Abstract

The purpose of Theraplay is to develop and increase parents and child relationship. Along with the progress of relationship between parents and child, social interaction ability of children will increase through structured and playfulness activity that they do with their parents. While they are playing  together, they are also sharing some joint attention one and another to focus on their activity. Through it, autism children are stimulated to develop their ability in responding and initiating joint attention. Research design is pre-eliminiary research, and the purpose are to collect initial data from beginning survey, observation and interviewing to autism children family, assessment of their basic need and to make a design of  intervention program using theraplay. The beginning survey and early assessment explain that  autism children with high intellectual functioning ages 8-9 years old, can make responding joint attention (RJA) consistently but their ability to make initiating joint attention (IJA) is not consistent. So that, the purpose of  Theraplay intervention program in this research is to enhanced initiating joint attention (IJA) ability of autism children

Abstract

This study aims to analyze correlation as well as the influence of self concept and peer group on potential tendency/potentials to be dating violence victims in late adolescene (early adulthood). The study population is the late adolescent/adult at two private universities in the city of Bekasi. The sample size is 172 male and female students aged 18-21 years. Data were collected using three measuring instruments; self-concept scale, peer group scale and scale Tendency to be a victim of dating violence (Conflict of Adolescent Dating Relationship Inventory). Analysis of individual characteristics, self-concept, peer group and its relation to the tendency to become victims of dating violence, processed and analyzed by using descriptive analysis. Interconnection test and the influence of independent variable (self concept and peer group) partially or collectively to the dependent variable (tendency to become dating violence victim) using multiple linear regression test. The results show that the Self Concept correlates and influences the tendency of becoming a victim of dating violence, in the opposite relationship. This means that the higher the self concept of the subject then the tendency to become victims of dating violence is lower. These relationships and influences are statistically significant. The peer group relates and influences the tendency of becoming a dating violence victim in the opposite direction. This means that the higher the peer group (the ability to not be affected by the peer group / ability to think and act independently), the lower of the tendency to become victims of dating violence. However, the relationship and influence of peer groups on the tendency to become victims of dating violence is not statistically significant

Abstract

Urban society is synonymous with people who master technology, rapid changes and the rhythm of life demanded fast-paced. Community-based care needs to be encouraged to keep teens out of negative currents. This study aims to determine the interventions that will then be undertaken to develop a psychology skill module in order to create a youth-friendly community. This research is a partial quantitative research with CBPR (Community Based Parsipatory Research) method. This method enables communities and academia to collaborate in determining the focus of interventions and targets to achieve together. The study involved adolescents, parents with teenagers, community members (neighbors) and community leaders to explore the need for interventions to create a youth-friendly environment. Methods of interviewing (semi-structured), focus group disscusion, behavioral and environmental observations and psychological measurements of parenting are a way for researchers to extract data from the community. The results showed that adolescents are able to grow their potential to develop the necessary community-based care.     Community-based care fosters active participation for the community. People need psychological skills, ie behavioral detection in adolescents (Deteksi), empathy (Empati), effective communication (Komunikasi efektif), action (Aksi) and responsiveness (Tanggap), which will be shortened by DEKAT. Youth-friendly communities are expected to guide youth to better express their aspirations and youthful energy

Abstract

This study aim to examine the knowledge of the mother who has autism kid about the characteristic and problem of autism child, and about the skill of these autism?s mother in handling the problem of their autism kids. After having the data about this things, the researcher arrrange a pre-modul of improving knowledge and skill for mother of autism training program. This study consist of two steps. First, to get a description and the profile of the knowledge and skill of the mother of autism. We get them for willing to involve in developing their kid?s potency. This knowledge and skill strongly related to the comprehension of the mother about the problems and handling autism child. Second, based on those description and profile, we make a pre-modul of improving knowledge and skill for mother of autism training program, in order to be used in a autism?s potency developmental activity, especially improving the IJA skill in autism children. From the questionnaire that given to the mother of autism kid, the data of characteristic of knowledge and skill of mother in a problem and handling autism children has been gotten. The mothers have adequate knowledge, also an ability to understand and accept the condition of their autism kid. They care about, pay attention, and take care of the autism children with a very restrictive knowledge and skill, which should be increased so that the development of their autism kid could be optimal. Hence, researcher arrange a pre-modul of improving knowledge and skill for mother of autism training program, especially in improving the IJA skill in autism children. This pre-modul training program expected to be the manual to support the program for the mothers with autism kid. Then, this pre-modul training program could improve the knowledge and skill of mothers, so that mothers would be able to apply the knowledge and skill from this training program in many settings of daily life with autism children

Abstract

Polygamy is a marriage problem that most widely debated and be a controversy. The problems that arise in polygamous marriage could be related to various aspects, including physical, psychological, and also social aspects. Nevertheless, several studies indicated that polygamous marriage could be successful if each party in the family gives a positive judgment to those polygamous marriage itself, and willing to do coping to the situations that could be considered as a stressor. By coping, each individuals in the family would be able to live a good life with a polygamous marriage, and happy, without a conflict that might be end in a divorce.The aim of this study is to determine whether there is a correlation between using stress coping strategies and the level of happiness of the wife in polygamous marriage, whether there are differences in the level of happiness to the wife to use different coping strategies. The samples selection is done based on the purposes of the research (purposive sampling), whom are the wives of a polygamous marriage. Abstract

Vaksinasi terhadap Covid-19 adalah cara terbaik untuk mencegah penyebaran Covid-19. Selain itu, penerapan protokol kesehatan 6M yaitu memakai masker, cuci tangan, menjaga jarak, membatasi mobilitas, menghindari keramaian, dan menghindari makan bersama juga sangat penting untuk menekan penyebaran Covid-19. Masih ada masyarakat yang takut untuk melakukan vaksinasi terhadap Covid-19 dan kurangnya kesadaran dalam menerapkan protokol kesehatan menjadi kendala dalam menghentikan penyebaran Covid-19. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan sosialisasi yang dilakukan melalui aplikasi zoom meeting serta penilaian pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Setelah dilakukan psikoedukasi didapatkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya vaksinasi dan penerapan protokol kesehatan 6M yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan jumlah soal yang dijawab dengan benar sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian sosialisasi sudah memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat dan diharapkan keberlanjutan kegiatan ini dapat dilakukan di masyarakat luas sehingga ilmu yang diberikan dapat bermanfaat secara umum Vaccination against Covid-19 is the best way to prevent the spread of Covid-19. In addition, the implementation of the 6M health protocol, namely wearing masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, limiting mobility, avoiding crowds, and avoiding eating together is also very important to suppress the spread of Covid-19. There are still people who are afraid to vaccinate against Covid-19 and the lack of awareness in implementing health protocols is an obstacle in stopping the spread of Covid-19. The method of implementing this activity uses socialization carried out through the zoom meeting application as well as pre-test and post-test assessments to measure the level of understanding before and after the activity. After doing psychoeducation, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge about the importance of vaccination and the application of the 6M health protocol as indicated by the increase in the number of questions answered correctly so it can be concluded that the provision of socialization has a positive impact on the community and it is hoped that the sustainability of this activity can be carried out in the wider community so that the knowledge provided can be useful in general.

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the picture between peer social support and learning motivation with schoolwell-being at SMP Negeri 40 Bekasi City. This research method uses quantitative research with the variables studied, namely the relationship between peer social education (X1), and learning motivation (X2), towards school well-being (Y). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 40 Bekasi City with the research subject of grade 8 students totaling 120 students, this research was conducted within a period of three months from January 16, 2023 to March 31, 2023. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and psychological measurement scales (questionnaires). The tests used in this study are descriptive tests, assumption tests, normality tests, linearity tests, correlation tests and multiple linear tests. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that there is a positive and significant relationship between peer social support and school well-being, and there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and school well-being. There was an influence between peer social support and learning motivation with school well being positively and significantly with an R square value of 0.469 (46.9%) and an F Test Value of 15.962 with a significant level of p = 0.000 (ρ<0.05).

Abstract

There are various forms of education in Indonesia, and highschool education is one of them. High school studentsbelong to the adolescent age group characterized bycuriosity for new experiences, and unresolved curiosity canlead to academic stress. This study aims to examine therelationship between social support, hardiness, andacademic stress among Sekolah Penggerak students usingindependent curriculum. The study sample consisted of 199students from grade 1 selected through cluster randomsampling. The data collection methods of the study wereinterviews and psychological scales. The research used theEducational Stress Scale for Adolescents (ESSA),Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support(MSPSS), and the Hardiness Scale. For the analysis,correlation and multiple regression tests were used.Correlation test results showed a significant relationshipbetween social support and academic stress (r=-0,428,p<0,001) and hardiness and academic stress (r=-0,396,p<0,001). Social support and hardiness explained 26.2% ofacademic stress (R2=0.262; F(2,196)=36.237, p<0.001).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic burnout and social support on academic burnout in santris, as well as the influence of academic self-efficacy and social support on academic burnout in santris. This research is research using quantitative research methods with a correlational type. The subjects in this research were santris at the Bekasi Islamic boarding school. The sampling technique used was a random sampling technique and the number of samples used was 156 using the Slovin formula with a precision value of 0.05. The data collection methods in this research are interviews and psychological measurement scales. The research instruments used were the academic self-efficacy scale with an Alpha Cornbach reliability value of 0.953, the social support scale with an Alpha Cornbach reliability value of 0.854, and the academic burnout scale with an Alpha Cornbach reliability value of 0.880. Data analysis techniques used the Spearman rank correlation test and regression test. multiple linear. This research found that academic self-efficacy and academic burnout had a negative relationship, namely -0.217, and social support and academic burnout had a negative relationship, namely -0.331. Furthermore, there is an influence between academic self-efficacy and social support on academic burnout showing an R square (R2) value of 0.128 or 12.8%.
