Abstract

Since the pandemic started, online learning has been applied to replace the conventional one. Gadgets then become essential tools and the main information source for learning during this time.This study aims to find out the relationship between gadgets and the effectiveness of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. It focused onthe readiness of digital infrastructure institutions and the readiness of students in online learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to describe the roles of gadgets as a learning resource to support effective learning and improve learning outcomes, withliterature review related to the topic. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Zoologi Invertebrata dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Serambi Mekkah (USM). Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi semester III tahun akademik 2018/2019. Analisis data keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Zoologi Invertebrata.  Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, Berpikir Kritis, dan Zoologi Invertebrata

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Zoologi Invertebrata dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Serambi Mekkah (USM). Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi semester III tahun akademik 2018/2019. Analisis data keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Abstract

A pocket and is practical to carry and read anytime and anywhere. Pocket books are printed media that are used in the learning process. Beginning reading learning for students is needed in preparing for the advanced reading stage. Beginning reading can be interpreted as students starting to recognize letters. The purpose of education is to make a person or student who has broad knowledge and good ethics and can be useful for the students themselves and can apply their knowledge in the community. This study aims to determine the feasibility of books as teaching materials and their effectiveness in improving the ability to read the beginning of the environmental material around the first graders of SD Negeri Lamreh. This research is a type of research and development research. The subjects of this study were the first-grade students of SD Negeri Lamreh. The techniques used to collect data are questionnaires, observations and learning outcomes tests. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The results of the study showed that the feasibility was at 96% validation results with 96% design details, 95% material, 100% language and 93% feasibility and practicality. The students' completeness in using pocket books for reading the beginning is 87%. Thus, it can be concluded that pocket books are suitable to be used as learning resources and the results of pocket books are effective for improving student learning outcomes in early reading. Abstrak Buku Ajar berbasis saku dan praktis dibawa serta dibaca kapan dan dimana saja. Pembelajaran membaca permulaan untuk siswa sangatlah dibutuhkan dalam mempersiapkan tahap membaca lanjutan. Membaca permulaan dapat diartikan dengan siswa yang berawal mula mengenal huruf. Tujuan pendidikan adalah menjadikan seseorang atau siswa yang mempunyai pengetahuan luas dan etika yang baik serta dapat berguna bagi siswa itu sendiri dan dapat menerapkan pengetahuannya dilingkungan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan buku sebagai bahan ajar dan efektifitasnya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan pada materi lingkungan sekitar siswa kelas I SD Negeri Lamreh. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I SD Negeri Lamreh. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah angket, observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistic deskriptif berupa presentase. Hasil penelitian bahwa kelayakan berada pada hasil validasi 96% dengan rincian desain 96%, materi 95%, bahasa 100% serta kelayakan dan kepraktisan 93%. Ketuntasan siswa menggunakan buku saku membaca permulaan bernilai 87%. Disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar berbasis saku layak digunakan dengan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam membaca permulaan.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes cannot be said to be optimally successful for slow learning children. Online learning is not a good solution. This is supported by not all parents and teachers play an optimal role. This problem is one of the reasons for conducting research which aims to examine the role of teachers and parents in overcoming learning difficulties for slow learners during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative, with a descriptive research design. There were 3 subjects used by the researcher, namely one subject teacher. Mathematics, one parent of a student with special needs, and one school principal. Use online interviews and observation methods to collect data. The data analysis technique used is data simplification, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's role is the existence of special treatment in the classroom. The teacher monitors the assignments of slow learners and the existence of mathematics learning videos sent by the teacher via WhatsApp. The role of parents is to be educators for students, parents are protectors of children, parents are priority students, and parents know the condition of students at home. The principal's role is to guide the teacher in the learning process, and there is an evaluation for the teacher. This study concluded that teachers, parents, and principals are very influential in overcoming the learning difficulties of slow learners.

Abstract

Abstract: Benefits of Gadgets as An Online Learning Resource for Elementary Students In The Covid-19 Pandemic. Gadgets as online learning resources are used effectively, efficiently and beneficially for elementary school students. Excessive use of gadgets has a negative impact on the development of elementary school students. This study aims to describe how the use of gadgets as an online learning resource for elementary school students. Currently one of the learning tools for elementary school students is a gadget because learning is used online, this is done to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19. This research method uses literature study or literature review. The steps in the literature review are finding the topic, determining the title, and making conclusions. From the results of the journal literature, it shows that elementary school students can use gadgets as online learning resources through the supervision of parents and teachers. Because of the impact of using everyday gadgets in the online learning process, elementary school students usually only play games, watch animated films, and so on. This literature study describes the need for parental supervision for elementary school students' learning activities in using gadgets during online learning. Keywords: Gadgets, Learning Resources, Online Abstrak: Manfaat Gadget Sebagai Sumber Belajar Online Siswa Sd Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pemanfaatan gadget sebagai sumber belajar online bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Saat ini salah satu alat belajar siswa sekolah dasar adalah gadget karena pembelajaran digunakan secara online, hal ini dilakukan guna memutus rantai penyebaran covid-19. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur atau literatur review. Langkah dalam kajian literatur adalah pencarian topik, menentukan judul, dan penyimpulan. Dari hasil literatur jurnal, menunjukkan siswa sekolah dasar dapat memanfaatkan gadget sebagai sumber belajar online melalui pengawasan orang tua dan guru. Karena dampak pemanfaatkan gadget sehari-hari dalam proses pembelajaran online siswa sekolah dasar biasanya hanya untuk bermain game, menonton film animasi, dan lain-lain. Studi literatur ini mendeskripsikan perlunya pengawasan dari orang tua untuk kegiatan belajar siswa SD dalam memanfaatkan gadget selama pembelajaran online. Kata Kunci : Gadget, Sumber Belajar, Online

Abstract

The Role of the Movement Teacher In Realizing Profile Of Pancasila In School. In the current era, there are four major challenges in the world of education, including problems related to the noble values and morals of the nation; the need for maturity to become a citizen; support the realization of social justice and the creation of 21st century competence. To face these challenges, the government established a Teacher Motivator program to launch the Pancasila Student Profile. The goal of this research was to uncovered the role of the teacher in the development of students’ profiles at Pancasila in order to realized resilience in character education in the twenty-first century so that Indonesians could compete globally. What were the rights and responsibilities of a teacher-mover in carrying out the process of education to strengthened the profile of students in Pancasila. What importance should the master drive had in realizing the resilience of character education in the twenty-first century. This was a normative study; the research phase of the study of literature and the deductive analysis. The conceptual approach and the legislative approach were two types of research approaches used by researchers. Researchers conducted research on what the role of the teacher was in the effort to strengthened the profile of Pancasila students on the students as an effort to resilience character education in the twenty-first century. Researchers were also employing the literature method and interview with teacher. . The results of this study were the Master Drive had an important role in shaping the resilience of the character of their students. Such a role, which was to became the leader of learning that encourages the well- being ecosystem education in schools, moving the learning community (to the practitioner community) for co-teachers in the school and in its territory, becoming a teacher practice (coach) for his other teacher related to the development of learning in schools, Open space discussions and positive space of collaboration between teachers and stakeholders in and outside of school to improved the quality of learning, and encourage the improvement of students ‘ leadership in school.

Abstract

Peran guru dalam proses pembelajaran bertugas mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, menilai, dan diakhiri dengan mengevaluasi pada peserta didiknya. proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan dengan baik dengan memperhatikan dua hal yaitu metode pembelajaran dan media pembelajaran. Penggunaan media pembelajaran diharapkan dapat membawa peran seorang guru untuk bisa lebih inovatif dan produktif dalam menyajikan materi yang disampaikan kepada siswa di kelas. Pemanfaatan TIK dalam media pembelajaran diharapkan memiliki kontribusi dan inovasi yang besar pada dunia pendidikan. Adanya TIK diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan bagi siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pengetahuan didalam kelas. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur atau literatur review. Langkah dalam kajian literatur adalah pencarian topik, menentukan judul, dan penyimpulan. Dari hasil literatur jurnal, siswa sudah mulai dapat melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Guru berperan sangat besar dalam kelangsungan pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Studi literatur ini mendeskripsikan perlunya pengawasan dari orang tua dalam pembelajaran menggunakan TIK.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has made significant efforts to enhance literacy at the elementary school level as a foundational aspect of students' educational development and to foster a culture of reading and writing from an early age. This research aims to understand literacy activities in elementary schools to impact students' interest and instill character by studying reading, writing, and cultural literacy. Specifically, the research seeks to determine the impact of principals' leadership on teachers' roles in implementing school literacy activities. Using a qualitative approach, the study's results demonstrate that the leadership of school principals in Cluster VI, Kota Bahagia District, South Aceh, significantly influences the implementation of school literacy programs. Principals with positive personalities, adequate knowledge, a strong understanding of the vision and mission, good decision-making abilities, and effective communication skills are able to support and facilitate teachers in literacy implementation. Literacy is crucial for elementary school students as it enables them to read well, write, listen, and understand the diverse cultures of Indonesia, instilling cultural character from an early age.

Abstract

This research reflects the government's initiative to improve access and quality of education in Indonesia, while catching up with more developed countries, and outlines the advantages and disadvantages of education in Indonesia compared to education abroad. The author adopts a research method using the literature study method as a form of preparation using references from various sources, including archives, the internet (both in digital and physical form), and books. The results of the research analysis show that support from all parties is needed to support the ongoing improvement process. Education in Indonesia has a unique identity and local policies that other countries do not have. Even though PISA data shows that the quality of education in Indonesia is still far behind, this does not reduce the enthusiasm of all parties to continue to improve quality. Each system has advantages and disadvantages, and the system implemented should be adapted to the conditions in each region, while maintaining local policies that need to be preserved.
