Abstract

Nursing services in the hospital for 24 hours a day, that have constant contact with the patient. Therefore, the nursing services at the hospital is an integral part of health care and contribute highly to determine the quality of hospital services. Based on patient data visit of Inpatient Installation of RSD Dr. Soebandi Jember which have increased from year to year, especially the highest number at interna unit. So that the necessary studies to calculate the optimal needs of nurses in the internal ward inpatient installation by the WISN (Workload Indicator Staffing Need) method . This study aims to determine the optimal number of nursing staff requirements in Section Inpatient Unit Interna of RSD. Dr. Soebandi based on real workload with WISN method. This study is a descriptive study with quantitative data analysis by the method of work sampling. The data was collecting used work sampling form. Samples were chosen activities every ten minutes which done by staff in 24 hours. Primary data collected by observation of worker activity pattern in six days. Secondary data source collected from medical record and human resources unit in Dr. Soebandi Hospital Jember. The results showed that the use of productive time of the total available working time is 76.5%. With details of the productive activity of 26.16% direct, indirect productive by 37.19% and 13.12% of nonfunctional. Based on WISN calculation method, the number of personel that needed is 25 people. So with the result that concludes, this time Interna Ward requires one more personel. Key Words : WISN, work load, nurse

Abstract

One of the Alert Village activities is implementation of surveillance based on community namely surveillance of maternal and child health through activities which are conducted at the Integrated Health Services.  Surveillance activities are conducted by a cadre who records and reports using information system of the integrated health services. The resulted information is weight,  child’s nutritional status, immunization, risk level of pregnant women, immunization of Tetanus Toxoid, list of mothers and children who are either life or lifeless, and presence of health workers during providing services. Based on the previous study, resulted information was difficult to re-access and had not resulted the complete, accurate, and clear information. The objective of this research was to analyze and design of the integrated health services information system for supporting surveillance of maternal and child health based on community at the alert village. Design of this research was qualitative. Development of the system was based on the steps of FAST (Framework for the Application of Systems Thinking). Subjects consisted of both the end users (cadres of the integrated health services, Work Group IV of Family Welfare Education, midwives, and nutritional health workers at Health Centers) and the supporting end users (Head of Village and Chairman of the Alert Village). Data were analyzed using a content analysis (for the qualitative data). The results of this research were  scope definition, problem analysis, requirements analysi, logical design, and decision analysis. Keywords : Information System, Integrated Health Services Post, Surveillance of Maternal and Child Health

Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop information system of the integrated health services post for supporting surveillance of maternal and child health based on community at the alert village. Design of this research was pre-experimental (one group pretest-posttest). Subject consisted of the end user  (cadres of the integrated health services post). Data were analyzed using considered average of resulted information between before and after developing the information system.The score of the considered average on the new system (3.07) was higher than the score of the considered average on the old system (2.54). It means that the new system could overcome problems related with quality of information namely accessibility, completeness, accurateness, and clarity. Abstract

UPT. UNEJ Medical Center (UMC) is one of the health service provider institutions in Jember. Patient satisfaction is one indicator of the quality of services provided by health providers. Patient satisfaction is also an investment to get more patients and have a high loyalty. Therefore UPT. UMC requires the satisfaction index to identify the extent service user satisfaction levels of services. Community satisfaction index consisting of 14 essential elements which valid and reliable as the minimum elements that must exist. The purpose of this study was to describe the user community satisfaction index of health services in UPT. UMC. Design research using observational studies because they did not give a treatment of the respondent. While time-based research using cross-sectional approach. Respondents research were patients of UPT. UMC as many as 94 people. Results obtained research data and information that the community satisfaction index of UPT. Abstract

According to data from the District Health Office of Jember in 2012, the highest infant mortality rate is in Mayang Public Health Centre. Jampersal can encourage acceleration achievement of MDGs 4 and 5 is to reduce child mortality, and improve maternal health. The purpose of the research to know the cause of the high infant mortality rate at Mayang Public Health Centre and low coverage compared to the target. Method of the research use descriptive. The subjects in this research are a doctor, midwife, jampersal target, and public figures .An informer in this research totaled 34 informer.Tekhnik data analysis using triangulation. Based on research, input is appropriate infrastructure of.The input that is not appropriate human resources type of service and financing.The process is no corresponding to technical instruction jampersal. Output is scope child and maternal health and the infant mortality rate in 2013. Child and maternal health coverage 2013 less than a targets but better than in 2012.Infant mortality in puskesmas mayang 2013 also decrease compared to the year 2012. Based on the evaluation can be concluded that program jampersal average there is a discrepancies in every element in the system with technical guide Jampersal program. Abstract

One of factors that affected maternal death are skill and ability of delivery. According tothe data of Health Department of Jember District , the numbers of childbirth helped bytraditional birth attendance at the subdistrict area of Bangsalsari Community HealthCenter were 165 in 2012 and 102 childbirth in 2013. The goal of study was to describethe role of traditional birth attendance in the implementation of Midwife and TraditionalBirth Attendance Partnership in pregnancy and delivery period in BangsalsariCommunity Health Center, Jember District. The study was a qualitative study with haveinvolving 11 informants by Purposive technique. The result showed that traditional birthattendance have did some of their roles in pregnancy and delivery period. Pregnantmother have motivate traditional birth attendance to do check pregnancy and deliveryprocess to midwife but some of them did not have go to midwife to check pregnancy andpreferred to choose traditional birth attendance as their delivery. Unfortunately traditionalbirth attendances still help delivery process because there were some of people ask andforce them to assist delivery process.Keyword: Traditional birth attendance role, Partnership, Pregnancy, Delivery.

Abstract

Puskesmas Patrang dan Rambipuji memiliki wilayah kerja yang berpotensi untuk tempatberkembang biaknya nyamuk Aedes Aegypti sebagai penular penyakit Demam BerdarahDengue (DBD) karena berada di ketinggian kurang dari 1000 meter diatas permukaan laut.Selain itu, juga memiliki karakter wilayah yang hampir sama karena letaknya berbatasan.Tetapi, angka kesakitan (Incident Rate) penyakit DBD di Puskesmas Patrang tahun 2015sebesar 113,13 per 100.000 penduduk jauh lebih besar daripada Puskesmas Rambipujiyang sebesar 18,16 per 100.000 penduduk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan evaluasi Program Pengendalian Penyakit DBD (P2 DBD) antaraPuskesmas Patrang dan Rambipuji Kabupaten Jember tahun 2015. Penelitian inimerupakan penelitian deskripktif. Variabel penelitian ini adalah evaluasi Program P2 DBDmeliputi input, proses, dan output. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancaramenggunakan panduan wawancara dan studi dokumentasi menggunakan checklist. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan input Program P2 DBD di PuskesmasRambipuji lebih lengkap daripada Puskesmas Patrang. Sebagian besar proses pelaksanaanProgram P2 DBD di Puskesmas Patrang dan Puskesmas Rambipuji tergolong kategorikurang. Selanjutnya, pencapaian output Program P2 DBD yaitu Angka Bebas Jentik (ABJ) diPuskesmas Rambipuji lebih besar daripada Puskesmas Patrang. Kata Kunci : Evaluasi, Program P2 DBD, Input, Proses, Output

Abstract

The public’s satisfaction ratings of the health center services can be seen from the performance or perceived outcome compared with expectations. The general objective of this study is to assess people's satisfaction of health center services. Method is a qualitative research approach. This research was conducted in all districts in Jember, by taking 25 informants as samples for indept interview. The sampling technique to informants by using purposive sampling and snowball sampling, qualitative research instrument of this study is the researchers themselves by holding on to an open questionnaire guidelines, technical analysis is descriptive. The results of the study describe that the majority of informants (80%) say the public satisfied of the services at the health center, the issue then the people donot know what standards they are supposed to get from the service. Service to customers is a service that can be justified and balanced. In this context, services in health centers should transparently explain the standard of service flow and what will be done by the medical waiter, so the patient know about what kind of service that they would be received. The issue of quality of service is the most important thing to increase confidence in the health centers, for example in terms of service time, the average time to get a queue number about three minutes. Then the waiting time to be called about ten to thirty minutes. While the time to see a doctor about five minutes. And the time to stand in line to take drugs in about thirtyminutes. With the size of this time, the average patient takes about one to one and a half hours in a health center.
