Abstract

The student learning outcomes in SMAN 1 Kalirejo academic year 2012/2013 show the results that many of students doesnt reach the KKM 70. In learning most of the students think that physics is one of difficult subject, bored, and complicated subject. they do not give their attention when thr learning proccess is running. There is nothing interaction and discussion between the student one the others to discuss about the physics. the objectives of this research is know how the quality of the learning process in terms of student activity, based on the teacher activity, how the students learning respond, and how the students mastery in learning physics. Technique sampling in this research using is cluster random sampling technique, from 5 classes.To get the real data the research using tests, quesionnaires and observations. And to count the data effectivity the researcher using experiment method every indicator will be count by using experiment method. It start from multipled the each indicator then it will devided by how much indicator it self and the result of its will be times by 100%. The conclusion of the research in the use of the effective experiment method in teaching physics. thr score is 3.25 as shown by (1) the quality of learning process in terms of students activity in high percentaage 81.2% in high ccategorize (2) the quality of lesson good enough if the percentage it is about 75% from teacher activity, (3) the students respond after they got the method is positive it shows by the respond percentage 80,20%, (4) the result of individual students score has the avarege value 78.8 and from the clasical student got 87.8%, all of thr score is high categorize. Researchers suggest subjects physics teacher when delivering measuring the amount of material should be used experiment method for learning effective, for students should be serious in implementing learning and doing each activity well to the result obtained either.

Abstract

The research of any where founded majority students have common difficulties in abstract physics concept. The result of observation, lecturers have problem  in teaching implementation of abstract concepts on physics learning. The objective of this research is to find out the ways how to overcome this problem. The research place of  physics education programs and senior high school. The data are colected by quetionere, observation and interview. The lecturer behavior to making out this case is use of analogy to make concrete a abstract concept. This action is true, because the analogies are dynamic tools that facilitate understanding, rather than representations of the correct and static explanations. Using analogies not only promoted profound understanding of abstract concept, but also helped students overcome their misconceptions. However used analogy in teaching not yet planed with seriousness, analogy used spontanously with the result that less optimal. By planing and selecting right analogy, the role of analogy can be achieved the optimal result. Therefore, it is important to maping analogies of abstract consepts on physics learning.

Abstract

The objectives of this research and development was carried out to design a work-sheet of the static electricity material with Quran value and contant. Preliminary data is done in Muhammadiyah junior high schools of East Lampung.  Steps of  research and development include, potential and problems analyst, gather information, design, validation, and revisions to the product. The instruments used to collect data by documentation, literature studies, questionaire and observation sheets. Aspect validity work-sheet include: didaktif, construction and  techniques. The results showed that developed work-sheet was very good category. The advantages work-sheet improve not only knowledge but olso spiritual attitude. Disadvanteges was moment classroom activity the students more interested to the Al-Qur’an words then the material physics content.

Abstract

A study about inquiry in electricity and magnetism lecturing was conducted to take a picture inquiry application and its obstacles. Preliminary study had been conducted on four physics education programs of Java and Sumatra island in one or two meeting time, with emphasis aspect to inquiry activity in class through documentation study and observation. Meanwhile the interview just has been done in three data subjects. The data was analyzed qualitatively through: transcription, tabulation, coding, description to see the relationship and the essence of the inquiry based instruction on electricity and magnetism. Research finding showed that lecturers had difficulties in implementating inquiry based instruction on electricity and magnetism lecturing, because electricity and magnetism is abstract concepts. They did not know how to overcome and there is no effort that support inquiry processes in lecturing. The inquiry process could not be observed only in one session, but inquiry process should be conducted continuously during the whole program.Keywords: inquiry based on instruction, obstacles, abstract concepts, electricity and magnetism.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengembangkan buku ajar berbasis model Search, Solve, Create dan Share (SSCS) pada materi perubahan lingkungan, (2) mengetahui kelayakan buku ajar, dan (3) mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan buku ajar untuk memberdayakan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yakni analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket validasi ahli, angket respon peserta didik dan soal pretest-posttest, yang dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis dianalisis dengan sampel paired t-test dan dihitung dengan N-gain ternormalisasi. Hasil pengembangan buku ajar menunjukkan rata-rata hasil validasi ahli sebesar 93% dan berada pada kategori sangat layak digunakan untuk bahan ajar peserta didik. Hasil angket mengenai respon penilaian dari peserta didik sebesar 82,2% peserta didik memberikan respon positif terhadap bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Didapatkan hasil nilai postest sebesar 78,9 (kelas eksperimen) dan 68,6 (kelas kontrol). Diketahui bahwa dari uji t (kesamaan dua rata-rata) diperoleh thit(5,26) > ttab (2,02), yang berarti rata-rata N-gain peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan dengan rata-rata N-gain peserta didik pada kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan buku ajar berbasis SSCS terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. The aims of this research were 1) to develop a textbook-based SSCS model on environmental change material, 2) to test the feasibility of a textbook-based SSCS model, and 3) to test the effectiveness of a textbook-based SSCS model to improve the critical thinking skill of students at class XI of State Senior High School (SMAN) 2 of Metro. The development model used in this research was ADDIE model consisted of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data were collected by using the validated questionnaire and the pretest-posttest test and were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The data of the critical thinking skill were analyzed by sample paired t-test and calculated by normalized N-gain. The result of the development of a textbook showed the average results of the expert validation was 93% (very feasible for use as students teaching material). The result of respond of the students was 82.2%, it meant that the students gave the positive responses to the developed textbook. The scores of posttest were 78.9 (experimental class) and 68.6 (control class). The result of paired t-test was tcalculated (5.26) > ttab (2.02), it showed that mean of students N-gain in experiment class had the significant difference to the control class. Therefore, there was significant effect of the use of a textbook-based SSCS model to improve the the critical thinking skill of students.

Abstract

Belimbing wuluh merupakan tumbuhan yang masih kurang pemanfaatannya terutama pada buah belimbing wuluh. Dilihat dari kandungannya, belimbing wuluh mengandung asam format sehingga berpotensi untuk menghasilkan tegangan listrik sebagai sumber energi alternatif. Elektroda merupakan konduktor yang digunakan untuk bersentuhan dengan bagian atau media non-logam dai sebuah sirkuit. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh luas penampang elektroda yang digunakan terhadap tegangan listrik yang dihasilkan dan menyusun sumber belajar dari hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pendidikan Fisika pada tanggal 3 april 2018. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan metode eksperimen dan metode pengolahan data menggunakan anava. Rancangan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah dengan membedakan luas penampang elektroda yang digunakan dengan masing-masing luasnya yaitu 4 cm², 10 cm², dan 16 cm². Menggunakan 900 ml bubur belimbing wuluh dengan melakukan 10 kali pengulangan pengambilan data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil tegangan listrik masing-masing luas penampang sebesar 1.385 volt, 1.75 volt, dan 1.945 volt. Bagian penelitian yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar adalah pada proses perangkaian alat, pengukuran baik volume bubur belimbing wuluh dan tegangan listrik

Abstract

The supply of world energy resources is increasingly depleted. The abundance of cow manure and banana peel can cause environmental pollution. It can be used as raw material for biogas because both materials have a high methane gas ratio. This research is an experiment with six variations in the amount of mixture in each experiment. Results of the research on gas pressure and the best biogas production results using 1-litre banana peel substrate and 4-litre cow dung. Data shows that the gas pressure is faster and is greater when the pH of the mixture is acidic 6.2, the mixture is thick green and has a strong odour. Gas pressure on day 20 is obtained by 106421 Pascal. The average value of the results of the validation of the learning resources of the three aspects of an assessment is 82.3%; it shows that the poster can be used as a learning resource.

Abstract

Pandemi covid 19 memaksa penggunaan pembelajaran daring sebagai alternatif dalam proses pendidikan, dan kemungkinan akan menjadi kelaziman baru pada era Revolusi Industri 4.0 saat ini. Pembelajaran daring cukup potensial untuk meningkatkan kemampuan aspek kognitif, namun untuk mengembangkan aspek psikomotor rasanya cukup sulit jika menggunakan pembelajaran daring. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pengambangan model pembelajaran daring yang dipadukan dengan praktikum untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dan psikomotor. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitataif. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengolah data hasil belajar kognitif dan psikomotor sebagai efek penggunaan model yang dikembangkan, sedangkan pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk mengungkap kelebihan dan kelemahan model yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran perpaduan sistem daring dan praktikum memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan aspek kognitif (N-Gain=56,4%), maupun aspek psikomotor (N-Gain=81,77%). Sesuai hasil penelitian, maka model pembelajaran daring dipadu dengan praktikum dapat digunakan dalam situasi pandemi covid-19. Pelaksanaan praktikum hendaknya terjadwal dan dilaksanakan secara kelompok dengan memperhatikan lokasi kedekatan peserta didik.
