations, and the calculation is as follows: For ships weighing less than 30 GT that are in port for less than 30 days, rates are calculated based on the number of days used. For ships weighing more than 30 GT which are anchored for less than 30 days, the rate is calculated based on the number of days, length of the ship, and price per ΒΌ etmal of IDR 750 (IDR 3000). This research aims to analyze the quality of anchoring services in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for River, Lake, Ferry and Sea Transport (UPTD PASDSPL) South Sumatra Province. The problems identified in this research are delays in issuing bills for docking services and frequent delays in ship departure schedules. The data analysis method used in this research is qualitative data analysis. The results of this research show that overall, UPTD PASDSPL South Sumatra Province provides good anchoring services. However, there are still several obstacles and obstacles, especially related to the long process of issuing docking service bills and frequent delays in ship departure schedules.

Abstract

Implementing online learning is not an easy task in Indonesia. In the implementation process, there are many limitations and problems that occur in the field. This research was carried out at the Sriwijaya State Sports School on the grounds that the school had implemented online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, in practice many problems were found. The goal to be achieved in this research is to find out and describe the implementation of Online Learning for students of the Sriwijaya State Sports School. The type of this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Descriptive research presents a description of a situation or social phenomenon in detail. Conclusion, as follows: (1). Implementation of Online Learning Policy at the Sriwijaya State Sports School for the communication dimension of this policy implemented well starting from disseminating information to socializing the policy, however the implementation was limited. (2) Resource dimension, with indicators of human resources, adequate supporting facilities and infrastructures, and for funding resources in accordance to their designation. (3). Disposition dimensions with officers' commitment indicators and coordination with related parties. Implemented in accordance with the commitment of policy implementers and coordinated with related parties. (4) Dimensions of the bureaucratic structure, Requirements for Obtaining Services Service Processes/Procedures, the Online Learning Policy at the Sriwijaya State Sports School is in accordance with existing procedures and rules.

Abstract

The Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) is an integral part of the police in handling general crimes. This research aims to analyze the role of the Criminal Investigation Unit in handling general crimes at the Palembang Police. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews and observation. The research results show that the Criminal Investigation Unit has a very important role in handling general criminal acts, starting from investigations, arrests, investigations, to prosecution. They work professionally and coordinate with other units in the police to achieve success in law enforcement. However, there are still several obstacles such as limited human resources and infrastructure that affect the performance of the Criminal Investigation Unit. Therefore, better efforts are needed in providing support to the Criminal Investigation Unit so that it can be more effective in handling general crimes at the Palembang Police.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the analysis of the implementation of logistics assistance operations in the West Papua region. The research method used is a qualitative method with data analysis techniques, data collection, data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing/verification. The object of this research was the Badminton Task Force in West Papua, totaling 7 informants who conducted interviews. Problem identification in this research discusses the defense equipment used in implementing logistical assistance, unpredictable weather factors, and the operational terrain traversed. The results of the research carried out show that the implementation of logistics assistance activities in West Papua has shown good results, runs in accordance with existing procedures, and all logistics activities to meet needs are running quite well and are supported by TNI Headquarters. TNI Headquarters will support the needs of goods and services for troops during operational duties.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of policies on registration procedures for micro and small enterprises (UMK) in Alang-Alang Lebar District, Palembang City. The MSE registration policy is an important step in supporting the growth of the informal sector and ensuring the sustainability of small businesses in the region. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods through in-depth interviews with business actors and sub-district officials, as well as field observations. The research results show that the implementation of this policy has gone quite well, although there are still several obstacles, such as a lack of socialization and public understanding of registration procedures, as well as limited human resources at the sub-district level. Factors that influence implementation effectiveness include apparatus capacity, awareness of business actors, as well as technological and infrastructure support. Recommendations are given to increase outreach, strengthen apparatus capacity, and utilize technology to speed up the MSE registration process in Alang-Alang Lebar District. With these improvements, it is hoped that the policy can be more effective in encouraging local economic growth and improving community welfare.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of visiting service policies at the Class II B Kayuagung Correctional Institution during the New Normal era. This policy was implemented in response to the COVID-19 pandemic which required adjustments to visiting procedures to maintain the health and safety of inmates, staff and visitors. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and document study. The research results show that the visiting service policy at the Class II B Kayuagung Prison includes several significant changes, such as limiting the number of visitors, implementing strict health protocols, and using technology for virtual visits. Although this policy aims to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19, there are several challenges in its implementation, including limited infrastructure to support virtual visits and resistance from some visitors to new procedures.Further discussion reveals that the successful implementation of this policy is highly dependent on effective outreach, training for officers, as well as improving technological facilities. The conclusion of this research is that although the New Normal era visiting service policy at the Class II B Kayuagung Prison has made a positive contribution in preventing the spread of COVID-19, various efforts are still needed to overcome existing challenges to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of this policy.
