Abstract

 AbstractThe problem in this research is about how to influence the approach to play throw the ball to the learning outcomes passing under volleyball. The method applied in the study was through the approach of playing with plastic balls tools to enhance the learning process passing of learnersbelow. whole object of research is all studentswith a total of 32 students. Percentage increase in learning activities in the first cycle reaches 72%, the second cycle was 90%, while a score of expectation is learning activity is 90%. Based on the evaluation on the first cycleability underhand pass of students has increased from the initial conditions, namely: the initial conditions of the number of students who reach a value of 75 new 5 students (15.62%) and in the first cycle increased to 18 students (56.52%), the second cycle, increased to 28 students who achieve a grade of 75 or more. Keywords:underhand pass, total sampling, plastic balls, volleyball.

Abstract

this study was to determine the effect of motivation, discipline and work loyalty on the performance of teachers at Al-Azhar Senior High School Medan. The sample of this research is the teacher at the Al-Azhar Senior High School Medan with 51 samples of respondents. The statistical method used is multiple linear regression (multilinear regression analysis). The results of this study prove that partially motivation (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Teacher Performance (Y), with a t-count value of 7.149 and a significance level value of 0.001, partially Discipline (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Teacher Performance (Y) , with a t-count value of 9.191 and a significance level value of 0.003, partially work loyalty (X3) has a positive and significant effect on Teacher Performance (Y), with a t-count value of 12.307 and a significance level value of 0.000, Simultaneously Motivation (X1) , Discipline (X2) and work loyalty (X3) have a positive and significant effect on Teacher Performance, with a calculated F value of 57.182 and a significance level of 0.000. With a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.883 (88.3%).

Abstract

Riskesdas 2018 mencatat proporsi masalah gigi dan mulut sebesar 57,6% dan yang mendapatkan pelayanan dari tenaga medis gigi sebesar 10,2%. Adapun proporsi perilaku menyikat gigi dengan benar sebesar 2,8%. Masalah kesehatan gigi dan mulut merupakan hal yang dapat dihindari dengan melakukan perawatan sejak dini. Permasalahannya adalah kurang tepat waktu, teknik dan frekuensi cara menyikat gigi murid RA Nurul Hidayah Kota Jambi, disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan anak dalam tindakan pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut seperti menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar. Solusi yang akan digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah edukasi pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada murid RA Nurul Hidayah kota Jambi dengan media panthom gigi. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) melalui penyuluhan, dan demonstrasi pada Murid RA Nurul Hidayah Kota Jambi tentang cara menyikat gigi yang baik dan benar. Hasil PKM ini menemukan ada peningkatan keterampilan responden dalam menyikat gigi di RA Nurul Hidayah Kota Jambi.

Abstract

The results of the seiwak research carried out by researchers in 2021 show that there is a significant difference in the mean OHI-S score between the use of siwak wood as a toothbrush tool in the intervention group and the control group who only brushed their teeth, namely -3,259 ± 0.00. This difference shows that using miswak as a toothbrush aid is more effective in cleaning teeth and mouth than just brushing your teeth. The results of an initial survey conducted at the Kumpeh Da Aru Attauhid Islamic boarding school, of the 10 students who were asked how and the benefits of miswak, only one person could answer. The type of service carried out to the village partner communities is a program to improve the level of dental and oral health at the Kumpeh Da Aru Attauhid Islamic Boarding School, Muaro Jambi Regency. Only 20.5% of respondents had a high level of knowledge before the intervention, namely 41 people consisting of 21.80% poor OHIS, 4% moderate, and 2% good. Respondents who had a high level of knowledge criteria after the intervention were 99%, namely 198 people consisting of 0% poor OHIS, 1% moderate, and 99% good. The statistical test output shows the p-value of knowledge and OHI-s of Santri is 0.000. Because the value of 0.0000 < 0.05 means there is a difference between the level of knowledge and OHI-IS pre-test and post-test, it can be concluded that community service by providing education on brushing teeth and using miswak as a tool can improve the OHI-S of students.

Abstract

Lack of dental and oral health knowledge can lead to dental and oral health problems. Dental and oral health problems that are often experienced as caries, periodontitis, gingivitis and tartar. One of the risk populations is elementary school children. Providing dental and oral health education can reduce the risk of dental and oral health problems. One of the educational media that needs to be created to attract children's interest in learning is the snakes and ladders game. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the snakes and ladders education media on dental and oral health knowledge in class IV students at SDN 131/IV Jambi City. The method used in this research is a Quasi Experimental Design. Based on the calculation of the minimum sample size, it was determined that the subjects participating in this study amounted to 32 samples. Questionnaires are used as a research data collection tool. The data obtained will be analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The research results on maintaining oral health before and after education using snakes and ladders had an average value of 5.06 to 11.13. Knowledge before and after education with the demonstrative method had an average value of 4.94 to 7.63. Statistically, there was a significant difference between treatment and control (P=0.000). Counseling using the snakes and ladders game as a medium for dental and oral health knowledge is effective in enhancing elementary school children's understanding of dental and oral health.

Abstract

In 2023, the Indonesian Health Survey indicated that Jambi Province has 76.9% of residents brushing their teeth daily, but only 3.8% follow the recommended routine of brushing after breakfast and before bedtime. Among children aged 10-14, 75.7% brush daily, with only 5.3% adhering to the recommended timing. This highlights a lack of knowledge about oral health in Jambi. To address this, a community service initiative was conducted at SLBN Muaro Jambi for children with special needs, using video media to educate on proper tooth brushing techniques. This effort, part of the Community Partnership Program, involved 70 children and aimed at promoting dental health. Following the education, there was a significant improvement in tooth brushing skills: from 16% to 70% in the high criteria category. This initiative successfully enhanced the knowledge and skills of children with special needs regarding oral hygiene.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan pada masa pandemi Covid19 dan dilaksanakan dengan menjalankan protokol kesehatan, sesuai anjuran pemerintah. Mitra Pengabdian Kepada masyarakat ini adalah kelompok UMKM yang menjalankan bidang usaha pembuatan makanan ringan keripik dan makanan ringan lainnya di Desa Bahdamar, Kecamatan Dolok Marawan, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Provinsi sumatra Utara. Tujuan pengabdiaan ini mendapatkan pemahaman, pencerahan perihal penerapan manajemen, memahami aspek- aspek penting dalam pengembangan manajemen UMKM. Mendapatkan motivasi agar kelompok menggunakan media internet sebagai sarana dalam memasarkan produknya, dengan demikian kelompok mampu menemukan solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang timbul.Metode yang dilakukan adalah Ceramah dan diskusi merupakan cara yang dipakai tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan memakai metode 30% pemaparan makalah berupa power point dan 70% berupa diskusi atau menjawab pertanyaan dari para peserta Kelompok UMKM Desa Bahdamar. Target kegiatan ini adalah kelompok UMKM dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan dengan menggunakan sistem Manajemen yang lebih baik, bidang Pemasaran melalui media internet, sehingga omzet penjualan akan meningkat pada masa pandemic Covid19 ini. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah kelompok UMKM dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan dengan menggunakan sistem Manajemen yang lebih baik, bidang Pemasaran melalui media internet, sehingga omzet penjualan akan meningkat terutama pada masa pandemic Covid19 ini

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan pada MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI KARO Kabanjahe Kabupaten Karo. Permasalahan yang dihadapi siswa siswi SMA Negeri Kab. Karo berkaitan dengan kompetensi, terlebih lagi dalam hal sotf competency, rendahnya komitmen, rendahnya daya juang, rendahnya hasrat berprestasi, rendahnya kemampuan siswa siswi dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi (internet) sebagai sarana yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam meraih keunggulan kompetetif dan sukses masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari pengabdian ini adalah agar siswa siswi MAN Karo dapat termotivasi bersaing lulus masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri. Siswa siswi Aliyah tersebut mendapatkan pemahaman tentang hakekat kompetensi. Abstract

Background: Based on RISKESDAS 2018, 45% of the population in Jambi experiences dental and oral health issues, but only 9.5% receive medical treatment. The proper tooth brushing behavior in Jambi is very low, at only 1%. Research shows that 70% of children with intellectual disabilities have moderate oral hygiene, and more than 50% are in poor condition. Videos have proven to be effective in improving oral hygiene and tooth brushing skills. Observations at SLBN 1 Kota Jambi indicate that 100% of children brush their teeth incorrectly and 95% have poor OHI-S status, necessitating video education for improvement. Method: This study uses a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test. Results: The statistical test output shows a p-value of 0.000 for skills and OHI-S. Since the value of 0.000 < 0.05, the hypothesis is accepted, meaning there is a difference between pre-test and post-test skills and OHI-S. It can be concluded that videos are effective in improving tooth brushing skills and reducing OHI-S in intellectually disabled students at SLBN I Kota Jambi in 2024. Conclusion: The use of educational videos has proven effective in improving tooth brushing skills and reducing OHI-S scores, reflecting improved oral hygiene among intellectually disabled students at SLBN I Kota Jambi in 2024.

Abstract

This systematic review investigates the factors that influence the development of entrepreneurial skills in entrepreneurship education (EE). Recognizing the critical role of entrepreneurial skills in driving economic growth and innovation, as well as the increasing emphasis on CPD at different levels of education, this study synthesizes the existing literature to identify the key determinants of skills development. Using a rigorous methodology guided by the PRISMA framework, a comprehensive search was conducted on Google Scholar and Scopus, focusing on publications from 2020 to 2024 relevant to parental awareness and educational investment as proxies for broader influence factors. The meta-analysis method was strategically chosen to pinpoint significant variables and their interconnections. The initial identification phase yielded 478 records. Subsequent title and abstract screening yielded 378 potentially relevant records. Full-text retrieval was sought for these records, with 20 reports inaccessible. The remaining 200 full-text reports underwent a thorough eligibility assessment based on pre-defined criteria, which led to the exclusion of 130 reports for reasons such as language, incongruence with abstract content, or irrelevance to the specific topic of factors influencing entrepreneurial skills in PK. Ultimately, 70 studies met all inclusion criteria and were included in this systematic review. The findings of this synthesis provide a valuable understanding of the critical factors that shape the development of entrepreneurial skills in educational settings, offering insights for educators, policymakers, and future research efforts in improving the effectiveness of PK programs.
