Abstract: This study aims 1) To determine the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in Paud Afifah Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru before the application of finger painting activities. 2) To know the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in Paud Afifah Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru after the application of finger painting activities. 3) To determine how much influence the application of finger painting activities against the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in Paud Afifah Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru. This type of research used in this research is the experimental approach of a study that sought influence of certain variables on other variables in strictly controlled conditions. The study sample that Paud Afifah Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru 20 children, 10 boys and 10 girls. Collecting data using observation and documentation. Based on the survey results revealed that 1) the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in Paud Afifah Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru before treatment is given in the form of finger painting activity is low. 2) fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in Paud Afifah Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru after treatment is given in the form of finger painting activity has increased and is high. 3) The finger painting have a significant impact on fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in Paud Afifah Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru. It can be seen that there are differences in the form of increased fine motor skills children before and after treatment. Finger painting activities have the effect of 41.33% of the fine motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in Paud Afifah Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru.Keywords: Finger Painting, Fine Motor

Abstract : The purpose of this study are as follows: 1) To determine the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years prior to the application of the traditional game activities in early childhood Boi-Boian Hand Partners Pekanbaru. 2) To determine the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years after the implementation of the activities of traditional games in early childhood Boi-Boian Hand Partners Pekanbaru. 3) To find out how high the level of influence the application of the traditional game activities Boi-Boian on gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Mitra Hand Pekanbaru. The research sample is the child class A consisting of 15 children, consisted of 7 men and 8 women. Collecting data using observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is t test analysis techniques. From the results obtained with t = 11 767 means greater than ttable the significant level of 5% and at significant level of 1% (2.160 <11 767> 2.98). Thus, it means Ho is rejected. This means that there is significant influence between boi-Boian tradisioanl game against the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Mitra Hand Pekanbaru. From this study it can be concluded that the application of the boi-Boian tradisioanl game against the gross motor skills of children aged 4-5 years in early childhood Mitra Hand Pekanbaru. It can be seen that there is a difference in the form of an increase in gross motor skills children before treatment and after treatment and have the effect of 28.15%Keywords: application of the traditional game boi-Boian, gross motor skills children

Abstract: This study aims 1) To determine the emotional intelligence before the method of playing a role in children aged 4-5 years in RA Bunda Suwarni District of Marpoyan Peace Pekanbaru. 2) To know the emotional intelligence as a method of playing a role in children aged 4-5 years in RA Bunda Suwarni District of Marpoyan Peace Pekanbaru. 3) To determine the effect of the method of playing the role of emotional intelligence in children aged 4-5 years RA Bunda Suwarni Marpoyan Peace District of the city of Pekanbaru. Based on the survey results revealed that 1) the ability of emotional intelligence of children aged 4-5 years in RA Bunda Suwarni District of Marpoyan Peace Pekanbaru before treatment is given in the form of role-playing method is low. 2) The ability of emotional intelligence of children aged 4-5 years in RA Bunda Suwarni District of Marpoyan Peace Pekanbaru City after being given treatment in the form of a method of playing a role has increased and is high. 3) Method of playing a role has a significant impact on the ability of emotional intelligence of children aged 4-5 years in RA Bunda Suwarni District of Marpoyan Peace Pekanbaru. It can be seen that there are differences related to increase the child's emotional intelligence before and after treatment. Method of playing a role has the effect of 33.48% of the emotional intelligence abilities of children aged 4-5 years in RA Bunda Suwarni District of Marpoyan Peace Pekanbaru.Keywords: Role Playing, Emotional Intelligence

This study is originated from observations that showed reading readinesses of children are low in Siak Sri Inderapura. This condition must be solved to improve their reading readiness. Related to this, the researcher is interested in solving the problem by using pictures of Malayâ folklores. This is experimental research that uses quantitative methods with two-group: pre test and post-test. Based on the results of the t-test, it is obtained that t-score of -17,175 with a significance of 0,000. It can be concluded that there is a difference in reading readiness between experimental group and control group.

This research is supported by the problem of art skills of PG PAUD studentsin drawing with pencil are still low. To improve this, an experimental research is carried out by giving treatments in fading techniques: shading techniques, drawing shapes, perspectives, and landscapes. In this research, it can be concluded the findings are: 1) before the provision of fading techniques, basic art skills of PG Riau PAUD students in the category of less than 55.72%; 2) after giving fading technique treatments, art skills of students of the Riau PA PAUD PG are in the good category of 73.57%; 3) after treatment, there is an influence (effectiveness) of fading techniques on art skills (drawing with pencil) forPG PAUD Students at the Riau University which is 40.30%.

Abstract: Based on observations that have been done by researchers on children aged 5-6 years in TK Miftahul Ilmi Pekanbaru City still found some problems writing. Such us, there are still children who are difficult to write their own names, there are still children who are difficult to imitate the letters written by teachers, there are still children who are difficult to write a few words written by teachers, there are still children who are difficult to make lines or curves as letters. This research is purposed for to know the influence using crossword media to ability of writing children aged 5-6 years in TK Miftahul Ilmi Pekanbaru City. This research is experiment research using one group design with pretest and posttest. The sample that used is 15 people in this research. File accumulation’s technique that used is observation. Technique of data analysis using t-test test by using program of SPSS 16.0. The research hypothesis is that there is a significant influence on children's writing ability after applying media crossword. To find the hypothesis accepted or rejected based on data SPSS 16.0 can be seen tcount ꞊27,191 is bigger than ttable ꞊ 2,131 (27,191> 2,131). Thus Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means there is a significant difference between before and after doing experimentation by applying crossword media. The results of this study also see the effect of crossword media use on writing ability of children aged 5-6 years. This can be known from the influence of the use of media crossword based on calculation using Gain formula that is equal to 43.33% is in the medium category and 56.67% influenced by other factors.Key words: Writing abilty, crossword media

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of playing black green on children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted at the Pmbina 3 Pekanbaru State Kindergarten in March 2018. This is pretest and posttest group design an experimental research with 30 children as samples. Type of instrument used in this study is the observation using a sheet to record about activities that occurred during a given treatment. Based on the hypothesis test results obtained are the shaping technique is influence on Emotional intelligence children ages 5-6 years in TK Negeri Pembina 3 pekanbaru. Retrieved t count at 8,613 with sig 0000, because sig <0.05 then we can conclude that there are influence on the Emotional intelligence is significant between class with playing green black and without playing green black. Hypothesis testing can be seen at tcount= 8,613> t table = 2,048 it has been suggested that there is a significant influence in results between the control class and experiment class. The playing green black had a significant effect towards children’s age 5-6 years old Emotional intelligence, at 63,69%. This is known from the different results Emotional intelligence on control class and expriment class with given playing green black treatment.Key Words: Emotional intelligence, playing green black

Abstrack: The aim of this research is to know whether there is any correlation between of father's knowledge about parenting with the role of father in parenting in Aisyiyah Kindergarten, Penyasawan village, District of Kampar. The population in this study are all fathers who have children in Aisyiyah kindergarten, Penyasawan village, District of Kampar that consists of 89 person, the samples of this research are 89 person. Method of this research is quantitative correlation to know the correation between independent variable and dependent variable. The technique of collecting data used tests and quistioner in Likert scale form. The technique of analyzing data used scale test and statistic analitical by using SPSS program for Windows Ver.17. Based on hypothesis test results there is a significant positive correlation between the father's knowledge about parenting with the role of father in parenting in Aisyiyah Kindergarten, Penyasawan village, District of Kampar. It can be known from the value of correlation coefficient of rxy = 0.656 and significant level is 0,000 <0.05. The correlation between father’s knowledge about parenting with the role of father in parenting is in the high level which is the KP = r² x 100% = 43%, it means that father’s knowledge about parenting affect the role of father in parenting as much as 43%.Key Words: Father’s Knowledge About Parenting, The Role Of Father In Parenting

Abstract : The background of this study because of the low discipline in children. Self awareness has an important role in children’s discipline. A good self awareness will have a positive impact on the development of children's discipline. Without being supported by an nature,it will be difficult to reach children who have good dicipline. This study aimed to find out the relationship between self awareness and discipline in children aged 5-6 years old at Raudhatul Athfal Ikhlas Kindergarden School Subdistrict Payung Sekaki Pekanbaru City. This study was quantitative study with correlation study type. Sampling technique used in this study is a sample saturated with a total sample of 40 children. The data collection techniques were used observation sheets. The data analysis techniques were used Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient. Based on the hypothesis test result obtained correlation coefficient value of rxy = 0.553, it is greater than rtable = 0.304 (0,553 > 0,304) with significance level of 0,000 < 0,05. Level relationship resides in the strong category with the resulting determinant coefficient value is of 30,6% it can be seen that the self awareness contribution of 30,6% to discipline.Keyword: Discipline, self awareness

Abstract: This study aimed to find out the effect of the ball obstacle course to gross motor skills of children aged 4 – 5 years old at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru. This study utilizes experimental method by one group pre-test post-test design. The samples taken in this study were 15 children of early age. While data collection techniques used is the observation. The data analysis technique uses t-test by utilizing SPSS 21 software. The analysis results of the data processing before the given treatment through the obstacle ball course, the gross motor skills of the 4 -5 years old children at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru obtained a total value of 172 with an average value is 11.47 and the analysis results of the data processing after the given treatment through the obstacle ball course, the gross motor skills of the children aged 4 -5 years at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru obtained a total value of 299 with an average value is 19.93. Based on data analysis, it can be seen that t-calculate = 17,398> t-table = 2.145 to Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000. Because of Sig <0,05 it can be concluded that there is a difference in gross motor skills before and after the obstacle ball course done. It can be interpreted that there is an effect of giving the obstacle ball course to gross motor skills of 4-5 years old children at Akramunnas the Islamic kindergarten in Pekanbaru signified as much 41,23%.Keyword: Gross motor skills, ball obstacle course
