Abstract

Islam gained great attention in the study of religion due to the development and global influence on the world Muslim population. An understanding of Islam as a religion and understanding of religion from the viewpoint of Islam is an issue that needs to be elaborated in the discussion and the discussion in the field of religious studies. The failure of religious studies to standardize itself as a 'discipline', although many emerging religious studies. The position of those who want to ask "how" to learn Islam as a religion perplexed by tendencies on compartmentalization in education. The failure of religious studies to standardize itself as a scientific discipline, but the outlook is promising because someday they may be separate disciplines by seeking consensus regarding curriculum, problem solving, and performance criteria and become academic background. From a more narrow academic context, so any problem that arises is the study of religion as a whole.

Abstract

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the holistic education concept applied in the Assajidin Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT). The study used a qualitative approach involving the participation of 7 teachers and 20 students as key informants. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, class observations, and analysis of related documents. The results of the study show that SDIT Assajidin applies a holistic educational approach that includes intellectual, emotional, physical, social and spiritual aspects. Teachers at SDIT Assajidin act as facilitators in creating a learning environment that supports the overall development of students. They use a variety of active, innovative, and creative learning strategies to facilitate students' conceptual understanding and character development. In addition, students at SDIT Assajidin are actively involved in learning through group discussions, collaborative projects, and relevant extracurricular activities. This learning process helps students to develop critical thinking skills, creativity, communication, cooperation, and leadership. During the implementation of the curriculum, SDIT Assajidin instilled Islamic values ​​in all aspects of learning, both in religious and non-religious subjects. Teachers also help students understand and apply Islamic values ​​in everyday life through examples and real experiences. This study provides an overview of the implementation of the holistic education concept at SDIT Assajidin. The results of this study are expected to provide deeper insight and understanding of holistic educational practices in an integrated Islamic school environment. The implications of this research can be used as input for curriculum development and holistic educational practices at SDIT as well as being a reference for other schools interested in adopting a similar approach.

Abstract

The development of the science of development is slowly growing rapidly, more so in the western world based on the main base, namely rationalism, and empiricism. However, it is in contrast to the treasures of Islamic scholarship which stagnated due to differences in perceptions of accepting or rejecting science which only stems from rationalism and empiricism. Based on this anxiety, there was an effort made by one of the leading Muslim figures named M. Abid Al Jabiri who tried to construct ideas about the importance of the development of science in Islamic treasures with an Islamic epistemological approach. Therefore, this paper was appointed to reveal more deeply how the views of M. Abid Al Jabiri in the development of Islamic scientific treasures with an Islamic Epistemology approach so that with his view it provides a solution to confusion and adversity in the development of Islamic scholarship. This study method uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. Through this type of research, the author collects various references regarding the views of M. Abid Al Jabiri on Islamic epistemology which the authors then analyze and can finally produce a conclusion. The results of this study conclude that in M. Abid Al Jabiri's view, Islamic epistemology through Bayani, Irfan, and Burhani epistemologies is an answer to how important it is to use Islamic epistemology for the development of Islamic scholarship so that it does not lag behind the dominance of Western scientific development.
