Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of lifestyle, pocket money and financial literacy on consumptive behavior partially and simultaneously in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra. This research is a quantitative research with data collection using a questionnaire. The population in this study were students of the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah North Sumatra in 2018. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling method. Primary data processing using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) analysis technique with multiple regression analysis method. The results of this study conclude that individually (partial) lifestyle on consumptive behavior has a positive and significant effect, pocket money and financial literacy have no significant effect on consumptive behavior while simultaneously lifestyle, pocket money and financial literacy have a positive and significant effect on consumptive behavior.

Abstract

Adapun masalah yang sering dialami oleh masyarakat,mahasiswa,anak kost, dan Wisatawan yang datang ke Pekanabaru yang dimana mereka tidak memiliki motor tetapi memiliki keperluan mendesak dan bagi wisatawan yang ingin berjalan jalan menikmati kota pekanbaru.Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah rancangan aplikasi yang dapat membantu dan memudahkan user dalam merental motor secara online .Dalam proses perancangan UI/UX aplikasi Saremo menggunakan metode Design Thinking yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu Emphatize, Define, Prototype, dan Testing. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa desain UI/UX aplikasi Samaron mudah digunakan dan dapat digunakan oleh orang yang memiliki keperluan mendesak dengan ingin menyewa motor sesuai baged. Hasil analisis dari data survei dengan menggunakan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) mendapatkan skor 71,625 yang berada di kategori adjective rating didapatkan hasil Good. Sementara untuk hasil grade scale adalah “C”.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of socioeconomic status (SES) on health behaviors and outcomes among Indonesian adolescents. Using data from schools across regions with varied socio-economic profiles, the research examines how income, education, and family stability affect physical activity, dietary habits, and mental health in adolescents. Results reveal that lower SES is associated with unhealthy behaviors and poorer health outcomes, such as reduced physical activity, imbalanced diets, and higher levels of stress. These findings suggest a pressing need for tailored interventions in low-income areas to improve adolescent health outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to outline the methods that educators employ when instructingstudents in language. Qualitative descriptive research examines information gathered fromEnglish teachers' interviews. Considering the outcomes, inferences regarding the teacher'stactics have been drawn from the interviews. The instructors that are employed include: (1)Game Use: Teachers play games like "scramble for word meaning," look for synonyms andantonyms, and translate terms in English. (2) Using a Student Ability Level-BasedApproach Three groups of students are formed: Low-level: To encourage interest inEnglish, learning is made more enjoyable and participatory. High and medium level: amore somber strategy with difficult assignments and minimal gameplay. (3) MakingVocabulary Development a High Priority Teachers are aware that students' inadequatevocabulary is the biggest barrier to learning English. In order for pupils to be prepared fora higher level of learning and comprehend the material more readily, the emphasis isplaced on vocabulary development. (4) Technology Utilization: Worksheets and Quizizz areexamples of digital media that are used to add variety and interest to learning. (5) LanguageApproach: Teachers aid pupils in understanding concepts by selecting simpler terms,offering synonyms, or supplying equations in Indonesian. (6) Rewards as Motivation:Students are encouraged to compete and learn more enthusiastically by receiving thereward.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan fondasi utama dalam membentuk perkembangan kepribadian siswa secara menyeluruh sejak usia dini di sekolah dasar. Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) memberikan kesempatan yang sangat strategis dan praktis untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moral dan sosial secara kontekstual dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga materi yang disampaikan menjadi lebih bermakna dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Guru memegang peranan penting dan strategis sebagai fasilitator sekaligus teladan yang perilakunya dapat mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter peserta didik secara signifikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur yang komprehensif untuk mengkaji peran guru dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran IPS. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan karakter sangat dipengaruhi oleh kreativitas dan dedikasi guru, adanya lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung dan kondusif, serta kolaborasi yang erat antara sekolah dengan orang tua dan masyarakat sekitar. Meskipun terdapat berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan sarana dan perbedaan latar belakang peserta didik, peluang untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter tetap terbuka lebar. Hal ini dapat diwujudkan melalui inovasi metode pembelajaran yang efektif serta kebijakan pendidikan yang mendukung pengembangan karakter sebagai tujuan utama. Pada akhirnya, pendidikan karakter melalui IPS bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab, melainkan investasi penting bagi masa depan generasi penerus bangsa
