Abstract

Salah satu tindak kekerasan yang sering terjadi di sekolah adalah bullying. Permasalahan bullying tidak hanya dialami oleh siswa di sekolah regular, melainkan banyak pula yang terjadi pada siswa di sekolah inklusi khususnya terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Bullying merupakan salah satu bentuk permasalahan hubungan sosial, yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya keterampilan sosial yang dimiliki oleh pelaku. Maka salah satu cara yang diprediksi dapat mereduksi yakni dengan meningkatkan fungsi sosial melalui program intervensi berupa social skills training. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk melihat efektivitas social skills training dalam mereduksi intensitas bullying pada remaja. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah tiga orang yang berada pada rentang usia remaja. Partisipan merupakan pelaku bullying pada jenjang sekolah menengah pertama di salah satu sekolah inklusi. Partisipan akan mengikuti social skills training selama enam sesi yang berdurasi sekitar 90-120 menit tiap sesinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan single case experiment design, dengan pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan juga self-report melalui pengisian skala perilaku bullying dan skala keterampilan sosial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa social skills training memiliki pengaruh pada penurunan intensitas bullying, hanya saja penurunan tidak terjadi secara signifikan. Penanganan permasalahan bullying sebaiknya tidak hanya ditujukan kepada pelaku ataupun korban, melainkan dengan whole-school approach, sehingga pihak sekolah dan orang tua dapat turut serta dalam penanggulangan masalah bullying yang terjadi.

Abstract

Abstract. Bullying has become one of the most common violent behaviors among adolescents worldwide. The current study examined the relationship between family functioning, happiness at school, and self-esteem with bullying among adolescents. A total of 121 adolescents (45 males and 76 females) aged between 12 – 15 years were recruited through simple random sampling. The measuring instruments were the Family Functioning in Adolescence Questionnaire (FFAQ), School Children’s Happiness Inventory (SCHI), Self-Esteem Scale (SSC), and Multidimensional Peer Victimization Scale (MPVS). Data were analyzed with multiple correlation techniques. The results showed that family functioning, happiness at school, and self-esteem were simultaneously correlated with bullying with negative direction. These findings have shown the importance of the roles of family and school to prevent bullying acts among adolescents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on career adaptability, determine the effect of social support on career adaptability, and determine the effect of emotional intelligence and social support on career adaptability in fresh graduates of Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of causality research. Participants in this study amounted to 177 people. The sampling technique used was the non-probability sampling accidental technique. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out on the major hypothesis testing, the results show that the influence of emotional intelligence and social support variables together on career adaptability in fresh graduates of Hang Tuah University Surabaya is 62.4%. In the results of the minor hypothesis test, it was found that the effective contribution of emotional intelligence to career adaptability was 62%, the rest was influenced by variables not included in the study and the effective contribution of social support to career adaptability was 21% and the rest was influenced by variables not included in the study. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap adaptabilitas karier, mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap adaptabilitas karier, mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan dukungan sosial terhadap adaptabilitas karier pada fresh graduate Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kausalitas. Partisipan dalan penelitian ini berjumlah 177 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probality sampling accidental. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan pada pengujian hipotesis mayor diperoleh hasil bahwa pengaruh variabel kecerdasan emosional dan dukungan sosial secara bersama-sama terhadap adaptabilitas karier pada fresh graduate Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya sebesar 62,4%. Pada hasil uji hipotesis minor, ditemukan bahwa sumbangan efektif kecerdasan emosional terhadap adaptabilitas karier sebesar 62% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak ikut diteliti dan sumbangan efektif dukungan sosial terhadap adaptabilitas karier sebesar 21% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak ikut diteliti.

Abstract

Bullying between students that occurs in schools is a very worrying phenomenon for psychologists, teachers and families in many countries including Indonesia. This study aims to find out differences in bullying behavior in adolescents in terms of birth order. According to Adler, birth order and interactions within the family are related to a variety of psychological and social factors. The research subjects were 96 adolescents who had birth order as the eldest child, middle child, youngest child and only child, using purposive sampling technique. The scale used is adolescent peer relations from Parada, to measure the frequency of bullying. The data analysis technique used the Mann Whitney u-test. The results showed that there was no difference in the average bullying behavior of the eldest child and middle child (sig 0.341 < 0.05), the eldest child and youngest child (sig 0.277 < 0.05), the eldest child and only child (sig 0.330). < 0.05), middle child with youngest child (sig 0.077 < 0.05), youngest child with only child (sig 0.901 < 0.05). Meanwhile, in middle and only children, there was a difference in average bullying behavior (sig 0.043 < 0.05). The results of this study can be used as a basis for designing bullying prevention programs based on birth order. Bullying antarsiswa yang terjadi di sekolah merupakan fenomena yang sangat mengkhawatirkan psikolog, guru dan keluarga di banyak negara termasuk di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perilaku bullying pada remaja ditinjau dari urutan kelahiran. Menurut Adler, urutan kelahiran dan interaksi dalam keluarga berkaitan dengan berbagai faktor psikologis dan sosial. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 96 remaja yang memiliki urutan kelahiran sebagai anak sulung, anak tengah, anak bungsu dan anak tunggal, dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Skala yang digunakan adalah adolescent peer relation dari Parada, untuk mengukur frekuensi bullying. Teknik analisis data menggunakan mann whitney  u-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan rata-rata perilaku bullying pada remaja anak sulung dengan anak tengah (sig 0,341 < 0,05), anak sulung dengan anak bungsu (sig 0,277 < 0,05), anak sulung dengan anak tunggal (sig 0,330 < 0,05), anak tengah dengan anak bungsu (sig 0,077 < 0,05), anak bungsu dengan anak tunggal (sig 0,901 < 0,05). Sedangkan pada remaja anak tengah dan anak tunggal, terdapat perbedaan rata-rata perilaku bullying (sig 0,043 < 0,05). Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant influence between career counseling services and self efficacy on career maturity of students of the Indo Baruna cruise. This research uses a quantitative approach with survey research method, Using multiple regression analysis technique. Collecting data using questionnaire compiled using Likert scale, with details of career maturity scale of 48 items, 40 career advisory service scores, and self-efficacy scale of 36 items. The number of subjects in this study were 98 students from class X and class XI. The sampling technique in this research is with a saturated sampling technique. The results showed that the hypothesis that there was a significant influence between career guidance services and self efficacy at Indo Baruna cruise Surabaya accepted, with a 20.2% contribution. The first minor hypothesis was received by a contribution of 17.1%. The second minor hypothesis there was a significant influence between self efficacy on career maturity of studentsof Indo Indouna cruise received, with 8.8% contribution.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-esteem and fear of missing out (FoMO) and the relationship between life satisfaction and fear of missing out (FoMO) in adolescents. This research used a quantitative approach with survey research methods. The number of subjects as many as 384 youth with an age range of 12-23 years in Surabaya, selected by purposive sampling technique. This study used three scales, namely the self-esteem scale consisting of 12 items, the life satisfaction scale having 14 items and the fear of missing out (FoMO) scale having 15 items. The results showed that there was a relationship between self-esteem and fear of missing out (FoMO) in adolescents with a positive relationship. Other results show that there is a relationship between life satisfaction and fear of missing out (FoMO) in adolescents with a negative relationship. The results of this study can be used as a reference for further research related to fear of missing out (FoMO).

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of task aversiveness and fear of failure on academic procrastination in students of the Faculty of Psychology at Hang Tuah University. There were 202 participan in the study. The sampling technique used quota sampling. Analysis of hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression. This study uses a scale of task aversiveness, fear of failure and academic procrastination. The results showed that there was a significant effect of task aversiveness and fear of failure on academic procrastination with an R Square value of 0.148. Other results show that the correlation coefficient of task aversiveness on academic procrastination is 11.1% and fear of failure on academic procrastination is 13.6%.

Abstract

Self-regulated learning is an individual's ability to regulate himself in terms of learning independently by involving metacognition, motivation, and behavior so that learning goals are achieved. Self-regulated learning has factors that can influence it, including self-efficacy and goal orientation. This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and goal orientation with self-regulated learning. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational type. Respondents were students of the Faculty of Psychology, Hang Tuah University, Surabaya class of 2019. Respondents totaled 75 students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. This study uses a self-regulated learning scale, a self-efficacy scale, and a goal orientation scale. The results of the study show that self-efficacy and goal orientation together have a significant positive relationship with self-regulated learning with an effective variable contribution of 58.4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of: The effect of organizational climate on turnover intention at PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero) Surabaya, influence of kualitas kehidupan kerja on turnover intention at PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero) Surabaya, the effect of organizational climate and kualitas kehidupan kerja together on turnover intention at PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero) Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach with survey method data and uses multiple regression analysis techniques. Data collection uses a turnover intention scale, an organizational climate scale, and a kualitas kehidupan kerja scale. The number of subjects in this study were 75 employees of the general engineering division of PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero) Surabaya. The sampling technique in this study used accidental sampling. The first minor hypothesis was accepted. The second minor hypothesis was accepted, proves that the organizational climate and kualitas kehidupan kerja affect turnover intention at PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero) Surabaya. The results showed that the level of turnover intention owned by employees of PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero) Surabaya was in the medium category.

Abstract

Bullying has occurred in various types of schools, including Islamic boarding schools. The Al-Amanah Junwangi Modern Islamic Boarding School is no exception. Partners experience two problems: (1) teachers lack knowledge about bullying and its handling; and (2) students engage in bullying. Partners are aware of the dangers of bullying, so there is a need for an anti-bullying program. One solution is to provide knowledge and insight about bullying or anti-bullying lessons. To address the second problem, the solution is to implement anti-bullying lessons directly with students. We implemented the method by using lectures interspersed with questions and answers, discussions, viewing videos, games, case studies, and simulations. There were 46 anti-bullying lesson participants, with details of 16 teachers, 15 Santri, and 15 female students. The results of the implementation showed an increase in understanding about bullying and its impacts by 16% and an increase in practical sessions by 38% among teachers. Meanwhile, students showed an increase in understanding about bullying and its impacts by 19%, and female students by 10%. Other results show that female students are able to demonstrate behavior against bullying completely, while 58% of students are able to demonstrate stay-calm behavior, 33% feel good about you, and 75% don't be quite.
