Abstract

Penelitian tentang pengaruh penggunaan POC (lamtoro + batang pisang) dan bokashi sampah pasar terhadap tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.) dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Korong Gadang, Kecamatan Kuranji, Kota Padang, dari bulan Februari sampai dengan Mei 2021. Tujuan penelitiasn untuk mendapatkan konsentarsi POC dan takaran bokashi sampah pasar yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman mentimun. Percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan perlakuan 6 dan 4 kelompok, sehingga terdapat 24 satuan percobaan. Satuan percobaan merupakan petakan dengan ukuran 200 x 210 cm, dengan jarak tanam 70 x 50 cm, sehingga pada setiap petakan terdapat 12 tanaman. Tanaman sampel untuk pengamatan ditetapkan dengan 4 tanaman/petak. Perlakuan yang diberikan pada percobaan adalah : A: Tanpa POC dan bokashi, B: POC 10 %, C: POC 20 %, D: Bokashi 3 t/ha-1 , E: 6 t/ha-1 , F: 9 t/ha-1. Data-data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik dengan uji F, jika F-hitung lebih besar dari F-tabel maka dilanjutkan dengan uji DNMRT pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian POC dan bokashi sampah pasar memperlihatkan pengaruh yang sangat berbeda nyata terhadap seluruh parameter pengamatan. Perlakuan yang memperlihatkan pengaruh terbaik adalah 9 t.ha-1. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan untuk menggunakan takaran bokashi sampah pasar untuk tanaman mentimun adalah 9 ton/ha.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan perlakuan terbaik pupuk cangkang telur + NPK 16:16:16 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang panjang (Vigna sinensis L). Percobaan ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Data hasil pengamatan dianalisis secara statistik dengan sidik ragam uji F, kemudian dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pengaplikasian pupuk cangkang telur + NPK 16:16:16 memperlihatkan pengaruh berbeda sangat nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan, panjang tanaman, umur berbunga, umur panen, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong per plot, panjang polong ter panjang per tanaman, berat polong per tanaman, dan berat polong per plot. Pengaplikasian pupuk cangkang telur + NPK 16:16:16 pada perlakuan D (40 g cangkang telur + 6 g NPK 16:16:16) memperlihatkan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang panjang (Vigna sinensis L.)

Abstract

The community service carried out by the Ekasakti Padang University Team is in the Nagari Tuik area, Batang Kapas District. the northern part of the South Coast District. The community, in general, is farming, because the agricultural land is very large, namely 256 ha. There are still many people who cultivate rice fields, but not many have cultivated corn which further increases income. Because the base price of corn is more stable than the base price of grain. The base price of flat corn alone is between Rp. 2500 – Rp. 5000 a kilo. In addition, corn can be processed into various products such as steamed brownies made from corn and sweet corn pudding. This service socializes the cultivation of sweet corn plants and their processing so that they can increase people's income and increase knowledge about corn cultivation. Knowledge increased from 24.6% to 80.6%. And people's income also increased with the production of steamed brownies with a selling price per unit of Rp. 2,500. BEP will be achieved only when 123 pieces are produced. So if it is produced more than that, it has already benefited. With this sweet corn cultivation program, it can be a community empowerment program

Abstract

The Research conducted about exploating of Fungi Mycorrhiza Vesicular Arbuskular(CMA) to growth of Coffee seed (Coffea robusta L) at Ultisol soil. Aim to know some measuring of appropriate CMA in improving growth of seed Cowpea. This research use complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatmens and 4 replication. Data was analyzed by ANOVA and DNMRT. The treatmens were amount of CMA used in Coffe plant : A0 (0g polybag-1), A1 (20 g polybag-1), A2 (40 g polybag-1), A3 (60 g polybag-1), A4 (80 g polybag-1), A5 (100 g polybag-1). The result showed that increasing of CMA dose will increased growth of Coffee.

Abstract

Penelitian “Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) di Pre Nursery dengan Perbandingan Media Tanam Bokashi Limbah Solid Decanter + NPK 16:16:16” dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Koto Panjang Ikur Koto Tangah, Padang Sumbar, 20 mdpl, Maret-Mei 2023. Tujuan penelitian mendapatkan media tanam terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) di pre nursery. Rancangan yang digunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), 6 pelakuan 4 ulangan. Data pengamatan dianalisis statistik dengan sidik ragam (uji F), Uji lanjut Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) pada taraf nyata 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh sangat berbeda nyata pada tinggi tanaman, bobot segar bagian atas, bobot kering bagian atas, bobot segar akar. Jumlah daun, panjang akar, bobot kering akar berbeda nyata dan diameter bonggol tidak berbeda nyata. Perlakuan F merupakan perlakuan yang terbaik. Disarankan menggunakan media tanam (tanah topsoil: Bokashi Solid Decanter) 10:5 + 1 gram NPK pada pembibitan kelapa sawit di pre nursery.

Abstract

Corn silk (Zea mays L.), commonly considered agricultural waste, contains bioactive compounds with potential health benefits, including flavonoids, phenols, and tannins. These compounds exhibit antioxidant properties that can help prevent degenerative diseases such as cardiovascular disorders, diabetes mellitus, and cancer. This community service program focuses on utilizing corn silk as a raw material for producing herbal tea with economic value and health benefits. The program employs participatory and collaborative approaches, involving local farmers to develop skills in production, marketing, and product quality assurance. The innovation supports sustainable health practices and contributes to local economic development by transforming agricultural waste into valuable products.

Abstract

Penelitian Pengaruh Pemberian Bokashi Solid Decanter Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) di Main-Nursery dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Koto Panjang Ikur Koto Kecamatan Koto Tangah, Kota Padang, Provinsi Sumatera Barat, waktu penelitian dilakukan dari bulan Februari 2019-Mei 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan perbandingan media tanam terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman bibit kelapa sawit. Penelitian dalam bentuk percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan sehingga semuanya terdapat 24 satuan percobaan. Masing- masing satuan percobaan terdiri dari 5 polybag tanaman sehingga terdapat 120 polybag tanaman. Sebagai perlakuan media tanam adalah A = Kontrol, B = Media tanam (tanah topsoil:Bokashi Solid Decanter) 10:1, C = Media tanam (tanah topsoil:Bokashi Solid Decanter) 10:2, D = Media tanam (tanah topsoil:Bokashi Solid Decanter) 10:3, E = Media tanam (tanah topsoil:Bokashi Solid Decanter) 10:4, F = Media tanam (tanah topsoil:Bokashi Solid Decanter) 10:5. Data hasil pengamatan bibit kelapa sawit dianalisis secara statistik dengan uji F. Hasil percobaan menunjukkan bahwa pemberian Bokashi Solid Decanter memperlihatkan pengaruh yang berbeda nyata pada pertambahan tinggi bibit tanaman, pertambahan diameter bonggol, bobot segar bagian atas, bobot kering bagian atas, bobot segar akar, bobot kering akar, tetapi tidak berbeda nyata pada pertambahan jumlah daun (pelepah). Bibit yang mendapatkan perlakuan Bokashi Solid Decanter 10 : 5 memperlihatkan pengaruh yang terbaik bagi pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit di Main-Nursery. Bibit kelapa sawit di pembibitan utama disarankan sebaiknya menggunakan media tanam (Tanah Topsoil : Bokashi Solid Decanter) 10:5.

Abstract

Research "Providing Soil, Oil Palm Empty Bunches Compost (TKKS); NPK Fertilizer 16:16:16 on the Growth of Oil Palm Seeds (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) ”has been implemented in Koto Panjang  Village, Ikur Koto, Koto Tangah District, Padang City. Starting from February to May 2020, the study aims to obtain the best comparison of soil planting media, OPEFB compost and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD), with 7 treatments and 4 replications. As treatment is the ratio of Soil: TKKS and NPK 16:16:16, namely: Treatment A = Soil + 5gr NPK, B = Soil: EFB (1: 1) + 5gr NPK, C = Soil: EFB (1: 1) + 10gr NPK, D = Land: TKKS (2: 1) + 5gr NPK, E = Land: TKKS (2: 1) + 10gr NPK, F = Land: TKKS (3: 1) + 5gr NPK, G = Land: TKKS ( 3: 1) + 10gr NPK. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the provision of land: OPEFB compost; NPK Fertilizer 16:16:16 gave a very significant effect on plant height, weevil diameter, root fresh weight, root dry weight, fresh weight of stems, dry weight of stalks and not significantly different on the number of leaf midribs. Providing soil: The best OPEFB compost is found in treatment D = Soil: EFB (2: 1) + 5gr NPK.

Abstract

Research on the effect of dosage of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of Paddy Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Using the SRI (Sytem of Rice Intensification) Method in Korong Kapalo Banda, Nagari Aie Tajun District, Padang Pariaman Regency, from January to April 2021. This study aims to obtain the best dose of NPK fertilizer to support the growth and yield of lowland rice using the sri method. This study used a randomized  block design (RAK)with 5 treatments and 4 groups in the form of a plot. The data for each observation obtained were analyzed by means of variance, and continued with Duncan’s New Mutiple Range Test( DNMRT) further test at the 5% level. From the experiments that have been carried out, several conclusions can be drawn: the application of N, P, K fertilizer with the SRI method has a very significantly different effect the prameters of plants height, average grain number of panicles, 1000 seed grain weight, and grain weight yield. Per plot bad had no significant effect the percentage of productive tillers. The N4 treatment was the best dose and increased the growth yield of rice plants. It is tecommended to use N4 treatment (200 kg ha-1) on rice plants using the System of Rice Intensification method to get the best.

Abstract

Research on the effect of giving tofu liquid waste fertilizer on the growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max L. Merril), has been carried out in Koto Panjang Ikur Koto Village, Koto Tengah District, Padang City. Starting from April to July 2019. The study aims to get the best concentration of tofu liquid waste fertilizer for the growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max L. Merril) The experiment used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 5 and 5 groups of treatment, so there were 25 experimental units. The treatments given in the experiment were various concentrations of tofu liquid waste fertilizer as follows: A: 0 ml/liter water/plot, B: 30 ml/liter water/plot, C: 60 ml/liter water/plot, D: 90 ml/liter water/plot, E : 120 ml/liter water/plot. The results showed no effect significantly different on the number of primary branches, flowering age, harvest age, weight of 100 seeds, but significantly different on plant height, percentage of pithy pods per plant, dry seed weight per plant and dry seed weight per plot, but the yield was still below description. From the results of this study, it is recommended to increase the concentration of tofu liquid waste fertilizer by more than 120 ml/liter of water/plot against the observation parameters to get results that match the description
