Abstract

Abstract

The spatial pattern of Semarang illustrate how the pattern that separates the production zone  with consumption zone. Consumption zone is where we live, while the production zone is where we work, shop, school prayer, and recreation. The condition causes the townspeople have to commute (nglajo) every day from the residence to the production zone. Patterns of community life of the city brought in a mechanical rhythm of having to use a motor vehicle. Be they as a community-based automobile (Hadi, 2001: 100-101). The existence of these problems lead to the birth of the Self-reliant  New Town BSB Semarang. Bukit Semarang Baru (BSB) as an Self-reliant  New Town is an integrated spatial planning, where the provision of shelter is equipped with facilities meeting the needs which are within the scope of one area or also called mixed use zoning. To examine changes in activity and mobility of people in urban space integrated pattern which in this case is the Self-reliant New Town BSB then used a socio-ecological systems approach. Socio-ecological systems see the extent of the interaction between different systems. The link between humans and the environment is realized through a variety of physiological processes, psychological and cultural (Lawrence, 2003). The method used in this study is a mix methods with quantitative and qualitative approaches. A quantitative approach is used to analyze the activity and mobility patterns, and a qualitative approach to explain the socio-ecological system of the community. Results from this study that of the five regular activity performed, shopping activities and religious activities have high interaction, because most people have been doing the activity in the region, while for other activities such as the activity of work, school and activity in leisure time is still done in BSB outside the region. The use of public transport modes BSB still choose a long private vehicle.

Abstract

Urban planning is needed to manage changes within a spatial approach. It helps in planning activities where the economic, environmental, and social goals are holistically managed. The planning process involves studying past trends, learning from past and present, and preparing for the future. The fast development and adoption of new cultures lead to significant changes in socio-cultural and economic growth. Some Industry activities, especially religious ones in this decade, brought many changes in Kudus, Central Java, and Indonesia. It diversifies the city's social and cultural identity and generates tremendous economic development opportunities. Therefore, the town has several potentials facing urban planning problems. Exploring these issues and the reasons behind them will help minimize their impact. Kudus has tremendous potential for research in this direction. The need of the decade for urban planners and designers is to be prepared for the changes in a Kudus city. This study identifies the growth of Kudus as a religious city along with changes in regional spatial plans using descriptive qualitative analysis from secondary data such as planning documents and primary data from in-depth interviews with relevant stakeholders. This study shows Kudus as a religious city having challenges of spatial changes and growth patterns of religious tourism growth in the Kudus area.

Abstract

The mobility of urban populations towards potential sectors is one form of economic activity turnover. However, this condition is currently disrupted due to Covid-19. This condition occurs almost all over the world, not least Indonesia. To suppress the rapid spread of the outbreak, several policies were issued in order to reduce the mobility of the high population. This article aims to find out the influence of the implementation of PPKM Phase II policy on Population Mobility in the retail and leisure sectors. This article uses a library study approach by processing google mobility report data, so that the correlation to variables tested is known. PPKM Central Java Phase II policy can affect the mobility of the population towards the retail and leisure sectors. The existence of this policy, indirectly limits the space of community activities in making movements.

Abstract

The distribution of commodity transportation is a crucial factor for the sustainability and continuity of economic activities in specific regions. Shipments occur daily, especially on main roads, with the majority of goods transported exceeding tonnage limits when passing through roads. If this continues without control and security measures, it will lead to a deterioration of the physical quality of the road, disrupting the distribution of goods transportation. The Vehicle Weighing Station (UPPKB) is a form of control and security implemented by the government to regulate the transportation of goods distribution above tonnage limits. Every day, the transportation of goods distribution in South Sumatera Province is significant due to its numerous power plants and tourist destinations. This research aimed to identify the location for the development of UPPKB using a quantitative method to obtain indicators for multi-criteria analysis. The conclusion drawn from the identified potential points indicates positive results, making it feasible to construct a new UPPKB at those locations. The potential locations for the development of a new UPPKB in South Sumatera are Betung 1 Street and Yusuf Singadekane 1 Street

Abstract

Covid-19 for three years has become an inseparable part of the lives of urban and rural communities. The impact occurs, such as the impact of Covid-19 on children. Children are a vulnerable part of society during a pandemic, about the conditions for their health, education, and protection. The role of the city in carrying out its duties as a public servant is important, where all stakeholders have an important role. Central Java, one of the provinces affected by Covid-19 has responded well with its adaptive programs. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach with a quantitative descriptive method, starting with an analysis of the role of stakeholders and programs related to Covid-19 prevention for children. The results of the analysis are continued by looking at the spatial pattern between cities and districts. Research data is taken from primary surveys through FGD and document review. The results of the study identify that not all city/district areas have a response to child protection during the Covid-19 pandemic, urban areas are more responsive to this condition. Increasing the role of protection for children during a pandemic is an important part of the process of returning to the new normal.

Abstract

Pekalongan Regency is an area with flat to steep topographic characteristics which makes this area prone to disasters ranging from floods, landslides, droughts, and tornadoes. This disaster vulnerability has an impact on the use of existing space, one of which is tourist areas. However, spatial planning for tourist areas in Pekalongan Regency does not appear to be fully regulated in the Regional Spatial Plan, even though most of the existing tourist areas are located in landslide-prone areas. This study will evaluate the role of RTRW in creating a landslide resilient tourist area in Petungkriyono District using the process of public policy implementation analysis method. The first stage is to analyze the level of landslide vulnerability using scoring and weighting techniques and then carry out an overlay analysis of the variables. used. The second stage is an evaluation analysis of the role of the RTRW carried out by looking at 3 (three) aspects including evaluation of the synchronization of Disaster Management (Landslide) Policies, evaluation of the Implementation of Zoning Arrangements and evaluation of Program Implementation in the Pekalongan Regency RTRW. Results The level of landslide vulnerability in tourist areas in Petungkriyono District ranges from high to very high. The Pekalongan Regency RTRW itself is a policy that focuses on spatial planning, so the evaluation in this case is the disaster management policy in the spatial RTRW. The results of the study state that the role of RTRW reached 86% (eighty six percent), which means that RTRW has played a very important role in creating a disaster-resilient tourist area in Petungkriyono District.
