Abstract

Abstrak. Sebagian besar anak yang tinggal di panti asuhan memiliki dinamika psikologis yang berbeda dengan anak lain pada umumnya. Permasalahan, pergesekan antara teman di dalam panti, dan ketiadaan peran orang tua lengkap dalam hidup anak akan menimbulkan perasaan inkompeten jika dibandingkan dengan anak lain dan muncul pula perasaan tidak berharga. Dua aspek ini akan mempengaruhi self-esteemyang dimiliki anak.Self-esteem sangat dibutuhkan oleh anak.Self-esteem yang baik dikaitkan dengan regulasi diri yang baik, kesehatan mental dan tingginya psychology wellbeing. Sebaliknya, anak yang memiliki self-esteem rendah dikaitkan dengan rendahnya prestasi akademik, rendahnya motivasi belajar bahkan kecenderungan depresi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan self-esteem untuk meningkatkan self-esteem pada remaja di panti asuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain one group pretestposttest design dengan 1 kalipretestdan 1 kali posttest. Teknik sampling menggunakanpurposive sampling. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah pemberian Pelatihan Self-esteem. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (RSES) dari Rosenberg. Analisis uji hipotesis menggunakan wilcoxon signed rank test dengan bantuan softwarepengolah data. Berdasarkan hasil dari perhitungan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test didapatkan hasil positive ranks 14 dengan nilai z didapat -3.277 dengan p value (asymp sig 2 tailed) 0,001(< 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor self-esteem sebelum dan setelah adanya treatment. Positive ranks menunjukkan sampel nilai kelompok kedua (posttest) lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai kelompok pertama (pretest). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan self-esteem dapat meningkatkan self-esteem pada remaja di Panti Asuhan “X” Surabaya. Kata Kunci : Self-esteem, Remaja, Panti asuhan Abstract.Most children who live in orphanages have psychological dynamics that are different from other children in general. Problems, friction between friends in the orphanage, and the absence of a complete parent role in a child's life will lead to feelings of incompetence when compared with other children and feelings of worthlessness arise. These two aspects will affect children's self-esteem. Self-esteem is needed by children. Good self-esteem is associated with good self regulation, mental health and high psychology wellbeing. Conversely, children who have low self-esteem are associated with low academic achievement, low motivation to learn and even a tendency to depression. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of self-esteem training to improve self-esteem in adolescents in orphanages. This study uses a type of quantitative research experiment with the design of one group pretest posttest design with 1 pretest and 1 posttest. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The treatment given is the provision of Self-esteem Training. The research data was collected using Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale (RSES) from Rosenberg. Hypothesis analysis uses the Wilcoxon-marked rank test with the help of data processing software. Based on the results of the calculation of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test obtained a positive ranking of 14 results with z values obtained -3,277 with p values (asymp sig 2 tailed) 0.001 (<0.05). This shows a significant difference between self-esteem scores before and after treatment. Positive rating shows the sample value of the second group (posttest) is higher than the value of the first group (pretest). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas behavioral parent training untuk menurunkan stres pengasuhan pada ibu yang memiliki anak dengan ADHD. Desain penelitian ini adalah eksperimen kuasi dengan dua kelompok, kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 9 orang ibu yang memiliki anak dengan ADHD. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Parenting Stress Index-Short Form (PSI-SF), modul Behavioral Parent Training, observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data menggunakan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa behavioral parent training efektif untuk menurunkan stres pengasuhan pada ibu yang memiliki anak dengan ADHD. Stres pengasuhan ibu menurun secara signifikan setelah mengikuti behavioral parent training. Hal ini berarti bahwa konten pelatihan behavioral parent training yang menitikberatkan pada peningkatan kemampuan ibu dalam mengelola stres dan peningkatan sumber daya, kompetensi ibu dalam menghadapi anak dan peningkatan persepsi ibu terhadap kemampuannya terbukti efektif.

Abstract

Abstract. Bullying has become one of the most common violent behaviors among adolescents worldwide. The current study examined the relationship between family functioning, happiness at school, and self-esteem with bullying among adolescents. A total of 121 adolescents (45 males and 76 females) aged between 12 – 15 years were recruited through simple random sampling. The measuring instruments were the Family Functioning in Adolescence Questionnaire (FFAQ), School Children’s Happiness Inventory (SCHI), Self-Esteem Scale (SSC), and Multidimensional Peer Victimization Scale (MPVS). Data were analyzed with multiple correlation techniques. The results showed that family functioning, happiness at school, and self-esteem were simultaneously correlated with bullying with negative direction. These findings have shown the importance of the roles of family and school to prevent bullying acts among adolescents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on career adaptability, determine the effect of social support on career adaptability, and determine the effect of emotional intelligence and social support on career adaptability in fresh graduates of Hang Tuah University, Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of causality research. Participants in this study amounted to 177 people. The sampling technique used was the non-probability sampling accidental technique. Based on the results of data analysis that has been carried out on the major hypothesis testing, the results show that the influence of emotional intelligence and social support variables together on career adaptability in fresh graduates of Hang Tuah University Surabaya is 62.4%. In the results of the minor hypothesis test, it was found that the effective contribution of emotional intelligence to career adaptability was 62%, the rest was influenced by variables not included in the study and the effective contribution of social support to career adaptability was 21% and the rest was influenced by variables not included in the study. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap adaptabilitas karier, mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial terhadap adaptabilitas karier, mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan dukungan sosial terhadap adaptabilitas karier pada fresh graduate Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kausalitas. Partisipan dalan penelitian ini berjumlah 177 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probality sampling accidental. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan pada pengujian hipotesis mayor diperoleh hasil bahwa pengaruh variabel kecerdasan emosional dan dukungan sosial secara bersama-sama terhadap adaptabilitas karier pada fresh graduate Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya sebesar 62,4%. Pada hasil uji hipotesis minor, ditemukan bahwa sumbangan efektif kecerdasan emosional terhadap adaptabilitas karier sebesar 62% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak ikut diteliti dan sumbangan efektif dukungan sosial terhadap adaptabilitas karier sebesar 21% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel yang tidak ikut diteliti.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental social support and self-efficacy with anxiety looking for work in the COVID-19 era in fresh graduates of University X. This study uses a quantitative survey. Subjects 218 fresh graduates. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling. the scale used in this study: the social support scale of parents; self efficacy scale ; anxiety scale. The results of data analysis obtained there is a relationship between self-efficacy and job search anxiety, there is a relationship between social support and student anxiety. A new finding in this study is that parental social support has a positive correlation with job-seeking anxiety in the COVID-19 era, meaning that the higher the social support, the higher the job-seeking anxiety. Shows parental social support, makes fresh graduates feel anxious and afraid to disappoint their parents when they don't get a job and fresh graduates choose to look for work independently so they don't bother their parents.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aimed to determine the influence of safety climate and competence on safety behavior among seafarers at PT. Rajawali Berlian Surabaya. This research utilized a quantitative correlation approach. Respondents in this study were 60 sailors selected using saturated sampling techniques. The measuring instruments used include the safety climate scale, competency scale, and safety behavior scale. Data were analyzed using multiple regression techniques. The research results showed that safety climate and competence influenced safety behavior among sailors by 70.3%. Other results revealed that safety climate contributed to safety behavior among seafarers by 67.3%; competency in safety behavior among sailors was 51.6%. These research findings can be used as an intervention design related to work safety for seafarers.
