Abstract

A preliminary study had been conducted on the making of cocofoam from coco fiber using diluted latex-water mixture. Coco fiber was cleaned and washed, and then dried up in the sun. Then, coco fiber was mixed with diluted latex-water mixture in several weight variations (w/w) 5:3, 5:4, 5:5, 5:6, 5:7 and 5:8. The mixture of coco fiber with the diluted latex-water was molded, and the result was called cocofoam. Cocofoam was vulcanized by using steam with duration variation 30, 60 and 90 minutes. After vulcanization cocofoam was dried up in room temperature for 36 hours. Then, the elasticity test was carried out by giving loads on its surface with weight variation 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 kg. The result showed that the best quality cocofoam was produced from coco fiber blended with diluted latex-water mixture 5:6. In direct observation, this result didn’t show latex clod on cocofoam product, and the elasticity value was quite good. The C-56 cocofoam vulcanization steamed for 90 minutes showed increasing thickness about 22%, elasticity test showed the decreasing thickness for 2,04% in average, and the C-56 cocofoam density is 0,7905 g/cm3.3.

Abstract

Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) is a dangerous infectious disease that was first detected in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province in China, in December 2019 and has since spread worldwide. Preventive efforts are being made to stop and stop the spread of Covid-19 patients, both symptomatic and asymptomatic. Employee monitoring using Covid-19 is now done by sending health data to the company's Covid-19 task force via the Whatsapp application and transferring the records to Microsoft Excel for use as a report to the company's management. In reality, this is very time consuming and often results in recording errors, resulting in errors and delays in submitting reports to senior management. In addition, self-isolated Covid-19 employees will not be able to receive health counselling with doctors who have worked for the company. Rapid Application Development (RAD) methods are system development processes that focus on the speed of development by actively and repeatedly engaging users in each development process to meet their needs through modelling. Easy to develop. To overcome these issues, the aim was to facilitate the work of the Covid-19 Task Force, which monitors the health of people affected by Covid-19, manages data, and submits reports to company management.

Abstract

Abstract The State Junio High School (SMPN) 1 Muara Gembong Bekasi is currently not optimally running the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) program. So far, the OSH program has put more emphasis on slogans and posting information about OSH. School residents, namely: teachers, education staff, and students at SMPN 1 Muara Gembong not many understand the importance of K3 in schools. Whereas the K3 program in schools is very important and needs special attention, because: 1) Activities in schools need to ensure safety and health aspects for school residents, 2) K3 in schools can be a vehicle for building OSH awareness and culture for the younger generation who are the workforce. productive. The purpose of Community Service Activities (P2M) at SMAN 1 Muara Gembong Bekasi is to improve the performance of K3 implementation at SMPN 1 Muara Gembong Bekasi. This K3 implementation training focused on safety awareness, emergency response in schools, and fire prevention. Through this activity, it is hoped that there will be an increase in K3 at SMPN Muara Gembong Bekasi related to: awareness, knowledge, and implementation/implementation of K3 by school residents. This P2M activity is also a manifestation of the tridarma of higher education to provide OHS information and education to the public, especially schools. The activity begins with pre-training, in the form of visits to schools to see the conditions and identify the needs of SMPN 1 Muara Gembong. Information and data were obtained through observation and interviews with school leaders, teacher representatives, student representatives and education staff representatives. The training activity was carried out in August 2022 at SMPN 1 Muara Gembong. This P2M activity also involved students from the Fire Safety Engineering Study Program. Abstrak Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri (SMPN) 1 Muara Gembong Bekasi saat ini belum optimal menjalankan program Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Program K3 sejauh ini lebih ditekankan pada slogan dan pemasangan informasi tentang K3. Warga sekolah yakni: guru, tenaga kependidikan, dan siswa di SMPN 1 Muara Gembong belum banyak yang memahami pentingnya K3 di sekolah. Padahal program K3 di sekolah sangat penting dan perlu perhatian khusus, karena: 1) Aktifias di sekolah perlu dipastikan aspek keselamatan dan kesehatan bagi warga sekolah, 2) K3 di sekolah dapat menjadi wahana untuk membangun kesadaran dan budaya K3 bagi generasi muda yang merupakan angkatan kerja produktif. Tujuan Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (P2M) di SMPN 1 Muara Gembong Bekasi adalah untuk meningkatkan kinerja implementasi K3 di SMPN 1 Muara Gembong Bekasi. Pelatihan implementasi K3 ini difokuskan pada safety awareness, penanggulangan keadaan darurat di sekolah, serta pencegahan kebakaran. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan ada peningkatan K3 di SMPN Muara Gembong Bekasi terkait: kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan pelaksanaan/ implementasi K3 oleh warga sekolah. Kegiatan P2M ini juga salah satu wujud dari tridarma perguruan tinggi untuk memberikan informasi dan edukasi K3 ke masyarakat, khususnya sekolah. Kegiatan diawali dengan pra pelatihan, berupa kuunjungan ke sekolah untuk melihat kondisi dan identifikasi kebutuhan SMPN 1 Muara Gembong. Informasi dan data diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan pimpinan sekolah, perwakilan guru, perwakilan siswa dan perwakilan tenaga kependidikan. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan pada Agustus 2023 di SMPN 1 Muara Gembong. Kegiatan P2M ini juga melibatkan para mahasiswa dari Program Studi Rekayasa Keselamatan Kebakaran.

Abstract

Fenomena di masyarakat terdapat banyak siswa di pendidikan dasar banyak yang belum bisa membaca dengan lancar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa jauh kemampuan membaca pada anak sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan metode literature review. Studi literature ini dilakukan dengan menganalisa beberapa artikel penelitian dari tahun dua ribu sembilan belas sampai dua ribu dua puluh tiga. Data didapatkan dari Google Schoolar dengan kata kunci anak sekolah dasar dan kemampuan membaca. Hasil dari literature ini didapatkan lima artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil dari studi literature ini didapatkan kemampuan membaca pada anak sekolah dasar masih rendah. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi masukan untuk pendidik dalam merencanakan pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi pada siswa di pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of financial literacy, financial behavior, herding behavior, risk tolerance, and overconfidence on capital market investment decisions (case study on students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta). This type of research is quantitative. The population used in this study were Accounting students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta in the class of 2020. This study uses a sample withdrawal method, namely the NonProbability Sampling method using Purposive Sampling technique. The number of samples used in this study were 311 respondents. The data in this study are primary data. The data analysis techniques used are validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis test, and hypothesis testing. The result of this study is that financial literacy has no significant effect on investment decision making. A person's financial behavior does not affect his investment decisions.  Herding behavior has a significant effect on investment decisions. Risk tolerance affects investment decision making. Overconfidence affects investment decision making.

Abstract

Learning tools must support teacher and student learning to achieve learning outcomes. The absence of teaching materials will be a barrier to good learning outcomes. Educators are asked to actively participate in creating inventive learning tools, including interesting teaching materials, with this free curriculum. Students who enjoy learning will help teachers in the learning process. The aim of this research is to analyze how much influence teaching materials have on the learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. The method used is quantitative. The instruments used were observations, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques include reliability testing, validity testing, analysis prerequisite testing, and hypothesis testing. The sample consisted of 32 students who were in class V of elementary school. The results of this research showed that the influence of teaching materials was 61% on student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, 39% was influenced by factors outside this research. It was concluded that the use of teaching materials that use learning models influences student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the paradigm of scientific integration between Islam and science. Integration, which has been based on scientific ideas, should have started with integration based on divine ideas. Therefore, the main focus of this paper is how the basic framework of thinking in the integration of Islam and science is based on the idea of divinity, its application in the world of education and the challenges that must be faced with the integration of Islam and science based on the idea of divinity. To answer these problems, the article was designed using the literature review method. Finally, this article sees that the basic idea of integrating science and science must be based on God. This idea is a concrete theoretical solution to immediately realize the integration of science between Islam and science which has long been echoed but is still difficult to implement. Integration that emphasizes the embodiment of divinity in terms of the praxis of knowledge and science, does not bring science into Islamic science. Concretely, in the world of education, this embodiment can be seen from the goals set by an institution in organizing it.

Abstract

Usaha bengkel las di Wilayah Jaten Karanganyar sebagian besar mengerjakan kontruksi kecil hingga sedang dan belum mampu mendapatkan proyek besar. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah desain yang diinginkan konsumen hanya dibuat sket gambar manual seadanya tanpa mengukuti kaidah gambar teknik standar ISO dan tanpa melalui proses perancangan, sehingga estimasi biaya dan kebutuhan bahan hanya perkiraan saja dengan kata lain tidak standar. Selain itu dalam proses pembuatan produk, terjadi banyak kesalahan pengukuran sehingga pemotongan dan penggunaan bahan tidak effesien. Tujuan menjadi fokus utama PKM ini adalah pengenalan proses perancangan, pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan perangkat lunak CAD dalam mendesain dan merancang produk yang dikerjakan dengan proses pengelasan. Mitra utama program pengabdian ini adalah juru las dan warga sekitar terutama warga lulusan sekolah vokasi/SMK untuk berkolaborasi dengan mengangkat studi kasus merancang dan mendesain pembuatan Gazebo masjid Fatimah Ar-Royyan Jaten karanganyar. Metode yang dipilih pada proses pengabdian demi tercapainya tujuan pengabdian adalah kolaborasi interaktif, yang dibantu dengan media animasi manufaktur dan detail gambar Teknik standar ISO.  Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah tumbuhnya minat warga yang ingin mempelajari dan menguasai pengoperasian perangkat lunak desain CAD. Evaluasi secara keseluruhan terjadi peningkatan interaksi antara mitra pembuat (juru las dengan Mitra konsumen) dengan adanya peresentasi visual gambar 3D maupun gambar teknik, dan terjadi efesiensi penggunaan bahan dan proses yang lebih baik sehingga keuntungan proses jasa manufaktur proses las meningkat.

Abstract

Banyak juru las industri rumah tangga yang bisa mengelas secara otodikdak namun tidak menguasai teknik pengelasan yang sesuai standard yang ditetapkan oleh asosiasi pengelasan. Untuk itu, tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat Jurusan Teknik Mesin Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta bekerja sama dengan Inlastek Welding Institute Surakarta malaksanakan pelatihan juru las untuk meningkatkan mutu produk bengkel las rumah tangga. Pelaksanaan pelatihan pengelasan ini dilakukan dengan standard ISO 9606-1-2013. Pelatihan pengelasan ini dilakukan selama 2 hari di mana materi pelatihan teori diajarkan oleh tim pengabdi UNS karena mempunyai sertifikat Welding Engineer sedangkan materi pelatihan praktek dan uji sertifikasi dilakukan di Inlastek Welding Institute. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan pengelasan terutama pengelasan dalam mengelas pelat yang tebal. Selain itu, juru las juga menjadi mengenal jenis-jenis teknik pengelasan yang lebih canggih daripada teknik pengelasan yang ada di bengkelnya.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren adalah salah satu jenis tempat pendidikan formal maupun non formal yang selain memberi materi pelajaran agama juga mengajarkan adab hidup sehari-hari sehingga siswa/santri harus menginap di asrama selama proses pendidikan. Untuk itu, selain sarana prasarana pendidikan, pondok pesantren juga harus menyediakan sarana prasarana kehidupan sehari-hari seperti kamar dan tempat tidur, dapur, sarana olah raga dan lain sebagainya. Karena keterbatasan lahan dan bangunan, satu ruang asrama biasanya dihuni oleh 30-40 santri dengan menggunakan tempat tidur bertingkat. Karena ruang kamar asrama yang kurang memadai, santri biasanya belajar, membaca, mengerjakan Tugas Sekolah di atas tempat tidur. Untuk memberi kenyamanan dalam belajar santri, maka meja belajar yang dirancang terintegrasi dengan tempat tidur untuk menghemat ruang sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Rancangan tempat tidur tingkat terintegrasi dengan meja belajar berbahan dasar baja siku yang bisa dibongkar pasang dengan mudah karena system sambungannya dengan mur-baut. Alas tidur bagian bawah bisa dipisah setengah, lalu dilipat ke arah tiang tempat tidur dan meja belajar bisa didapatkan dengan membuka lipatan berikutnya. Desain ini digunakan untuk program pengabdian yang melibatkan kerjasama bengkel las Sumber Rejeki desa Sawahan, Jaten dan Pondok Pesantren Wirausaha Masjid Fatimah Ar Royyan desa Jongkang, Buran, Karanganyar.
