Abstract

This article is entitled “The application of Go To Your Post Learning Strategies to Improve Students Critical Thinking Ability in Learning History” (Classroom Action Research of grade XII IPS 1 in 15 Senior High School in Bandung)”. The main problem in this research is how to improve the critical thinking skills of grade XII IPS 1 Senior High School 15 Bandung student, by using the Go To Your Post strategy in history learning. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. The procedure carried out in this class action research refers to the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart starts with planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject in this study is students from grade XII IPS 1 in 15 Senior High School in Bandung, while the instruments used in data collection techniques were observation, interviews, field notes and documentation studies. The results showed that learning history by applying the Go To Your Post strategy can elevate students’ critical thinking skills because students are faced with situations that encourage them toward problem-solving, through group discussions and class discussions. The implementation of this learning strategy can conditioning an active and critical learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh temuan peneliti di kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Cimahi yaitu rendahnya keterampilan literasi membaca siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus yang pada masing-masing siklusnya dilakukan dua tindakan dengan menggunakan model John Elliot yang prosesnya terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukan adanya peningkatan keterampilan literasi informasi di setiap siklusnya setelah diterapkanya metode brainwriting dalam pembelajaran sejarah, hal ini dapat terlihat dari perolehan skor masing-masing indikator pada setiap siklusnya yang mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I tidak ada kelompok yang mendapatkan skor maksimal pada setiap indikator. Pada siklus II terdapat kelompok yang mendapatkan skor maksimal pada beberapa indikator. Pada siklus III semua kelompok mendapatkan skor maksimal di sebagian besar indikator yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode brainwriting dapat menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi membaca siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah di kelas XI IPA 3 SMAN 3 Cimahi.

Abstract

This research emerged from the author’s interest in cultural magazines’ involvement regarding a political situation in Indonesia. The main problem discussed “how was the Sastra magazine’s resistance against cultural politics of the Leaded Democracy periodin 1961-1964?” The main problem elaborated into four research questions, namely: (1) how was the background of Sastra magazine’s publication?; (2) how was the culture concept from Sastra magazine’s perspective?; (3) how was the Sastra magazine’s efforts to defended its perspective in addressing anti-mainstream cultural concepts?;and (4) how was the impact received by the Sastra magazine due to maintaining the anti-mainstream cultural concept?. The method used in this study is the historical method which is divided into four stages, such as heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Based on the study, it can be explained that Sastra published in 1961 was a continuation of Kisah, the publication of this magazine has acted as aneffort to provide good reading for the community. In its development, Sastra has its own view of the cultural concept of the Leaded Democracy era, that Indonesian culture is an honest culture that was born from the conscience of the people based on humanity, not based on the slogans of party interests. That was considered not following the spirit of revolution that had not been completed at the time, which led to attacks from various parties, especially from the Lekra. Sastra maintained its stance, one of which was through its involvement in the Manifes Kebudayaan, which was a statement of a group of artists regarding Indonesia’s national culture. But not even a year, theManifes Kebudayaan declared forbidden by President Sukarno because he considered competing with the Indonesian Political Manifesto. The prohibition statement became a trigger for Sastra to disappear from circulation because it was labelled as a tool for the reactionaries.

Abstract

This research is motivated by Kurikulum Merdeka in History lessons which contains achievements to be able to contextualize events that occurred in the past. The ability of teachers who have now developed by having the ability to create and use electronic-based teaching materials can develop electronic-based teaching materials containing historical material that is linked to contextual issues. Seeing this, the researcher conducted a quasi-experimental study aimed at analyzing the influence of e-modules based on a contextual approach to historical thinking skills. The researcher saw this influence by using a quasi-experiment with a time series design conducted at SMA Negeri 26 Bandung. The results of the study showed that e-modules based on a contextual approach can show an influence on historical thinking skills with a moderate increase in the category.

Abstract

Understanding history is more complex than just understanding past events. One way that can be done to foster an understanding of history is by developing historical literacy skills. Students' historical literacy skills can be strengthened by utilizing applications in the history learning process integrated with digital technology. This study aims to explain the utilization or potential of electronic modules based on the heyzine flipbook application in developing students' historical literacy skills in history learning. By using the integrative review type literature review method, researchers describe the use of electronic modules based on the heyzine flipbook application through a number of features contained in the application, which consist of link features, videos, images, audio, and so on. In the heyzine flipbook application, there are various features that make it easy for users to develop interactive teaching materials. These features are in the interactions column which focuses on editing the module to be created. The features are link, image, video, audio and web features. Through this article, the researcher aims to provide a solution for utilizing electronic modules based on the heyzine flipbook application as one of the media that can be utilized in the history learning process so that history is not considered a field of study that emphasizes the memorization process alone and is able to develop students' historical literacy skills.

Abstract

Masifnya disinformasi sebagai dampak negatif teknologi dapat dicegah dengan terampil berliterasi digital, khususnya kemampuan content evaluation. Pemikiran kritis terhadap konten-konten pembelajaran digital sebagai bentuk manifestasi content evaluation dapat diperkuat dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran sejarah terintegrasi literasi digital. Melalui metode literature review tipe integrative review, penelitian ini bermaksud mendeskripsikan pelbagai potensi aplikasi Pahamify sebagai contoh aplikasi penguat kemampuan content evaluation dalam pembelajaran sejarah terintegrasi literasi digital. Potensi tersebut diperlihatkan melalui penjelasan bagaimana fitur-fitur aplikasi Pahamify dimanfaatkan dalam indikator kemampuan content evaluation berikut: (1) memisahkan tampilan dengan isi konten digital, (b) mengecek kredibilitas konten digital, (c) memverifikasi latar belakang kredibilitas konten digital, (d) mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis laman situs web konten digital, (e) mengidentifikasi dan berkomunikasi di grup terkait konten digital, dan (f) menganalisis format multimedia pada konten digital. Meskipun tidak semua indikator dapat dilakukan dengan hanya mengandalkan aplikasi Pahamify, keseluruhan fitur yang ada dapat menguatkan kemampuan content evaluation siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah terintegrasi literasi digital.
