ABSTRACTThis research was conducted based on the phenomena showing that the students were not accustomed to discuss in pairs. This research was aimed at revealing whether the mathematics conceptual understanding of the students taught by using The Learning Cell active learning strategy was better than that of students taught by using the conventional one in class VIII of SMPN 4 Lembah Gumanti. This was an experimental research which used random toward the subject design. Populasion were students of SMPN 4 Lembah Gumanti which consists of three classes. Samples were taken at random that was selected as the experimental class VIIIB and as control class VIIIA. The instrument of the research was an essay post-test whose reliability was 0.65. Based on the result of data analysis by using t-test assisted with software MINITAB, it was found that P-value was 0.022 which was smaller than α value. This result signified that H0 was rejected. Thus, it was concluded that the mathematics conceptual understanding of the students taught by using The Learning Cell active learning strategy was better than that of students taught by using conventional learning on 95% of reliability level.

One of the procedures to improve the quality of education is implementing School Based Curriculum (SBC) fully. A data collecting method used in this research are interview, observation, documentation and questioner. The data obtained from interview, observation, documentation and questioner will be analyzed by qualitative descriptive techniques. Based on the result, the propernes of SBC implementation for mathematics learning in SMPLB-A and SMPLB-B shows 67,22% with âGoodâ category and 82% with âVery Goodâ category, respectively. In general, the implementation of SBC for mathematics learning at SMPLB has been applied properly but there are some modification done by teachers. Key Words: SBC, Implementation

This research is intended to describe how concentrate of industrial market of pulp and paper before and after crisis was occur, and to analyze how impact of structure to pulp and paper industrial performances before and after crisis. Method being used in this research is concentration ratio (CR) either CR4 or CR8. This research is also uses multiple regression to see impact of independent variables (market share, cost of capital, efficiency and cost of raw material) to dependent variable (added value). The results of research are concentration ratio (CR) of total raw material, CR of added value, and CR of output; all of those are increase both CR4 and CR8. This means that crisis have had impact toward increasing concentration ratio pulp and paper industries, whereas CR of wage is decrease. CR4 decrease by 13% and CR8 decrease by 14%. The results of this research also indicate that cost of capital have negative impact to added value of company. Companies whose have less capital would have higher profit, vice versa. Sampling using Judgemental Sampling. To find out how much relationship between both side variables, the researchers used the analysis of correlation pearson product moment. Questionnaire for data processing, carried out using the statistical program Product And Service Solution (SPSS) version of Windows 23. The results of the research on the relationship between communicators in electronic word of mouth with purchase decisions followers of instagram account Kulinerpku Obtained t value of 0,675 with probability level 0,005. This means that the value is included in the category of strong interpretation guidelines in accordance with the correlation coefficient. It shows that there is a correlation of communicators in Electronic word of mouth with purchase decisions followers Kulinerpku instagram account H0 is rejected and Ha is received.
