Abstract

his study aimed to improve rough motoric skills through cheerful gymnastics in group B2 at Lestari Kindergarten, Palopo City. The problem at Lestari Kindergarten in Palopo City was that children's rough motoric skills have not developed well. The method used in this research was classroom action research (CAR) with 14 children. Data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study were quantitative analysis techniques and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study on increasing rough motoric skills through cheerful gymnastics in group B2 at Lestari Kindergarten show that the pre-cycle was 52%, the first cycle was 55.7, and at the second cycle developed very well 79.7%.

Abstract

Higher Education is one government institution that implements the bureaucratic reform program through the Zone of Integrity (ZI) development program. ZI planning towards a Corruption Free Area (known as WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Region (known as WBBM) was conducted at the Faculty of Education (FIP) of the Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG), which is committed to implementing WBK/WBBM. In implementing ZI, synergy, and commitment are needed between the leadership and the entire academic community. One of the components in realizing ZI is the optimal quality of public services for both internal and external parties. The research used survey that sent to 200 participants. Then, 15 questionnaires were constructed and the results were analyzed. The survey results related to internal public services in supporting the implementation of the integrity zone of the Faculty of Education, State University of Gorontalo, are in the satisfactory category as seen from 15 indicators of public services, nine items in the satisfactory category, followed by five very satisfactory categories. This shows that the public services provided are in the good category, but improvements in several aspects must still be carried out.

Abstract

Fenomena pendidikan bagi anak usia dini sekarang ini lebih menitik beratkan pada pembinaan perilaku moral anak. Berdasarkan hal tersebut banyak pendekatan model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan di Taman Kanak-kanak atau Lembaga PAUD dalam mengembangkan perilaku moral anak. Salah satu yang pada umumnya sudah diterapkan  pada semua lembaga yaitu metode bercerita dan ada pula yang masih jarang digunakan yaitu metode pembelajaran scaffolding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan perilaku  moral anak dalam metode bercerita menggunakan alat dan metode bercerita tanpa alat, (2) Mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan perilaku moral anak dalam metode pembelajaran scaffolding tinggi dan metode metode pembelajaran scaffolding rendah, (3) Mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh metode bercerita dan metode pembelajaran scaffolding. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa dari 40 responden dari hasil perhitungan diketahui nilai  = 6,97. Dari tabel F pada db (A)/db (D) = 1/36 dab α = 0,05 diketahui nilai  = 4,11. Karena  >  atau Hₒ ditolak, jadi rata-rata perilaku moral anak yang diberi metode bercerita menggunakan alat lebih berpengaruh dari pada metode bercerita tanpa alat. Dengan hasil uji tersebut, berarti hipotesisi pertama yang menyatakan “metode pembelajaran scaffolding tinggi lebih berpengaruh daripada metode pembelajaran scaffolding rendah terhadap perilaku moral anak” teruji dengan signifikan.

Abstract

Steam learning training through the Loose Part Media is a community service program that aims to provide education to institutions, educators and parents of students in an effort to improve the quality of education, especially early childhood education. STEAM learning for early childhood or pre-school children emphasizes more on active learning, stimulating children, solving problems, focusing on solutions, building logical and systematic ways of thinking and sharpening critical thinking skills. In optimizingtheapplication of STEAM learning, it is necessary to support adequate teaching resources, especially in the procurement of teaching media and play tools. Reviewing from the strategic location of the service located in Bone Bolango Gorontalo province which is a coastal area far from the city so that it is difficult to procure teaching media and play tools. Therefore, one of the right solutions that can support the optimization of the application of STEAM learning is the use of Loose Part media. Throughthe use of Loose Part media, institutions, educators and parents can use objects in the environment around children as teaching media and play tools.

Abstract

Minat belajar pada anak usia dini merupakan pondasi awal dalam melakukan perbaikan generasi di dunia pendidikan. Minat belajar sangat besar pengaruhnya terhadap anak usia dini, dengan minat belajar yang tinggi anak akan tertarik mencari tahu, sebaliknya rendahnya minat belajar anak tidak akan malas mencari tahu. Minat belajar anak usia dini akan timbul apabila terdapat rangsangan dari luar, salah satunya dengan menggunakan Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) yang menarik. Mengacu pada kurikulum PAUD yang berbasis tematik dan kontekstual, pengadaan APE yang efektif dan efisian harus disesuaikan dengan karakterik lingkungan belajar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimen desain dengan model Nonequivalent Control Grup Design. Adapun sampel yang digunakan mencakup Lembaga PAUD yang ada di kota Gorotalo. Dari perhitungan uji analisis dengan memilih uji independent sampel test diperoleh nilai Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,003 lebih kecil dari pada ???? (0,05), sedangkan dari hasil thitung diperoleh nilai sebesar (3.197) > dari ttabel (1,771). Karena nilai Sig (2-tailed) < α atau thitung > ttabel maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Alat Permainan Edukatif (APE) Berbasis Bahan Lingkungan Sesuai Karakteristik Daerah Terhadap Minat Belajar Anak Usia Dini Terhadap Minat Belajar Anak Usia Dini di Daerah Teluk Tomini Gorontalo.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find the impact of Project Based Learning on the Critical Thinking Skills of 5-6 Years Old Children. This is a quatitative experimental research (One Group Pretest-post-test). The Population of this research consists of 12 children, and the sample is 12 group B children aged 5-6 years at Tk Pertiwi, Bone Subdistrict, Bone Bolango Regency. The Data analysis technique uses stastistics data processing. The results showed an increase in the average pre-test, obtaining a score of 59.84, and the resuld of the average value of the negative difference is (-21.28091). Meanwhile, the average post-test is 81.62. Therefore, it shows a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores with a p-value of 0.000, so the hypothesis results are” confirmed,” where the significant value of 0.000, <alpha value of 0.05. In other words, H0 is rejected and H1 is confirmed. It can be conluded that projct-based learning impacts the criticalthinking ability of 5-6 year old children at Pertiwi Kindergarten, Bone District, Bone Bolango Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between the teacher's role and children's social behavior at TK Dewi Sartika Kindergarten, Sipatana District, Gorontalo City. The researcher employed a qualitative research method to explore this relationship. The subjects consisted of one teacher and 13 students from the same class. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results describe that the correlation between the teacher's role and the social behavior of young children encompasses six aspects: 1) The teacher as an educator, for example, teaches children how to make friends, share, and collaborate through group games or class activities. 2) The teacher as a manager, for example, establishing clear classroom rules, such as taking turns speaking during discussions or respecting others' feelings. 3) The teacher, as a supervisor, guides children to resolve conflicts peacefully and teaches them how to negotiate or empathize with their peers' emotions. 4) The teacher is an innovator, for example, introducing role-play activities where children pretend to be in different professions or social situations, allowing them to practice social interactions fun and innovatively. 5) The teacher is a communicator, for example, helping children express their emotions healthily when they feel angry or sad and teaching them how to communicate with their peers. 6) The teacher is a motivator, for example, by praising and rewarding children who display positive social behavior, such as collaborating in teams, helping friends in need, or constructively resolving conflicts. This helps children feel more motivated to continue improving their social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of assistant teachers in the teaching and learning process at TK Negeri Pembina, Kota Tengah, Gorontalo City. The research focuses include: (1) identifying the challenges faced by assistant teachers in the learning process, (2) understanding how the learning process is conducted by assistant teachers, and (3) evaluating the outcomes achieved in the implementation of the learning process by assistant teachers.The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that assistant teachers play an active role in supporting classroom teachers, assisting and guiding children who require special attention. The tasks performed by assistant teachers reveal certain inconsistencies, such as assistant teachers taking on the role of classroom teachers. Despite challenges in managing students, asssistant teachers are able to contribute significantly to achieving learning objectives.

Abstract

Anak prasekolah mencoba untuk memahami dan mengelola emosi mereka dan belajar bentuk-bentuk dari kesadaran diri dan pemahaman sosial sehingga kesiapan bersekolah menjadi baik. Kematangan masuk sekolah mengacu pada pertumbuhan biologis yang dicapai sebelum masuk sekolah, yaitu kematangan otak untuk memahami konsep calistung, kematangan fisik, maupun emosional. Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas TK B, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 63 responden dengan tehnik random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 61,9 % tingkat perkembangan emosi anak dalam kategori cukup dan sebanyak 68,3% tingkat kesiapan anak bersekolah dalam kategori cukup. Analisa statistik product moment bahwa nilai r hitung > r tabel (0,273 > 0,2480) artinya ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara perkembangan emosi anak dengan kesiapan bersekolah pada anak TK Aba Krapyak Wetan Yogyakarta. Jadi Kompetensi sosial-emosional sangat penting untuk penyesuaian jangka panjang, hubungan sosial dan keberhasilan akademik sehingga hal ini dapat meminimalisir permasalahan yang terjadi pada anak seperti penolakan rekan maupun kegagalan sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan media loose parts terhadap kemampuan kreativitas anak kelompok B di TK Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Lemito Kabupaten Pohuwato. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan kepala sekolah dan guru, serta dokumentasi terkait kreativitas anak. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini terlihat bahwa kreativitas anak-anak kelompok B mulai meningkat setelah menggunakan media loose parts pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Dan pembelajaran pada anak terlihat semakin menarik dan anak-anak menjadi lebih semangat dan antusias saat belajar menggunakan media loose parts. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian penggunaan media loose parts pada anak dapat mengembangkan kreativitas anak. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai penggunaan media loose parts terhadap kemampuan kreativitas anak usai dini dan membuka mata guru untuk bisa berkreasi skreatif mungkin memberikan pembelajaran pada anak-anak.
