Abstract

The objectives of this study were to learn and prove the truth and scientific miracles of The Quran, specifically the prohibition of incest for humans, also applies and affects especially on the growth and yieldin particularly open pollinated plants such as maize through the process of inbreeding depression. The results of yield of each genotype of the tested inbred line showed yield reduction in all inbred lines tested from generation of S1 to S5. Lamuru and Bisma which were generated with an open pollinated breeding produced relatively stable yield from generation of S1 to S5. The entire tested inbred lines showed some trait changes, such as height of crop (cm) and yield of grains (t/ha) that tended to decline and die, while Lamuru and Bisma tended to be stable. It is implied in letters of The Quran, which forbid inbreeding for human that is very detrimental, not only on life sustainability of human beings and animals, but also on plants, particularly on the cross-pollinated plants. The scientific truth of The Quran which prohibits incest for humans are proven to be identical and also apply in maize.

Abstract

Nusantara Islam is an implementing of Islamic teachings in the region of Nusantara (it is called Indonesia now). Nusantara Islam does not appear in sudden, but it has a long historical process as the effect of the acculturation of the relationship of Indonesian with Arab and Persian, who areMuslims, andthe culture of Chinese and Indian,who are Buddhists/Hinduisms, which has become the nation’s characteristics. The traditional knowledgethat is built by the muftis (especially Walisongo), especially through pesantren produces Islam with the support of majority of people, i.e.,the view of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah (Aswaja). Thus, the core value of Aswaja is to maintain thegood traditional inheritance valueand to take/search forthe better new tradition, which is supported by the moderate, fair, tolerantand proportional attitude in all of life fields.   Keywords: Islam, Arab, Nusantara, Pesantren, Aswaja

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan salah satu karakteristikpendidikan dalam Islam, humanis. Merekonstruksi pendidikanhumanis atau humanisasi pendidikan merupakan keharusan,terutama bagi setiap pelaku pendidikan di Indonesia. Terlebih,potret buram pendidikan masih terus membayangi dan menghantuidalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Berbagai macam aksi kekerasan dantawuran antar remaja/siswa bisa jadi justifikasi atas opini ini.Pendidikan tidak lagi berorientasi bagaimana membentuk insanyang seutuhnya tapi lebih berorientasi bagaimana meraih materisebanyak-banyaknya. Sehingga tanpa sadar, manusia menjadisumber eksploitasi dari pendidikan itu sendiri. Dengan kata lain,telah terjadi dehumanisasi. Padahal seharusnya pendidikan adalahmemanusiakan manusia sesuai dengan kodratnya. Abstract

Indonesia is now facing various problems such as moral degradation, corruption, deceitfulness in schools and juvenile delinquency behavior. All of these require a solution. Most education experts argue that the Sufi-style education is one of ways to solve the moral problem. Among them is Ibn Aṭāillāh al- Sakandarī who undeniably has a significant role in this field especially through his famous work, al-Ḥikam. This article tries to uncover how the role of his moral education. It uses descriptive analytical method, in which the author refers to Sufi works that talk about moral education particularly al-Ḥikam. The findings are: first, the Sufi-style moral education is one of moral education methods focusing on self-empowerment and purification. It is hoped to get an improvement and even reach the level of gnosis (ma’rifat) which is in turn able to spread peace in this world. Second, Ibn Athoillah is the Sufis master who has a major role in the improvement of his pupils moral, especially through his work, al-Ḥikam. Third, his thought on Sufistic education can be applied in four stages: teaching, best practice, habituation, and strengthening. Keywords: Ibn ‘Aṭāillāh al-Sakandarī; moral education; al- Ḥikam; mysticism

Abstract

Abstract: This research describes about strengthening Islamic education to preschooler in Jepara district. This study is field-research, the premier data I data which obtained from research field. The approach is qualitative. Technique of data collection in this research is data from research field where reality will be investigated. The steps are: interview, observation, and documentation. The technique of data analysis in this research is in accordance with statement by Miles and Huberman which are data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of research are: first, base and purposes of Islamic education as strong reference is Qur’an, as in QS. Luqman: 13-19. While the purposes of Islamic education stated in QS. Ali Imran: 102. Second, curriculum those become foundation of strengthening Islamic education to early childhood education students are reflected in core competence and basic competences like religious, social, science, and skill. Third, relevant method in strengthening Islamic education to early childhood education students is play while learning, story-telling, singing, giving model, habituate, and study tour. Fourth, assessment or evaluation is done through observation, anecdote, dialogue, homework, creation, and portfolio.Keywords: Islamic Education, Early Childhood Education, Students

Abstract

Kemajuan pesat dan perkembangan di awal abad 21 membawa fenomena era disrupsi. Disrupsi bukan hanya sekedar perubahan kecil akan tetapi perubahan yang dapat mengubah tatanan fundamental. Aktivitas manusia bergeser dari dunia nyata menuju ke dunia maya. Perubahan tersebut dapat dilihat dari penggunaan alat komunikasi yang canggih sebagai tanda metode komunikasi yang berubah. Salah satu perubahan mendasar tersebut adalah perkembangan atau evolusi teknologi yang bertujuan untuk mencari celah-celah dalam kehidupan manusia. Situasi ini memudahkan digitalisasi yang dihasilkan dari perkembangan teknologi (khususnya informasi). Digitalisasi ini telah mengubah hampir setiap bidang kehidupan, termasuk dunia kerja. Maka, tantangan pendidikan Islam di era disrupsi teknologi atau perkembangan teknologi semakin komplek dan dibutuhkan usaha dan upaya yang relevan untuk menjawab semua permasalahan di era disrupsi seperti 1) meningkatnya multikulturalisme dan pluralisme dalam masyarakat modern, 2) meningkatnya penggunaan media teknologi dan informasi pada masyarakat modern, 3) globalisasi yang semakin mempercepat perubahan sosial dan budaya, 4) tantangan dalam mengimplementasikan ajaran Islam yang relevan dengan kondisi sosial, budaya dan masyarakat. Pendidikan Islam perlu menghadirkan pendekatan yang sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan media sosial, sehingga dapat menghasilkan penerus bangsa yang terampil dan bijak dalam menggunakan teknologi dan media sosial tetapi tetap konsisten dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai Islam. Pendidikan Islam yang terus mengembangkan metode dan pendekatan yang relevan dengan kondisi sosial dan budaya masyarakat akan membantu meningkatkan pemahaman umat Islam terhadap ajaran Islam dan relevansinya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Abstract In the mid of widespread radicalism in society, it has become a concern of many circles, especially eduacation expert. Various concept of deradicalization were presented in various media in order to create a conducive situation in society. Ibn Miskawaih can be seen as the first character to propose the concept of the middle path (moderate) as a character value that reject the minus and plus extrimities. It is necessary to reveal his concept in the field of character education. Keywords: Ibn Miskawaih and Character Education Abstrak Di tengah maraknya paham radikal di masyarakat, menjadi keprihatinan banyak kalangan, terutama para ahli pendidikan. Berbagai konsep deradikalisasi disuguhkan di berbagai media guna mewujudkan situasi kondusif di masyarakat. Abstract

ABSTRAK Problematika riset ini berupa maraknya sejumlah kasus dan isu terkait intoleransi dalam beragama yang terjadi di Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir ini. Salah satu upaya Kementerian Agama yakni dengan program moderasi beragama yang disosialisasikan melalui internalisasi dalam dunia pendidikan hingga ke masyarakat umum. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi pustaka yang dikategorikan jenis kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui teknik pengumpulan data dengan dokumen dan dianalisis dengan causal descriptive yang bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan mendeskripsikan relevansi pemikiran Syaikh Yusuf al-Makassari dalam Pendidikan Islam sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan moderasi beragama. Hasil penelitian adalah pemikiran etika tasawuf Syaikh Yusuf al-Makassari dinilai relevan dengan Pendidikan Islam karena orientasi pada rasa dan etika religius yang bersifat adaptif. Pemikiran tersebut sangat menekankan pada nilai-nilai moderasi dan toleransi yang sangat tinggi berupa tawassuth, tawazun, i’tidal dan tasamuh. Nilai-nilai yang sejalan dengan moderasi beragama ini, maka patur diterapkan dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara khusunya di Indonesia yang majemuk. ABSTRACT The problem with this research is the rise in a number of cases and issues related to religious intolerance that have occurred in Indonesia in recent years. One of the Ministry of Religion's efforts is a religious moderation program that is socialized through internalization in the world of religion. This research used a literature study, which is classified as qualitative. Data were obtained through data collection techniques with documents and analyzed using causal descriptive, which aims to reveal and describe the relevance of Shaykh Yusuf al-Makassari's thoughts in Islamic education as an effort to increase religious moderation. The results of the research show that Syaikh Yusuf al-Makassari's Sufism (tasawwuf) ethical thoughts are considered relevant to Islamic education because of their orientation towards adaptive religious feelings and ethics. These thoughts place great emphasis on the very high values of moderation and tolerance in the form of tawassuth, tawazun, itidal, and tasamuh. These values are in line with religious moderation, so they should be applied in the life of the nation and state, especially in a pluralistic Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is, firstly, to find out how the education of indigenous women RA. Kartini. Second, to find out the relevance of RA Kartini's indigenous women's educational thinking to Islamic Education. In this study using the library research method (Library Research) with the main source being a collection of letters "After Darkness, Emergence of Light" translation by Armijn Pane, published by Balai Pustaka in 1938 with 204 pages thick. The primary data in this study is data in the form of quotations of words, phrases, sentences in the collection of letters of R.A. Kartini "After Dark Comes Light" translation by Armijn Pane. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that through an analysis of RA Kartini's letters sent to her friends in the Netherlands, at least you will find important parts of RA Kartini's thoughts on indigenous women's education, criticism of socio-culture, anxiety in understanding religion, and her multi-roles. as a daughter, as a wife as well as a mother, and her involvement in the public sphere both in the humanitarian, educational and political realms.

Abstract

AbstractThe research objective is to build an education model of religious life based on life skills in the Islamic boarding school according to the philosophy of life of the nation. This study used Borg and Gall development procedure consisting of three stages of development, namely pre-development, development and post-development. Activities undertaken in the pre-development stage is to conduct literary study. The development stage includes the steps of drafting a guidance to formulate general objective, special objective, developing evaluation tools and determining strategy. The post-development stage includes expert test, small group test and limited group test. The expert assessment results show that education model of the religious life based on life skills in Islamic boarding school have met the acceptability criteria when viewed from the usability, feasibility and accuracy aspects. The study results are in two schools in the Islamic boarding school surrounding, namely Islamic Senior High School (MA) Al Hikmah 2 and Vocational School (SMK) Roudlotul Mubtadiin, which have organized life skills education although with different variants, i.e. materials of vocational education programs in the extra-curricular activiti­es, such as: computer, English, fashion, fisheries, electronics, automotive, welding, and Kitab Kuning (Islamic books). The implementation of life skills education is not limited to the level of regulatory structure, both in the curriculum and in the educational process, but also the effectiveness of education contained in the culture system of religious life in developing life skills in the Islamic boarding school environment.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk membangun model pendidikan kehidupan beragama berbasis life skills di pesantren sesuai dengan falsafah hidup bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur pengembangan Borg and Gall yang terdiri atas tiga tahapan pengembangan, yaitu pra pengembangan, pengembangan dan pasca pengembangan. Kegiatan yang dilakukan pada tahap pra pengembangan adalah melaku­kan telaah literatur. Tahap pengembangan meliputi langkah-langkah menyusun draf panduan dengan merumuskan tujuan umum, tujuan khusus, mengembangkan alat evaluasi dan menentukan strategi. Tahap pasca pengembangan yaitu melakukan uji ahli, uji kelompok kecil dan uji kelompok terbatas. Hasil penilaian ahli menunjukkan bahwa model pendidikan kehidupan beragama berbasis life skills di pesantren telah memenuhi kriteria akseptabilitas bila ditinjau dari aspek kegunaan, kelayakan dan ketepatan. Hasil penelitian adalah pada dua sekolah di lingkungan pesantren yaitu MA Al Hikmah 2 dan SMK Roudlotul Mubtadiin, telah menyelenggarakan pendidikan life skills walaupun dengan varian yang berbeda, yaitu materi program pendidikan keterampilan dalam kurikulum ekstra kurikuler, seperti: komputer, bahasa Inggris, tata busana, perikanan, elektronika, otomotif, pengelasan, dan kitab turats. Implementasi pendidikan life skills tidak sebatas pada tataran struktur regulatif, baik dalam muatan kurikulum maupun proses pendidikannya, tetapi efektivitas pendidikan terdapat pada sistem kultur kehidupan beragama dalam mengembangkan life skills di dalam lingkungan pesantren.
