Abstract

The study was conducted with the aim of wanting to find out the biology laboratory profiles in high schools, especially private. Research was carried out on private high schools in the city of Pekanbaru T.A 2016/2017, as the research sample was carried out in a random way. This research method was using surveys, documentation and observation. The research instrument used in this study was documentation guidelines for knowing the Biology Science lab in high school. The results of the data analyzed descriptively regarding the Profile of the Biological Science Laboratory of SMAS in Pekanbaru showed that the Biology Science laboratory conditions were undergraduate and S4 in 89.4% (Very good), and each indicator observed at the time of observation showed good laboratory conditions.

Abstract

Biologi sebagai salah satu bidang studi yang menantang siswa untuk mengkonstruksi pengetahuan serta membangun pemahaman konsep. Pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada pemahaman konsep merupakan pembelajaran yang bermakna. Ciri pembelajaran bermakna yaitu menekankan pada keterlibatan siswa dalam belajar. Guru dapat merancang pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa belajar lebih aktif, salah satunya dengan penggunaan modul. Pada SMAN 2 Padang Panjang guru belum berupaya mengembangkan modul yang dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep materi secara bermakna khususnya pada materi sistem peredaran darah. Pengembangan modul menggunakan model 4-D yaitu define (pendefenisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan) dan disseminate (penyebaran). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan validasi dan uji coba produk yang dikembangkan. Uji coba secara terbatas dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI I.A 3 SMA Negeri 2 Padang Panjang Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor rata-rata dari validator ahli dan validator praktisi yaitu 3,58 dengan kategori sangat valid. RPP yang dikembangkan mendapat skor rata-rata 3,59 dengan kategori sangat valid, dan soal evaluasi yang dikembangkan mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,5 dengan kategori sangat baik. Praktikalitas modul diketahui dari keterlaksanaan RPP dengan skor rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 3,71 dalam kategori sangat baik, respon guru terhadap praktikalitas modul memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,5 dengan kategori sesuai dan respon siswa terhadap praktikalitas modul memperoleh skor rata-rata 3,38 dengan kategori sesuai. Efektifitas modul diketahui dari aktifitas siswa yang mencapai persentase 68% dengan kategori tinggi dan hasil belajar yang diperoleh mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal 79%Kata Kunci: Modul Pembelajaran Biologi, Meaningful Learning, Peta Konsep, Materi Sistem Peredaran Darah

Abstract

 Orientasi pembelajaran khususnya diperguruan tinggi tentunya lebih mengedepankan aktifitas maupun partisipasi mahasiswa, mengingat mereka pada usia ini telah dapat mengembangkan pemikiran logis, kritis dan kreatif. Namun demikian pembelajaran yang kurang mengoptimalkan kompetensi setiap individu menyebabkan sebagian besar tidak dapat mengkonstruksi pengetahuan dan tidak memperoleh pengalaman belajar. Belajar merupakan hubungan timbal balik dan fungsional antara individu dan individu, antara individu dan kelompok, serta kelompok dan kelompok. Keterlibatan dengan orang lain membuka kesempatan bagi peserta didik untuk mengevaluasi dan memperbaiki pemahaman mereka saat mereka bertemu dengan pemikiran orang lain dan saat mereka berpartisipasi dalam pencarian pemahaman bersama. Hal ini dapat diwujudkan salah satunya dengan implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif (cooperatif learning) yang merupakan strategi belajar dengan membentuk beberapa kelompok kecil dalam keragaman tingkat kemampuan dan bekerja sama serta saling membantu untuk memahami materi pelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbandingan aktifitas pembelajaran pada implementasi berbagai jenis model pembelajaran kooperatif yaitu model Students Team Achievment Division (STAD), Numbered Head Together (NHT) dan Jigsaw. Metode Penelitian berupa squasi-experimental research atau penelitian eksperimen semu yang mengadakan perlakuan terhadap variabel penelitian (variabel bebas) dan kemudian mengamati konsekuensi perlakuan tersebut terhadap objek penelitian (variabel terikat) namun tidak dengan manipulasi yang ketat layaknya eksperimen sungguhan. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode observasi serta angket/kuesioner yang dapat disusun dalam bentuk pernyataan tertutup maupun terbuka. Analisis data secara kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan hasil observasi aktifitas pembelajaran yang telah dikelompokkan dalam ratio perbandingan aktifitas yang tinggi (T), sedang (S) dan rendah (R) serta analisis kualitatif pada kuesioner  skala likert yang dikonversi hingga derajat pencapaian. Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran STAD, NHT, Jigsaw dan Aktifitas Pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to develop a contextual-based learning video media for elementary school. The form of this research is research and development or research and development using the Four-D (4D) model. Given the length of time and cost required, the research on the development of contextual-based learning video media was onlycarried out in three stages, namely define, design, and development. The sampling technique used by researchers was a purposive sampling technique with a total sample taken of 10 students from three schools in the Pelalawan region, Riau Province. The data collection technique used was obtained from validation results by learning mediaexpert validators, material experts, and class science teachers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of this study are in the form of learning video-based desain media on human respiratory system material in the form of video (mp4) which is tested based on the validator's assessment. The results ofvalidation by learning media experts show that the learning media developed is very feasible to use, based on the results of validation from experts, prereview including teachers and limited tests through student responses obtained from biology learning video media products on the subject matter of the human circulatory system are directed to the very category suitable for use as a medium for learning biology.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan kendala peran orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas VSDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang menggunakan metode deskiptif. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa instrumen wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data yang mengacu pada metode Miles and Huberman dengan hasil penelitian berupa pendeskripsian tentang kendala peran orang tua dalam proses pembelajaran siswa kelas V SDIT Al-Hidayah Pekanbaru.Terdapat 3 faktor kendala peran orang tua yaitu latar belakang pendidikan orang tua, ekonomi dan kesibungan yang dimiliki orang tua. Hasil yang ditemukan di lapangan sudah sesuai dengan teori, masih ditemukan orang tua yang terkendala dalam menjalankkan perannya. Sebagai pendidik, masih ada orang tua yang kesulitan dalam membantu menjelaskan materi kepada siswa dikarenakan keterbatasan pengetahuan yang dimiliki, tidak semua orang tua menyediakan fasilitas belajar lengkap karena keterbatasan ekonomi dan masih ada orang tua yang terkendala membimbing siswa dalam belajar karena kesibukan yang dimiliki.

Abstract

This research aims to develop comic media based on Pancasila student profiles with dimensions of faith, piety, and noble character. The development model used is the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, and development. This research is development research using qualitative and quantitative approaches and the ADDIE model. The data used in this research comes from expert suggestions and comments in qualitative analysis, while in quantitative analysis, scores obtained from experts and students are used. This research was conducted at SDN 169 Pekanbaru, with a focus on implementing the Pancasila student profile of the dimensions of faith, piety, and noble character as part of the independent learning curriculum. The data sources in this research are teachers, students, validators, material experts, language experts, and design experts. Data collection was carried out through interviews with the principal of SDN 169 Pekanbaru, observations of student character, and analysis of documents related to the implementation of the independent learning curriculum and the profile of Pancasila students at the school. Qualitative data analysis techniques were carried out using the thematic analysis method. Meanwhile, for quantitative data analysis using descriptive statistical methods, this research produces comic media based on Pancasila student profiles with dimensions of faith, piety, and noble character. The development of this comic media involves the use of Figma and Microsoft Word applications, from creating script sketches and adding color to adding effects to comic scenes. The validity of comic media was declared very valid without revision based on the validation results of material experts, language experts, and design experts, with an overall validity percentage reaching 98.21%. Student responses to this comic media were also positive, with an average of 91.03%. Thus, this comic media is suitable for use as a Pancasila-based character learning tool in elementary schools.

Abstract

By having the ability to read and write, a person can live his life with better quality. Especially in an increasingly advanced era 21. Low interest in reading is the main factor in students' low reading skills. This research aims to develop big book media based on local Riau wisdom for beginning reading. The development model used is the 4-D model, namely define, design, development. The data sources in this research are teachers, students, and validators, material experts, language experts, and design experts. The big book media is said to be suitable without revision according to the results obtained, namely the material aspect obtained a percentage of 92.5% in the very valid category, the language aspect 95% in the very valid category and the design aspect 96.25% in the very valid category. Overall the validity of the big book media obtained an average score of 94.58% so that this big book media is categorized as very valid without revision and is suitable for use. Then obtained student responses with an average of 96.6%. The implications of this big book media are expected to attract students to read, improve initial reading skills in lower grades, and increase students' knowledge about local Riau wisdom, specifically folklore.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa selama proses pembelajaran online pada mata pelajaran biologi. Pelaksanaan penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik survei pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling secara acak (simple random sampling). Jumlah sampel pada penelitian adalah 126 siswa. Instrumen pada penelitian yang digunakan berupa angket sebanyak 38 item dan telah divalidasi. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian menggunakan angket online yang dibuat menggunakan google form. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar siswa selama pembelajaran online pada mata pelajaran biologi adalah konsentrasi belajar siswa 60,65% kategori sedang, motivasi siswa 86,26% kategori tinggi, rasa percaya diri 60,05% kategori sedang , perhatian orang tua 64,92% pada kategori sedang, nilai persentase kategori rendah yaitu keadaan ekonomi keluarga 52,38%, cara mengajar guru 53,70% kategori rendah, kendala proses 60,01% kategori sedang dan kendala teknis 57,31% dengan kategori sedang. Maka dapat disimpukan analisa kesulitan belajar siswa mempelajari materi biologi pada pembelajaran online di kelas XI SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru memiliki nilai rata-rata persentase sebesar 61,91% dikategorikan cukup

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of visual media on the learning concentration of PKN students in grade 2 SDN 176 Pekanbaru. This research is a type of Pre-Experimental Design research, with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The population in this study were all grade 2 students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research is class 2B students, totaling 24 students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that through the t test (paired test) with a significance level of 5%, the t count was -6.868 with a significance level of 0.000. From the results of these calculations, it can be said that the t count is -6.868 with a significance of 0.000 <5%. So it can be concluded that the use of visual media in Civics lesson content has a significant influence on the learning concentration of grade 2 students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of audio-visual media on students' learning motivation in science subjects in grade 5 SDN 176 Pekanbaru. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research, with a non-equivalent control group research design. The population in this study were all 5th grade students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru. The sample of this research was students in grades 5A and 5B, totaling 66 students at SDN 176 Pekanbaru. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique. The results showed that from the results of calculating students' learning motivation data, it was obtained that sig (2-tailed) = 0.000, indicating that the level of sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 is below the sig value. 5% or (0.000 <0.05), so that Ho is rejected, Hi is accepted. This means that there is an effect of the use of audio-visual media on student motivation. Then, seen from the acquisition of the average value of students' learning motivation results, it shows that the average score of learning using audio-visual media is 88.21, which is higher than the average group of students who do not use audio-visual media, which is 75.48. Therefore, it can be concluded that the learning motivation obtained by groups of students who study using audio-visual media is better than groups of students who do not use audio-visual media
