Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh anggapan umum bahwa madrasah merupakan kelas dua dibandingkan dengan sekolah umum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ingin menampilkan karakteristik “Madrasah Model”. Metode penelitian ini adalah literature review. Sumber data diperoleh dari buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal yang ada kaitannya dengan topik yang diteliti. Temuan diperoleh melalui deduksi dan wacana kritis, bukan melalui pengolahan data primer. Studi ini menggunakan content analysis (analisis isi) sebagai pendekatan dalam analisis data. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Madrasah Model memiliki keunggulan dari aspek kurikulum, boarding school (asrama), memiliki pusat sumber belajar bersama, SDM yang profesional, muatan lokal dan ekstra kurikuler yang fleksibel dan islami. Dengan demikian penelitian ini sangat penting agar Madrasah Model menjadi Center for Excellence bagi madrasah lain untuk melakukan inovasi kelembagaan pendidikan Islam serta dapat dikembangkan pada masing-masing Kabupaten/Kota bahkan Kecamatan.

Abstract

The Arabic language learning curriculum in universities in Islamic Banking Study Program of STEBANK follows the institution's curriculum. The study program formulates its curriculum in addition to being based on the KKNI formulation also based on needs and environmental analysis, then from these formulations various competency standards that must be mastered will be produced in order to reflect competence of graduates according to the curriculum, the study program imposes the burden on Arabic language learning to master certain Arabic language skills that support graduate competence. The research method used is qualitative approach. The data collection technique is documentation, while the purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the use of the Arabic curriculum in the Islamic banking study program STEBANK, tertiary institution. The Arabic language curriculum in this program is designed so that students are able to master the basic elements of Arabic and are able to master the elements of Arabic skills, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing in the fields of Muamalah and Islamic Economics.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover and formulate a conceptual model, implementation strategy, and impact assessment of building prophetic character in students to address sociocultural changes in the global era. Using a qualitative multi-case study design, research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta (MAS) Al-Ittifaqiah 2 Ogan Ilir and Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 3 Palembang. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation. Findings reveal that the vision is based on four pillars—the Qur'an and Hadith, culture, Pancasila, and government—while addressing consumer needs and anticipating sociocultural changes. This vision incorporates values of humanization, liberation, and transcendence, aiming to create "Ulama-intellectuals and intellectuals-Ulama." The model is executed through four pathways: formal education (KBM PAI) to establish an understanding of prophetic values, school-boarding culture to practice these values habitually and build discipline, extracurricular activities to stimulate the internal application of prophetic values, and family and environment to provide external control and reinforcement. Internal and external sociocultural factors act as both supporting and inhibiting instruments. The program fosters individual and social transformation, increasing participation in religious, environmental, and social activities. It also enhances the Madrasah's image as a holistic institution, addresses sociocultural anomalies, and promotes the prophetic paradigm, resulting in a resilient and adaptable prophetic character framework suitable for the global era. The study introduces the Interconnected-Prophetic Elaboration to Sociocultural Change (I-PESC) model, which effectively builds prophetic character, balancing spiritual and social dimensions while promoting unity and moderation. Future research should incorporate field studies to validate these findings and provide more robust evidence.

Abstract

Abstrak. Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan Rahmatan lil Alamin (P5RA) merupakan program penguatan karakter dalam kurikulum merdeka. Program tersebut dapat diwujudkan melalui Program Moderasi Beragama (PMB) pada sekolah menengah keagamaan. Kedua program tersebut, merupakan kebijakan pemerintah yang perlu diinisiasi pelaksanaannya di lapangan. Penelitian ini didasarkan keinginan untuk peningkatan toleransi dan menghindari ancaman sikap intoleransi dan radiklisme di kalangan pelajar menengah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa latar belakang adanya kegiatan PMB melalui P5RA serta bagaimana implementasi sinergitas kedua kegiatan tersebut pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN 1 Kota Malang). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang didukung dengan kegiatan observasi dan wawancara mendalam kepada para informan terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dengan kurikulum P5RA mampu membentuk karakter siswa yang moderat, toleran, dan inklusif. PMB di MAN 1 Kota Malang dilakukan melalui berbagai kegiatan inovatif seperti pelatihan duta moderasi beragama, pembentukan tim moderasi beragama, kegiatan sosial lintas agama, dan pemanfaatan media sosial. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu membentuk sikap toleran, dan mewujudkan tradisi bersikap moderat di kalangan generasi muda.Kata Kunci: Projek Profil Pelajar Pancasila dan Rahmatan Lil Alamin; Sikap Toleransi; Sikap ModeratAbstract. The Pancasila and Rahmatan lil Alamin (P5RA) Student Profile Strengthening Project is a character strengthening program in the independent curriculum. The program can be realized through the Religious Moderation Program (PMB) in religious secondary schools. Both programs are government policies that need to be initiated in the field. This research is based on the desire to increase tolerance and avoid the threat of intolerance and radicalism among secondary students. This research aims to find out what is the background of the PMB activities through P5RA and how the implementation of the synergy of the two activities at the state madrasa Aliyah (MAN 1 Malang City). This research uses a qualitative approach supported by observation and in-depth interviews with selected informants. The results showed that the integration of religious moderation values with the P5RA curriculum was able to form moderate, tolerant, and inclusive student characters. PMB at MAN 1 Malang City is carried out through various innovative activities such as religious moderation ambassador training, the formation of a religious moderation team, interfaith social activities, and the utilization of social media. The results of this study are expected to be able to form a tolerant attitude, and realize the tradition of being moderate among the younger generation.Keywords: Student Profile Project Pancasila and Rahmatan Lil Alamin; Tolerance Attitude; Moderate Attitude
