Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) on the quality of life in patients with depression and anxiety. The research method used is a systematic review through searching for articles adapted to the formulation of research questions using the PICO formula in online databases (PubMed, Scopus, and ScienceDirect). The articles reviewed met the inclusion criteria and the articles were published between 2010 and 2023. The search results found 8 articles with research showing that acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) is an effective intervention for reducing symptoms of depression, both face-to-face and Web-based. In conclusion, to improve the quality of life of depressed patients with anxiety, therapy can be carried out on these individuals by carrying out acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Abstract

Torbangun leaves have been used by the Batak people in North Sumatra and have been scientifically proven to be the most effective lactagogue. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce the benefits of Torbangun leaves to improve welfare, and breastfeeding coverage in the working area of the East Martapura Health Center, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province, especially in Antasan Senor Village as a Village Assisted by the Banjarmasin Health Polytechnic. The purpose of the activity is to educate Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) cadre members and pregnant women in the management of breastfeeding, introduction of Torbangun plants and development of processed Torbangun leaves. The methods implemented in this activity are education and practice. The target group is seven Posyandu cadres and three pregnant women. Although statistically insignificant, the activity has succeeded in improving the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of participants in the management of breastfeeding, the ability to cultivate Torbangun plants, and innovation of Torbangun leaves products as lactagogue. This activity has provided theory and practice to encourage awareness of breastfeeding, cultivation of Torbangun plants, and development of processed products of Torbangun leaves.

Abstract

Episotomy is an incision in the perineum which is carried out immediately before the birth of the baby/during the delivery process. Where this action aims to expand the surface. Efforts to care for episiotomy wounds are very important to prevent infection in the perineal wound. Acceleration in wound healing is highly expected, one of which is by consuming high protrins, namely eggs. This research aims to provide care to postpartum mothers with grade II episiotomy wounds at PMB Nurhayati in the working area of ??the Air Tiris Health Center in 2024. This research is in the form of a case study with a descriptive observational method carried out on Mrs. P at PMB Nurhayati on 09-15 June 2024. The results of the case study research given to Mrs. P, namely seven visits over 1 week. The midwifery care provided is in the form of counseling on how to care for perineal wounds, teaching mothers personal hygiene in the perineum and genitalia area, giving mothers eggs to boil and consume twice every day. Based on the care given to Ny.P, aged 29 years P2A0, it was found that the wound was clean and dry, the suture threads were not visible, there was no tenderness and there were no signs of infection in the perineal wound. In conclusion, the care provided was carried out well and produced positive results. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for readers, researchers and increase insight and develop knowledge regarding care for postpartum mothers with episiotomy wounds.
